Vihaan's house was filled with people who loved him except for his sister Lavanya, no one was related to him by blood but they remained his family.

Lavanya had stepped inside the house more times than he can count over the two years. But her walking inside today as his bride made everything more special.

Divya di and his angel's family had planned everything out and all Lavanya and him got to do was to follow their instructions. Walking inside the house side by side with his angel as married couple felt like the first step into their married life.

It has been just few hours since he got married to his angel. A marriage he had dreamed of ever since he fell in love, even now his eyes kept drifting towards his wife. She was talking with her parents and looked happy. It was all he wanted from her to be happy.

For so long Vihaan feared that allowing someone into his life would take away their happiness because he never felt that emotion until he met his angel. She saved him by her unconditional love that he could hardly recognize his past self now.

The silent loner Vihaan who was cynical about everything and everyone is now a family man who is embracing his happily ever after. Lavanya made him believe in her goodness first, he had been amazed by her pure heart and then she made him believe he was capable of being in love and having her love changed everything for him.

"Oh man, Will you stop staring at your wife for a minute and listen to me. I have been talking with you for the past ten minutes and you hardly heard a word " Akash spoke up as his hand tapped him to gain his attention.

"Don't tease my cousin in law. He can state at his wife all day if he wants, not everyone finds you interesting to talk with and today is their wedding day. You got to make yourself scarce and not cling to him " Kavya spoke up next as she dragged Akash away from him.

Vihaan was about to approach his wife when he noticed Savitri Dida talking with Meera and Ishaan. Something about the conversation felt like a goodbye from her to them that he made a quick detour to check on her.

Vihaan had been found right when he heard Dida wistful voice saying she might not be alive to see their wedding but she wants both of them to remember she would watch it from above and would be just as happy as she is today.

"Don't talk like that Dida. " Meera gently spoke up as she embraced her and Vihaan felt a flicker of fear that his happily ever after may not start the way he wanted it to be because for a moment he had forgotten about Dida.

Vihaan had assumed the request to postpone the surgery came out of wish to see the wedding but tonight he wondered if she was quietly saying goodbye instead. It might be selfish of him but he wanted her to fight for her survival. While as a doctor he knew all the medical aspects of the surgery, human will is important as well on recovery process.

"Come on Vihaan, I did agree to get admitted tomorrow. Don't look so sad and join Lavanya. Tomorrow can be all about me but tonight is about both of you" Dida spoke up once she noticed him and he knew the wisdom in her words, so he set aside his worry and walked up to his wife as intended.

Lavanya was married and if she expected everything would feel different instantly. It wasn't the case. Yes she was happy beyond words but she didn't feel like much a changed and maybe it was because nothing did. Her whole family was around and her eyes kept drifting towards Vihaan, her husband as always.

But the nervousness she expected from getting married didn't occur at all. Maybe it was because she knew Vihaan so well that this wasn't a big change like she feared or so she thought until everyone took their leave one by one and it was only Vihaan and her parents left.

Suddenly she was more nervous than ever before and it felt ridiculous. Because there was no reason to be nervous, the only new factor into the marriage would be physical intimacy.

Lavanya and Vihaan had decided to wait till marriage, it had been a mutual decision based on several factors. First they weren't ready to cross that line, then when they got engaged they did contemplate it but in the end decided to wait.

Lavanya wasn't scared about their intimacy. With Vihaan, it was something she desired more than she can explain. And she knew he desired that connection as well, so it wasn't a reason enough to worry or cause the nervousness.

She wasn't scared of their first night together in literal sense. She was excited for it and yet the nervousness wouldn't subside and she felt close to tears when she realized her parents are expecting her to say goodbye.

"Come on Princess. Time for us to go , give your dad an hug" her father spoke up and she crashed into him willing his arms to provide the strength to make her feel strong again.

"It is okay to be bit nervous Lavanya. This is a big day for both of you. Don't think there is something wrong with you or worry Vihaan wouldn't understand. All of us go through it, when I married your father, I was nervous too even when I had absolute no reason to ever worry. Just like you got no reason to fear Vihaan wouldn't understand. " her mother spoke up a moment in private before she held her father's hand and walked away.

It was just two houses away and yet Lavanya felt the distance in her heart until Vihaan's hand wrapped around her waist and she leaned on to him.

"Are you okay angel?" Vihaan spoke up as few drops of tears that she held back fell on his hands.

" Are you nervous ? " Lavanya asked him instead.

