When someone harms you even if it's deep wound forgive them even if it breaks your heart just forgive them and forgiving them doesn't mean you're weak nor are you forgiving them for their sake but rather for the sake of Allah swt as a sign of gratitude to Allah AWJ for making you the victim rather than the  wrongdoer because there really is no crime in being a victim but rather it cultivates closeness to Allah swt and as for the wrongdoer he/she will have to face Allah swt on the day of judgment so in reality they're the victims of their own wrongdoings

Adopt forgiveness and instruct what's right and ignore the foolish (7;199)
