Whoever a calamity strikes should take a step back from their difficult situation and think about it from a higher level or a different angle and ponder and contemplate upon the the Quran and the sunnah of Rasulullah (S.A.W) since Alhamdulillah we are blessed to have the privilege of getting instructions from Allah swt and the life of our beloved prophet (S.A.W) therefore take step back from your life with all its worries, anxieties, problems and think in depth about it from Akhira perspective, then ask yourself the questions , what does this hardship define when compared to the Hereafter? What does it mean when compared to eternity in Jannah? Henceforth never rush to make any sort of decision for you know Allah will never test you beyond your ability to bear and You should know that a Test from Allah is even a blessing as it expiates sins

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There is no Muslim who is afflicted with pain as much as the prick of a thorn or more but that Allah will expiate his sins just as leaves fall from a tree."
