So for a tree to grow properly its root has to be doing its specific job and has to be firm because without the roots of the tree ( the essential elements of the roots such like the soil, minerals and so on) the tree would break down and there would be nothing that holds the tree up similarly so is our own existence, one of the many reasons why many of us aren't growing properly functionality wise the way we should or the reason why we're breaking down frequently due to depression, anxiety and the likes is genuinely because our roots aren't doing the very specific job and not firm as well but do we really know what the root of a person is to begin with ? it's the soul and it's Islam that nourishes the soul, Just like there are so many elements in the roots of a tree that nourishes the tree otherwise the tree wouldn't be a tree without the roots, likewise we wouldn't be anything without the soul but unfortunately many of us focus so much on our bodies not realizing it's the soul that keeps us alive, literally the soul and the body go hand in hand therefore If one is neglected- the soul, it can literally be seen in the body for instance If one of the elements of the roots of a tree was neglected it would show in the tree , the leaves will start to lose color so without feeding our souls what it needs to be alive we won't grow properly without every so often breaking down and having countless issues because one of the very reason why we see so many mental or emotional disorders and many other problems in the Ummah is because We neglect the very thing that makes us whole SubhanAllah .
