Part 18 Rescue

Arnav rushed out, leaving everything behind. Aman followed him while talking to Khushi on the phone.

"Khushi don't cut the call. Stay on the line. Be safe. Hide somewhere... WE are coming..." Aman said.

"There is no place to hide sir"

Arnav saw Akash talking on the phone, sitting on his bike. Undoubtedly he was talking to Payal.

"Akash, give me your bike" Arnav shouted while rushing towards him.

"Yes, sir" he jumped down from his bike.

Arnav stuffed his car key in his hand.

"Call the police and send them to the Daffodil Resort. You come to the Daffodil Resort in my car... quick" Saying that to Akash. Arnav kicked the bike and moved. Aman hopped behind him and Arnav geared it up.

Akash stood with confusion. Why should he send the police to the Resort? What reason would he tell the police? However, he should call the police as it was ASR's order.

"Payal, I will call you later" he disconnected the call and dialed 100.

The call was attended.

"Sir, I'm Akash, Arnav Singh Raizada's PA. I heard something illegal is happening in the Daffodil Resort. Please take action, sir" He disconnected the call and walked to Arnav's car to go to the Daffodil Resort.

Daffodil Resort

"Khushiiii... why do you bring me here? Nhikil would have been searching for me..." Lavanya shouted.

"Shhhhh.... Don't shout" Khushi closed her mouth, looking here and there.

She saw a few men searching for them. She stood sticking behind the bushy plant hiding well but Lavanya tried to remove her hand from her mouth.

"Lavanya please, be quiet... they will see us" Khushi pleaded but Lavanya was not in the sense to listen to her.

Aman who was hearing their talks through phone told Arnav about it.

"ASR, Lavanya is troubling Khushi a lot, losing her sense I suppose. If she is not controlled, they will get caught" Aman said nervously.

Arnav thought about what to do. At the same time, Aman heard Lavanya moaning.

"What happened Khushi?" Aman asked.

"I'm sorry, sir. I hit her head with a stone and made her unconscious. I have no choice, sir. Or, else, they will catch us" Khushi said feeling sad.

"You have done a good job, Khushi... very good. Be careful" Aman literally appreciated her timing sense.

"Yeah... I will send my live location to you, sir"

"Ok... but don't cut the call..."

"Ok, sir,"

Khushi sent him her live location, looking at the men cautiously. They were moving towards them searching behind the plants one by one. Khushi caught hold of her breath. They would soon come to them.

Arnav was riding the bike without caring about anything. Thank god, he took Akash's bike. That was why he was not stuck in the traffic.

Khushi's mind sparked with an idea. Taking a stone, Khushi throws it in the opposite direction. One of the men heard the sound and shouted.

"Someone is there"

All of them rushed in the opposite direction. Khushi huffed in relief. She checked her mobile and saw Aman nearing the Daffodil Resort. Within ten minutes, he would reach the resort. She prayed DM to send him soon.

That was when the buffalo received a call from Nikhil.

"Have you done? Why have not you sent me the video yet?"

"Sir, she is not here," the buffalo said hesitatingly.

"Not there means?" Nikhil shouted.

"She is missing, sir"

"Whaaat? What the hell are you doing?"

"Searching for her sir"

"I spiked her drink. She would not have gone anywhere... search her. I'm coming" Nikhil disconnected the call.

Khushi heard the buffalo shouting,

"Make it fast, we have to find her. Nikhil sir is coming. He will kill us..."

Khushi gulped down. She didn't know what was Aman's plan. She didn't think Aman alone could handle those buffaloes. She didn't notice Aman saying, 'WE are coming'. She made up herself. Taking a big stone, she put it in her bag and kept it ready to attack them. She didn't want them to see Lavanya. So she decided to divert them.

She slowly peeped from behind the plant and made sure no one saw her. She came out of the plant and walked casually.

One of the buffaloes saw her.

"Hey, who are you?" he asked.

"Who are you to question me? I have not seen you here before..." She said with attitude.

"I'm a security..."

"Oh, really? Do you know who am I?"

"Who?" he frowned.

"I'm one of the partners of this resort. Trivedi is my friend" She managed with the Resort owner's name as she noticed it on the board at the entrance.

"But, what are you doing here ma'am?"

"Don't ask me that... my friends are so useless... they invited me to the party and made me wait"

"You can wait inside the hall..."

