Forty: boyfriend and formality
Emma's P.O.V:
Walking out of class in the direction of my locker I don't seem to spot neither Scott nor Stiles. I wonder what they are up to.
After last night events I feel a lot more happy and peaceful.
"Emma, wait!" I turn around to see Danny catching up with me.
"Hey, Danny! What's up?" I smile at him, we aren't really close friends but everyone loves Danny. And I'm everyone, too.
"Oh, you know, I feel like we haven't talked in ages." He shrugs as we keep walking.
"I know, right? I've been...busy, yeah."
"So, how's everything going?" he asks, a bit suspicious. "With your boyfriend, I mean."
"I-Stiles?" I stutter. "He's not my boyfriend...yet." I feel awkward telling this to Danny but I somehow know he wouldn't judge me.
"Mmh, sure he isn't," he smirks, softly colliding his hip with mine. "See you around, Lee."
"You're a weird one, Danny boy!" I call after him and he just laughs.
That was odd. I open my locker and find a note on it. Are we in seventh grade again?
I put my books into place before reading the note.
"Meet me at the parking lot.
Stiles."
I close my locker, willing to get to the parking lot as soon as possible. I don't even have time to think about it twice, the desire of being with him is stronger.
I find him leaning against his jeep, arms crossed. His face lights up when he sees me and I feel my heart skipping a bit because he's that handsome. "Hey," I greet him.
"Hey," he says back, taking my waist and pulling me closer. "Would you skip class with me? There's this place I want to show you."
"You know that our parents are the main authority in this town, right? I mean, they can get us to jail if they find out." I try to be logical, although I really want to scape with him.
"They won't," he assures me and that's enough for me to jump in the car with him.
He puts another Snicker in my lap while he drives away.
"May I ask where are we going?"
Stiles looks at me and smiles brightly. "Just somewhere we can be alone for a while."
We drive for about fifteen minutes, laughing and smiling most of it, listening to my favourite band. It's pretty easy to talk to Stiles and I love the fact that we have this strong connection. As I stare at him while he laughs, I can't help but notice how fast I fell for him, even if it was for the wrong intention.
"We're here," he claims, stopping the car in the middle of the woods. We're near a river, the trees growing infinite above us. I've never been in this part of the woods before.
I meet him outside, and I take his free hand; he's holding a jacket in the other. We walk in silence towards the river, simply enjoying each other's presence.
We reach a tree that looks like it's going to fall into the river any minute, but when Stiles grabs me by the waist and press me against it, I realize it's pretty solid. He kisses me slowly, no words spoken, no reason to do it.
I sneak my hands around his neck and pull him closer to me, breaking the kiss just the necessary to breathe again.
He's practically all over me, but I really couldn't care less; he kisses me so delicate, hard and lustful at the same time that a mix of emotions is growing inside me. I love him; I want him.
"Emma." He abruptly stops, steading his breath. "I need to tell you something."
"Go ahead," I smile, cupping his face in my hands, not wanting to ever let go of him.
He has one hand wrapped around my waist and the other is supporting himself on the tree behind me.
"I love you," he blurts.
"I know-"
"No, you don't," he interrupts me. "I love you so much, and I never meant for this to happen. I only wanted some help, you know? I wanted to feel that for once, I'm not alone. That's all I ever wanted. But things turned out this way and I couldn't be happier, okay? You're all I want right now, you don't have any idea of how much you mean to me. You make me a better person, you make me feel and think things I've never felt or thought before. I love you."
I get out of his grip, taking a few steps away from the river, completely speechless. I feel like crying, no one had ever told me such a thing before.
Too late, I actually start crying.
"Shit, Emma, are you okay?" Stiles approaches me. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry, I just, shit, sorry," he says and I just shake my head.
"That was the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me," I manage to say, wiping my tears away. He just smiles bigger, lightly kissing every inch of my face. "I love you, Stiles; you have no idea."
I hate being this girly and cliché, but I really can't help it.
"I got these for you," he says looking into his pockets, holding up two tickets to the formal. "I know they aren't flowers or a ring, even though I should have got you flowers and a ring instead because I know you hate formals, dammit." He traps into his own words and I laugh at how cute he is being. "But, would you please go with me? I want everyone to see I have the most stunning girlfriend ever."
"Wait." I smile again, taking the tickets from his hands. "Are you seriously asking me to be your girlfriend?"
I'm waiting for him to laugh at my face and tell me 'what the hell, no' but when he just nods, I jump into his arms once again and kiss the hell out of him.
Never in a million years would I have thought I'd fell for Stiles Stilinski. Yet, here I am, making out with him in the middle of the woods. He's just an amazing kisser.
We go back to his car, sitting in the backseats. I sit on his lap and we kiss yet again like there's not tomorrow. He lays me down eventually, positioning himself on top of me.
"Aren't you happy?" I ask him. "We're finally having a moment with no interruptions."
He laughs, his voice low, kissing my jawline ever so slowly. "I'm more than happy."
I look at him in the eyes, full of lust and desire. "It won't happen today," he admits, attaching our swallowed lips once again. "I want it to be special."
"Me too," I admit. "But that doesn't mean I can't get a sneak peak?" I joke and we both laugh.
"What do you exactly want to see you nasty girl?" he raises an eyebrow, placing one hand in the window of his tiny car.
"Whatever you want to show me, Stilinski," I wink an eye as we keep laughing.
"So you think I'm like your personal stripper or something?"
That makes me laugh even harder. "You idiot!" I kiss the top of his nose as he gives me room to sit up again.
"Let's get out of here, yeah?" he proposes and we go back to the driver/passenger seats.
"Holy fuck!" I swear in the middle of the way back. "I don't have a dress!"
"I got that covered, calm down," Stiles laughs, placing a hand on my thigh.
"Thank you for a perfect day." I smile at him.
He slows down a little, taking a curve. "Let's take the long way home, shall we?"
"Definitely."
