Lolla woke up with a hangover.

She went to some party to sell stuff for Barry and ended up getting drunk, again. Who can blame her though, that is what teenage years are about right?

Lolla put her hand out onto her bedside table, trying desperately to find her phone. She didn't find it, but she did find a little plastic packet with cocaine inside of it.

She immediately opened her eyes and stood up when she realized what she was holding onto. She formed three lines on her bedside table and snorted all of them.

Because she had just woke up, and na she she was hungover, the drug hit her more then normal, so she lied down on her bed.

Lolla started burning up, she also felt this huge feeling of euphoria and her heart beat started to accelerate. It was like she entered another dimension.

She felt like she was on one of those carnival rides that spin around and leave you sick for the next days. She felt like she was at peace.

She found her phone after a few minutes, which was under her pillow, and decided to ask John B to hang out, since they hadn't really in the past few weeks. And she missed him.

"Hello?" John answered in a raspy voice, hinting that he had also just woke up.

"Are you home right now?" She asked him

"Yes why are you-" he replied but got interrupted

"I'm coming over in 10 I hope you don't have plans" she said and hung up, not leaving him any time to speak.

"Jesus Christ this place looks like shit" Lolla commented

"Come on its not that bad"

"It's not that bad yea right, it's horrible" she responded while picking up empty beer cans.

John B groaned while standing up from the couch where he was laying. He hadn't slept a lot since he was also at the party Lolla was in last night.

While picking up trash from the counter top, Lolla accidentally dropped some picture frames. When she bent down to pick them up she noticed something.

One was a standard picture of John B with his friends, but the other was a picture of the both of them as toddlers, with chocolate ice cream all over their faces. They were fighting over the ice cream cone.

Lolla got emotional, so she stood up and hugged her best friend. He was a bit shocked but hugged her back. She felt horrible about leaving him alone all those years ago. She felt horrible for not reaching out. She would have been crushed if she was in his place. She hated herself for abandoning him.

"I'm so sorry" she managed to sob out.

John B held onto her tightly still unaware of what she was crying about.

"I can't believe I left you alone all those years ago. I'm so sorry John."

She was staining his white shirt with tears but neither of them cared. They grew up together. They're were with each other through thick and thin, that was until Lolla moved away.

He had to face the death of his father alone. When he found out he wished Lolla was there. She was always so good at comforting people.

John B was crushed when she left. He felt betrayed but he knew that if she had a choice, she would have stayed with him. He knew that she would chose him. He knew how much she loved him.

"You didn't have a choice" he slightly whispered a tear streaming down his cheek.

"I promise you John B I will never leave you again. Never." she sniffed

"I know you won't." He said holding back tears. "Hey let's not get all sad now. We will take out the boat and go for a swim alright? Just the two of us. How does that sound?"

Lolla looked up at him, grateful at how understanding he was "It sounds amazing."

Lolla was laying in the front side of the boat while John B was driving it. She was drinking beer and so was he.

That was until they spotted a boat in the distance, an expensive one too.

It was Toppers. They recognized it immediately.

Lolla removed the sunglasses off her eyes to take a closer look at the boat, she noticed that except from Topper, Sarah and Kelce, Rafe was also sitting inside the boat, but he wasn't sitting alone.

Some girl was sitting on his lap, laughing at his jokes. The best way to describe her appearance is that she looked like a skankier version of Lolla. They had the same hair and same color eyes but the girl was uglier.

While approaching, Rafe turned his head and made eye contact with Lolla. Lolla was disappointed and hurt. She should have known not to share her deepest secret with Rafe fucking Cameron, Outer Banks biggest slut.

Rafe could see through her eyes that she was hurt, but she tried to hide it. Why was he feeling bad for her? Why did he care about her?

Rafe grabbed the girls face and kissed her, while Lolla was watching him.

Lolla could feel physical pain in her chest. Some tears started forming in her eyes but she hid them with her big pair of sunglasses so no one saw.

"Look who it is!" Topper yelled as the boat was reaching closer

"Lolla hey!" Kelce jumped from his seat, which made it obvious that he had some sort of attraction to the girl.

"Hey boys" she smirked sitting up. "Hey Sarah" she told the blonde girl who was making eye contact with John B. Sarah just waved back at her with a smile.

"So uh, will you be at the party tonight?" Kelce nervously asked considering it was his party.

"Only if you are there Kelce" she immediately saw Rafes jaw tighten at her comment. "Who am I kidding it's your party of course you'll be there, yea I wouldn't miss it" she smiled and looked back at her best friend who looked visibly uncomfortable at the sight of Topper hugging Sarah. "We gotta go see you guys later" she waved goodbye before driving off.

She did look back through, and Rafe Cameron was staring directly at her. She rolled her eyes and looked back at her best friend.

"What's going on with you and Sarah?" she asked

"What's going on with you and Rafe?" he asked back.

She rolled her eyes, he always knew how to read her. "I asked first"

"We have been seeing each other" he bluntly said.

"Was that before or after she was with Topper?"

"During" he said causing her to scoff loudly. "Your not one to talk did Rafe happen before or after JJ?"

"First of all me and JJ never went exclusive and secondly it just happened I don't know and I really thought it could go somewhere"

"Am I hallucinating or didn't you see him sucking that random girls face two minutes ago? That isn't really going somewhere Lo"

Lolla groaned and put her hands in front of her face "Ugh I know you don't have to remind me. That is officially over"

"Good because JJ hasn't stopped talking about you since the party. You really have him obsessed"

"Are you guys coming to the party tonight?"

"A kook party? Come on they will kick us out before we even step foot into Kelces house"

"Not if I'm there. Come on you will come and you will bring JJ"

"If you say so" John B said defeated

"Your the best" she squealed before standing up and hugging him

"I know I am"
