Sometimes I wonder if you ever believed in love because if you did then you would've let me go. And I fear that you'll never be able to let go. 

So I'm letting go for you.

Benjamin's sister was pronounced dead on February 14th in the afternoon. She had left a letter on her nightstand for him. The letter had haunted him for years and years. 

And as he stood in front of Ella's house with guilt written all over his face, he realized that now was the time to let go. For he feared if he didn't then you would loose Ella as well. He couldn't bear the thought of loosing her again, he couldn't. 

I can do it. I can fix you. He thought as he knocked on the front door. 

No answer.

He knocked again. 

Still no answer. 

The third time was charm. 

He came face-to-face with Ty as he stared down at him with a blank face. He could see right through Ty. Deep down he knew Ty's anger was only a form of grief. 

Benjamin swallowed the lump in his thought before finally letting go of the past. "I owe you an apology and I am extremely sorry for your loss. I shouldn't have interfered with your love life, but I knew - never mind." He stopped himself, trying not to make any excuses. "The point I'm trying to make is that I understand how miserable and draining it is to loose someone because at the same time you lost your girlfriend I also lost my sister. And maybe I was the cause of her death, but I was only doing what I thought was best. I was convinced that love was the cause of depression." 

His words reached Ella's ears, however he couldn't see her because Ty was blocking the view. Ella was confused but when did anything Benjamin said or did make sense? 

"I was wrong. Ella proved to me that love is actually the cure because without her I felt empty. And I feel incredibly guilty for taking away that kind of love from you. I didn't know at the time. I know that it's not enough and it doesn't make anything better, but I'm sorry."

Ty stood at the door, emotionless as his eyes darted behind Benjamin. Ella slowly moved forward and her tiny figure popped out from behind Ty. 

She gave Benjamin a warm smile, but when she met Ty's eyes her smile faltered. His eyes were cold and distant, something she had never seen before. She wrapped her arms around him and within seconds she felt him lean into her. His body felt lifeless in her arms, but she knew it was a whole different story on the inside. She glanced up at him after a while only to be met with sad eyes that were red around the rims, dried tears on his cheeks, and quivering lips. 

"I'm here, I'll always be here." She whispered in a soothing tone. Giving him one last reassuring hug she let loose of him and turned to face Benjamin who was now lost in his own thoughts. 

She walked up to Benjamin, "Thank you." She whispered. 

The sound of her voice was enough to draw him back to reality. He gave her a slight smile "I told you we were in this together." 

Taking a hold of her hands he brought them to his lips, kissing them softly. Her eyes fluttered to his intense, but warm eyes that she had grown to adore. 

"I hope so." She replied. 

It took all of her will power to tear her gaze from him. She managed to glance over at Ty who was now starting to go back inside the house. She glanced back at Benjamin and without a word pulled him forward. 

"Ella-" He started to protest. Benjamin wasn't so sure right now was a good time to be in the same house as Ty, but Ella insisted. 

Ella also wasn't so sure right now was a good time, but she couldn't leave Benjamin outside. He had apologized to Ty and Ella respected that. 

She knew it took a lot to admit about his faults and she couldn't leave Benjamin outside after giving that little speech.

However when they both entered the house she knew that it was going to be a rough day. 

She was ready for it, at least she hoped.
