Letter #11
Dear Agony,
I can't handle your sarcasm right now. I just told you I killed an entire fifty six people in one sitting, and all you can do is spew sarky comments? Maybe I made a mistake in choosing you to confess everything too.
I know all of their names.
The woman working at the front desk was called Sandy, and had a three year old boy at home whose father long abandoned them both. The man impatiently tapping his foot, casting glances at his watch as the queue trickled forward was called Dean. He left behind a mother and a disabled sister who adored Dean more than anything. The mother begging her child to be quiet was called Charlotte, and her son was called Lewis. They were just looking to withdraw the few savings they did to pay for her wife's life saving surgery.
I killed men, women and children.
They all had families and lives to go back to. Not only did I kill them, but I killed their families to, with the crippling pain of grief.
I'm sure you can guess what happened after I killed them - more police came, they didn't last long - and once again I was alone in a red bank shaking. I didn't dare move a single inch for fear of stepping in a puddle of blood. It was only when I heard the crackle of the police radio demand an answer from them that I ran. I ran as far as I could, not even bothering to raid the money out of the safes.
I've never gone into hiding, and I knew it was highly likely that I'd be found immediately. What I was shocked at was when I'd ducked into an alley, I saw red, white and blue stripes from the corner of my eye. I spun around, finding THE Captain America standing behind me. I'd always loved him, idolised him and collected all of the trading cards. So when I saw America's one true hero I couldn't help but squeal a little inside. My excitement was cut short when the rest of the Avengers poesy sauntered out, wielding their weapons of mass destruction.
The shadows again hissed at me, curling themselves around my body like a blanket, commanding me to kill them. I knew I was weak; I'd succumb to the darkness.
Fortunately the Avengers were stronger, and within minutes my unconscious body was falling to the ground. I was going to prison.
From,
Aaron.
P.S You better tell me something or I swear to God I'll release these shadows on your ass.
