Gupta Sadan:
"Khushi had got emotional! Missing Gupta Uncle. So we decided to tie the knot in court, in a simple way." Arnav gave the not-so-credible excuse of skipping the marriage, to the audience...everyone trying to believe it.
Aman and Lavanya had completed all the rituals, Anjali and Shyam doing the kanyaadaan. While the pleasantries were exchanged, Raizadas and Mathurs busy with guests.
"Are you done? Leave my hand now!" Khushi said gritting her teeth.
"Wifey...when an Indian Man holds a woman's hand, he never leaves it." He said cheesily making her more angry over his corny dialogue.
After two more hours, most of the guests had gone back having their dinners, only close family members remaining.
"Anjali beta, are all the preparations of Bidaai done?" Nani asked.
"Haan Nani, but Khushiji is getting ready. She is upstairs!" Anjali informed.
When Arnav came back, seeing off the important business partners to the door, he heard his sister, knowing very well what was to happen next.
"Buaji, you take Lavanya and Aman to home! Mathurs have been waiting since a long time."
As Lavanya's car left the premises of Gupta Sadan, there were only Raizadas left.

Khushi was strolling in her room.
She was sent here to get ready for the god-damned Bidaai.
But why would she leave her father's home just because she got married?
Living with HIM under one roof was never going to happen.
[whenever she says 'NEVER', it happens for sure 🙄😝]
That's when someone knocked at her door.
'Must be HP!'
She had asked for a black coffee. As the door opened, she found two cup of coffees brought by Arnav himself.
"Have you started the part-time job of house helper?" She passed the taunt.
"No wifey, just practicing to be Ghar Jamai!" He locked the door from inside.
"What? And why are you locking the door?" She was panicked.
"Come on wifey. A married couple should always lock their bedroom doors when they are alone in their room!"
"It's not your room, and stop calling me that!"
"Ok, then I will call you Biwi. That will be cool." He sat on the couch, putting his legs on the table one above other.
"Just get your legs down and get lost from my room!"
"Look Biwi, you have two options. Either come with me to my newly-bought penthouse or..."
"Or?" She was going restless to hear.
"Or I will start living here. Let the world call me Ghar Jamai. But how can I leave my beautiful Biwi all alone here." He took the first sip...continuing his act. "I'll also ask Di and Jeejaji to move here. Di is pregnant, she needs rest and care from all of us. Nani, Mamaji and Mami will also shift."
"No way! It's my house...." Her sentence remained incomplete as Arnav cut her.
"Our house, Biwi! Now-on everything will be shared by us." He was enjoying her discomfort. "Now Nani can't live without Lakshmi. Chintu will also bring his things from hostel. Poor boy was fed up by mess food!"
His drama might go on but then Khushi spoke suddenly.
"Now who are Lakshmi and Chintu?" She was horrified, while Arnav was enjoying her expressions.
"You don't know Chintu? Mamaji's only son! The one who was playing cricket in your study!"
No way Khushi was going to get that naughty brat in her home.
"And Lakshmi is the pet goat of Naniji! She will be pleased to see our lawns. So much greenery and leafy foliage!!!"
"Oh no!! Never!!!"
She could imagine Lakshmi feasting her plants merrily and Chintu breaking all the glass windows.
"You have married me forcefully, but I won't let you encroach upon my home. What do you think of yourself? I will call the police!!" She was all worked up...blabbering while strolling from one corner to other.
Arnav couldn't suppress his smile. The world famous KKG, known for her anger was behaving so immature and funny.
"But, Police will ask you why you are not in your husband's home!!" Arnav stood up, going towards her....explaining to her.
"Well I have the first option still open- To come with me! Our penthouse is not big enough to accommodate all of them. So there will be only two of us!!! No one else. Only Shanti and Aman!"
"Huh?"
'Now who is Shanti and why will Aman be there?'
"I mean to say, shanti means tranquility and aman means peace!"
Khushi took a sigh of relief, contemplating, what to do. She could solve any business problem easily. But the Raizada family was full of crazy people. All emotional, religious, traditional!!!
It's better if she go with Arnav.
'Later I can come back here after the divorce.'
._._._.
Khushi came down wearing the traditional beige Khandani saree of Raizadas, handed over by his Nani, all get up as the bride.
Arnav was successful in tricking her to come to her Sasural. What to do when his Nani was particular about the rituals.
'She has that innocence of Lavanya from inside. Except a hard facade she puts of cruelty!' Arnav had thought about his wife.
"HP, put that luggage in the car!" Arnav asked him.
The Prakashas except HP, were all sad since their Lavi Didi had gone and now Madamji too was going. Well HP was to be taken by Khushi in her dowry. He was loyal and very well aware of her habits.
So...
Khushi had never thought that she would ever cry, while going away from the Gupta Sadan.
But as soon as she stepped out of the house, throwing a handful of rice mixed with coins and flowers over her head three times, all the memories from childhood erupting.
Tears brimming her eyes, she tried to control herself...as Arnav took her palm in his hand, she finding solace in him unconsciously.
She didn't have the courage to look behind as the cars zoomed away leaving behind a quite and silent Gupta Sadan, fairy lights blinking all over.😢

Up Above The Sky
"Why are you crying Shashi? Nothing has changed! We are already dead, away from them!!"
"It's a father's feelings. You won't understand."
Garima rolled her eyes, when she heard the rhythm-less voice of her husband:
'Tere paun ke tale....
Meri dua chale...
dua Meri chale.
Mud ke na dekho Dilbaro...'
The same song to entertain you guys😉
