Sometimes in life you'll meet certain people who'll let you down just to teach you not to depend on anyone but Allah swt because Allah swt puts people in your life for a reason and removes them from your life for a  reason as well
Therefore we should build our dependence on Allah swt than building it on people because people can choose to leave us at any moment because they're just as weak as we're and might've their own struggles and lack of a supportive pillar to rely on themselves
But only we can choose to leave Allah swt because He is ever present and is there for those who need and seek Him with a sincere Heart

"...Rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]." [Quran 3: 159]
"...And whoever relies upon Allah — then He is sufficient for him." [Quran 65: 3]
