"Would anyone like coffee?" 

No answer. 

"I'm taking that as no." 

Silence. 

"More coffee to myself."

Complete and utter silence. 

"Fuc-" She stopped herself as she bit back the pain. 

She came out of the kitchen with a napkin on her lip and coffee stains on her shirt. Her head was bent down as heat radiated off of her cheeks, but she still felt as if they could still see the embarrassment. 

She sat on the couch next to Benjamin. 

Her black hair hung down over her face as her head darted up. She went to fix her hair, but Benjamin had already taken care of it by pushing it behind her ear.

She gave him a uneasy smile before her eyes flew to Ty who grunted at the display of affection. 

Ella frowned slightly, but when she looked back at Benjamin she couldn't help but smile at him. His black hair was getting a smidge bit too long to the point it was almost hanging in his eyes at the front. 

She ruffled his hair playfully, completely aware of Ty's disapproval. 

And as her hand fell into Benjamin's she realized that she was tired - tired of it all. 

Ty needed to grow up and so did she. 

She faced Ty who was leaning against the wall on the other side of the room. "Forgive him." She demanded suddenly. 

She squeezed Benjamin's hand, reassuring him that she knew what she was doing. 

Ty's eyebrows were furrowed together and his lips were slightly parted as he stared at his sister. "What did you say?" He dared her to say it again. 

"Forgive him." She demanded again. 

Ty wasn't used to this side of Ella and he wasn't so sure he liked it either. 

"Wh-" She didn't give him the time or day to finish his question. 

"It's not a suggestion or a offer." She gave him a stern look. "Now forgive him." 

Ty looked defeated as he kept looking at his sister. 

He let out a sigh, knowing he had just lost, and turned his gaze on Benjamin. "I-um-I forgive you." He said awkwardly. 

She smiled triumphantly, "Now apologize to Benjamin." 

Ty glared at Ella before rolling his head to the side to look at Benjamin again, "I'm sorry." 

It wasn't the best apology, but it would do for now. "Good." Was all she said before she yanked on Benjamin's hand and pulled him out of his seat. 

She answered before he could ask, "We're going to my room now." She wiggled her eyebrows and Benjamin laughed as he let her lead him. 

Ty groaned.
