-Soarin Skys POV-

I ran and ran after Rainbow Dash who, somehow, was even faster now than the night we first met.

I saw her duck into an alleyway way up ahead and continued to run no sure if she was trying to lose me or didn't know I followed her in the first place.

When I found her she was just about to cut her arms with a sharp piece of wood she must have found so I dove in and grabbed the wood before it could touch her arm. “Rainbow, don't. You don't deserve to be torchered like this.”

“Oh sure. You want to make sure you new pleasure toy is safe. I know what famous people like you are like. You stick with a girl till you get bored then you dump her and look for someone else to play with.”

I felt a stab in my heart since she said the very things that started to get me in depression in the first place. Before my mother disappeared I felt like the fame would change me and I swore to never be like that. But somehow, Rainbow was changing matters.

I knew that this might be the only way to help her, but if my act gets exposed, it'll ruin everything and possibly make it worse.

“Rainbow, I'm not like that. Not every rich person is a self absorbed snob that doesn't care about anyone but themselves. I've seen those kinds of people and swore I wouldn't be like them. And I can see that Trixie is just a spoiled rich girl that likes to put others down. While you're a girl that tries no matter what happens. But you need to keep trying. Your friends won't be the only people who suffer if your gone. Please. Stay with us.”

She just looked down avoiding eye contact. I remembered how for I time I lost the ability to feel emotion since the body was sick of feeling pain. She was numb. Not being able to feel pain nor joy. Sadness or happiness. Nothing. I felt like I should try to get some sort of emotion out of her.

A took a silent deep breath before putting my hand under her chin and raised her head to face mine. I'd need to make this perfect. To show that I cared for her but was also willing to let her take it at her pace and I'd stay behind if she wanted. I looked deep in her eyes failing to get any emotion and hoped this would bring some out.

I went in and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. I made sure it wasn't too forced but still shows that I wanted this. I felt her tense and was partially relieved that she wasn't as far in so that her emotions were completely gone. But I hoped that she would never get to that point.

I pulled away and Rainbow looked at me and I could now get a hint of surprise in her eyes, “Soarin… w- why…”

I put a finger to her lips and got lost in her eyes again. “Rainbow. It doesn't matter what Trixie or anyone else thinks. You should know that you're special, unique and Awesome. Your parents and friends love you with all their hearts and want what's best for you. And when I see you, I see an Awesome, smart, virtuous, incredible, and most of all, beautiful girl that deserves to be in the spotlight.”

I saw a light blush in her cheeks and I knew that I had the effect I hoped I'd have. “Come on princess. Your first official photo shoot is in a couple of days and Rarity might need your measurements again. It'll need to look perfect on you after all. But that shouldn't be to hard.”

I stood up and offered my hand to her to help her up. She took it and we walked to the boutique Rarity owned. I kept my eyes on her. She really was beautiful. I hope this thing as my Business Partner will help her to see that.