"Of course I am not nervous. Just terrified that I am not worthy of you and worried that this might just turn to be a dream" Vihaan spoke up instead making her smile a little because it did feel like a dream.

"It is not just a dream Vihaan. It is our dream that finally turned into a reality. Do you know how many nights I stayed awake to dream about our future together and now that it is here instead of being brave enough, I get nervous" Lavanya spoke up and realized speaking about it with Vihaan indeed made her feel lighter because she knew he would never judge her but share her burden.

"You do know that there is no set timeline for anything right. We don't need to rush into anything just because we are married. " Vihaan spoke up gently and the rest of her nervousness fell away at his concern.

"I know Vihaan, would you consider me rushing anything if I wanted to kiss my husband now." Lavanya spoke up as she turned towards him and tiptoed until his lips clashed with her and everything else faded away except the two of them.

Vihaan held his sleeping wife and felt the flicker of smile remain on his face at how adorable she looked asleep. When she asked him if he was nervous earlier. He had admit the truth that he was terrified, because he feared that his fairy tale end might just turn to be a dream.

Maybe it had been the reason he couldn't sleep, he just didn't want this day to end yet. So he continued looking at his wife because there was nothing more perfect than the sight of her in his arms.

"Now I understand why you postponed our honeymoon trip for a week. Because I am not getting out of this bed for a week" Lavanya spoke up startling him as she opened her eyes to look at him with a smile.

"Did I wake you ?" Vihaan asked hesitantly wondering if he disturbed her sleep somehow but she shook her head in answer and only then he recollected what she told him and his face fell at the reminder that the secret still stand between them.

Tomorrow he would have to tell his angel the reason they can't leave for the honeymoon yet. He just didn't want to say it tonight for some selfish reason he wanted her to have a perfect wedding day.

"What is wrong Vihaan?" Lavanya spoke up, she could read his face better than anyone else. And something of sadness must have reflected in it because her face reflected the concern for him.

"Do you remember the secret I had to keep from you. It is the reason we can't leave for our honeymoon soon. I will tell you everything tomorrow, I just don't want you to worry today. " Vihaan answered back and realized his error when a slight frown creased her face as if she was analyzing his words and found him foolish.

"Why not today?" His angel asked him next and he knew it was silly reason as he glanced at the clock which indicated there was 40 more minutes left for this day to end. But sometime trying so hard to make it perfect could backfire as well.

"Vihaan, I can wait for 40 more minutes if this is important for you to keep and not ruin our wedding day. But do you know Vihaan, Marriage is not about the ups of life, it is about both ups and downs. Similarly why should our wedding day be different. I can worry for 40 more minutes needlessly or you can tell me what is going on. Marriage is about sharing your burden with your partner too Vihaan and I am your wife as of today and so I don't want you to suffer alone " Lavanya spoke up gently as she still lay on his shoulder with her arms wrapped around him for comfort.

His Angel worried too much about him and he worried too much about her as well. But she was right in the fact being married means they don't have to suffer alone over anything and being able to lean on each other.

So he told her as gently as possible about Savitri Dida health and her surgery scheduled for day after tomorrow.

Just few minutes ago his wife lay on beside him with a smile and now she was crying against his shoulder as she continued to pepper him with more questions. Vihaan answered them truthfully.

"I should have noticed, I know she is getting older but I ignored it" Lavanya spoke up few minutes later but she was no longer crying and Vihaan had to assume it was because she had hoped for the best, while he wanted Savitri Dida to fight for her survival, he didn't want his Angel to take the surgery success as guaranteed either to only get her heart broken.

"I didn't book the tickets yet Lavanya" Vihaan spoke up and she nodded her head as if understand what he means to say if the surgery was successful they might be able to leave in a week but if not then he knew her enough to realize a trip would be the last thing she wanted that soon.

"What do you want me to do to make it better?" Vihaan asked his angel few minutes later hoping he could erase the pain in her face.

"Just hold me Vihaan and it is more than enough" Lavanya answered back and so he did held his wife in his arms until she fell asleep again.

He was about to drift off to sleep when a loud knock on their main door woke both of them up. Vihaan asked Lavanya to stay behind as he went to check on the intruder in the night.

As he glanced at the clock on his way down, he wondered what more surprise could his wedding day bring and when he checked the security camera he found his late night visitor was a shivering and crying sister.

Vihaan opened the door with his heart beating rapidly wondering why his sister was at his door step in the middle of the night and why she was crying, Lavanya didn't say a word but just rushed into his arms sobbing.