"I'm bored of waiting you know. That's why I came out to get fresh air. By the way, I know you are not a security here. What are you doing here?"

"I'm searching for my sister"

"Sister? What is she doing here?"

"She came here for a party"

"Then you should have searched for her in the hall..."

"Her friend said, she left the party but she has not come home yet"

"Oh... then why are you wasting your time...? Go and search for her. There are rogues roaming around this Resort like crazy DOGS... be careful" she said.

As she didn't expect, he pulled Khushi towards him.

"What are you doing?" Khushi shouted.

"You are the partner of this Resort? It's my Boss..." he said making his horrible face more horrible.

In no time, Khushi rotated her bag and hit his head. The stone in the bag gave him a strong DOSE. He shouted in pain that dragged other's attention. Khushi again hit his head and he fell to the ground. She stood keeping her bag ready to hit others. They ran towards her to pounce on her. She tackled them and hit two more buffaloes but the third one clutched her bag and pulled it forcefully. Khushi left the bag and the buffalo who pulled it fell to the ground, losing his balance. In no time, others surrounded Khushi.

Khushi's mind worked faster. She looked behind them and smiled.

"Thank God, you came..." She smiled brightly.

All of them looked in that direction. Using the chance, Khushi pushed them and ran. They chased her. Khushi was horrified, seeing Nikhil coming towards her. She didn't know what to do as she was trapped in between them. Turning to her left side, she ran towards the main entrance of the resort.

At the same time, Arnav and Aman entered the resort. They saw Khushi being chased by a few men and Nikhil. Arnav and Aman jumped off the bike and rushed to her. One of the buffaloes threw a stone at her.

"Khushiiiiiii" Arnav shouted but he was late, the stone hit her shoulder.

"Ahhhh...." Khushi was about to fall to the ground, but Arnav held her, looking at those buffaloes furiously. Nikhil was shocked to see Arnav there.

Khushi stood panting hard. She looked exhausted.

Arnav pounced on Nikhil and punched his face non-stop. The buffaloes tried to stop him. Aman pushed two of them whereas Khushi searched for something to hit them. She saw the water pipe with a metal edge. Taking it, she started hitting them.

That was when the Police reached the Resort. The buffaloes ran away from there. Nikhil tried to push Arnav to run but he didn't let him. He clutched his collar and punched him hard.

"What's happening here?" the inspector asked.

"Sir, he is hitting me," Nikhil said.

"He spiked my sister's drink and tried to misbehave with her. That's why I hit him" Arnav said, pushing him to the police.

Two constables held him on either side.

"Who is your sister?" The inspector asked.

"She is there," Khushi said, showing her finger toward the place where she hid Lavanya.

Arnav and Aman hurried to the place with the inspector. They came to Lavanya and Arnav tapped her cheek. Lavanya opened her eyes and again closed them.

"She is in a semiconscious state," Aman said.

Arnav lifted her and made her walk. She walked swaying, leaning on his shoulder. They saw Khushi standing leaning on the wall, all exhausted.

Aman was supposed to go to her, but, Arnav made Lavanya lean on Aman's shoulder and rushed to Khushi, making him bewildered.

"Khushi, are you alright? Do you feel pain?" He asked touching her shoulder where the stone hit. He felt a swell there.

"I'm alright," She said.

The police took Nikhil with them. He went throwing an angry look at Arnav and Khushi.

"Let's go" Circling her shoulder, Arnav tried to walk with Khushi.

"It's ok" She removed his hand from her shoulder, making him stuck.

"I just..."

"How is Lavanya?"

They saw Aman coming with Lavanya. At the same time, Akash got down from Arnav's car. Aman and Arnav made Lavanya lay in the back seat.

They saw Khushi heading to her two-wheeler.

"Khushi, wait..." Arnav ran to her.

"Where are you going?"

"To my home"

"I will drop you"

"No, thanks... I will go by my bike"

"How could you go? You look exhausted"

"That's ok, I can't leave my bike here..."

"Khushi, how could we send you alone?" Aman asked.

"No problem sir. I will call my father if needed"

"I will come with you. Give me your bike key"

She removed it from her suit pocket and gave it to Aman, making Arnav disappointed.

"ASR, I will go with Khushi. You take Lavanya home" Saying Aman walked with Khushi.

Arnav stood, looking at their retreating figure with mixed feelings.
