Chapter 13
"This is a nice hotel" Cas said dropping his bag on the floor next to the bed.
"Yeah, I've never been here. I'm used to fleabag motels, It's kind of weird." Dean smiled and sat on the bed and felt the white pillows, "It's nice though."
Cas pulled off his trench coat and stood in front of Dean. "We don't have much time," He leaned into Dean and kissed him hard, throwing them both back on the bed. Cas pulled apart, "We have to keep this very 'low key'" He said adding air quotes to the word he just learned.
Dean rolled over onto Cas and kissed him hard, like it was all he wanted, actually, it was all he wanted. He took advantage of the opportunity, trying to be fast, but intimate. He bit at Cas' neck and lips as he undid his pants.
There was a knock on the door. "What the actual fuck man." Dean groaned and got up and walked to the door and checked the peephole while Cas fixed his pants.
Dean opened the door to reveal a basket with a jar of a thick, dark red substance, and a knife. It didn't look like a normal knife, the entire thing was silver and shiny and the base was round, but it narrowed out to a point.
"What the hell is this," he brought the basket inside and closed the door with his foot. He set the basket on the desk the tv was on and grabbed the things out of it. "What the fuck even is this, it looks like some devil worshiping shit," He laughed holding them up to Cas.
Cas jumped and ran to the desk "Dean, this is an angel blade," he examined the jar and opened the lid, "and I believe this is.... Blood."
"You mean like from a sheep or something, right?"
"No, it's human blood."
"Aw that's just sick," Dean furrowed his eyebrows and put the back of his hand over his mouth, as if he had a weak stomach, "what's up with the blood donation and knife from heaven." He was trying not to show how freaked out he really was.
"There's a note," Cas squinted his eyes in a questioning look then a small smile appeared on his face, "It's from my brother Gabriel, it says 'Hey little bro be careful.' He's the only one that called me his 'little bro', besides Lucifer, but he's in the cage, and it was more in a teasing way."
"Lucifer? Like the devil, the actual devil is your brother?" Dean was getting more and more weirded out by the situation.
"Yes Dean, Lucifer is an archangel, why must you take so long to comprehend this?" Cas put the angel blade in his trench coat and went to look out the window.
Dean studied the jar trying not to think about who it came from. "So what's with the vampire shake?"
"There are symbols you can draw to vanish angels, but it needs to be done in human blood, and it doesn't last very long."
"Wouldn't it vanish you too?" Dean squinted his eyes into a worried look
"Yes, but I'm assuming it's for you, Dean lay on the bed," Cas got a towel out of the bathroom and handed it to Dean, "bite on this."
"Woah Cas I wasn't expecting this." Dean laughed and did as he was told.
"I'm going to mark your ribs." Cas put his hand over Dean's ribs and reached into his chest. Dean screamed and arched his back, moving his legs and biting down on the towel as hard as he could. The pain made Dean black out, Cas just stood over him, holding his hand over Dean's heart.
When Dean woke up a few moments later, he was confused. His chest didn't hurt anymore and Cas seemed jumpy. He was still a little confused on what just happen.
"Dean, are you okay? Is the pain still there?" He looked into Dean's eyes, Cas didn't like the fact that he had to hurt Dean.
"I'm good Cas, it only hurt like hell for a minute." Dean sat up and felt his ribs, "So what was it that you did to me?"
"I marked your ribs in Enochian, it's so angels won't be able to find you."
"Enochian? And if angels won't be able to find me, doesn't that mean you can't find me?" Dean was back to his worried face.
"Enochian is a language angels know, and I have a cell phone, if we happen to get split up we can call each other." Cas pulled out a flip phone from his pocket. " I can also put angel wardings where we stay so angels won't be able to get in."
"Way to live in the 90's Cas." Dean laughed as he took the phone from Cas and inserted his number. "These wardings, they have to be in blood too?"
"Most of them, yes," Cas took his phone back from Dean and put it back in his pocket quickly, as if to be ashamed of it.
Dean sat back on the bed and adjusted the pillows so he could lay with his feet off the bed, "Sooo.. won't we run out eventually?"
Cas walked closer to the bed, "Yes, fairly quickly I'm assuming, but we can get more."
"From me right?" Dean sat up a little to look at Cas.
"Well yes, that would be easiest. I do not want you to be in pain though, perhaps we could find a different way." Cas walked to the edge of the bed, right in between Dean's legs.
"I don't mind the pain angel eyes," Dean had his devious grin back on his face. He wrapped his legs around Cas and forcefully brought him down on him. Cas was shocked, but at the same time it was what he had been wanting. He kissed him hard and rough removing his trench coat quickly.
