"Whyyy...!! Why does this have to happennn...?! How could i possibly know which one's right?!

"I can't do ittt!! I can't fire these things!!"

" *Sniff......?! Oww...!! W-what?! The collar's...tightening-?!"

"Pull the left trigger." A voice said from behind.

Her eyes widened in fear. Thinking that the person was extremely capable of harming her, she tried to pull the trigger but her mind was engulfed with thoughts of doubt resulting with her freezing as the collar continues to tighten around her fragile neck.

Sighing, the person behind her reached up to the gun on her left hand and...

*BANG

A deafening ring reached her ears, making her drop both guns and cover her ears.

The gunshot rang through the room, the woman, knowing well that she did not pull the trigger looked behind her but only to find herself alone.

Confusion turned to relief as she staggered and left the room.

Little did she know, that one of the guns was no where to be found.

"Nooo...!! What is this...?!"

"I can't move!! My legs...!!"

"20 seconds until the end of the first trial." A robotic voice announced.

"Who?! Why are you doing this to me?!"

As the girl kept yelling, she failed to notice a small glint behind her in the darkness. Strange enough, a person picked it up and walked towards the girl, out of sight of the camera.

"I've had it with this!! This trial stuff...I don't get it!!"

"Mom!! Dad!! Somebodyyy!!"

"Help-"

The restrains that held the girl's legs in place suddenly opened as the terrifying blades retracted back in it's place.

The frightened girl looked down and saw a key just a few inches away from her feet.

It was the key to her escape and was originally supposed to be used by her, but she couldn't care less as she was still in the room.

She hurriedly ran out and was met with darkness as air came from below...or so she thought.

"Ah...What is this...?"

"It's too dark to see-"

The boy bumped into a wall making him reach up to his face. An audible click came from behind making him turn around and be met with a light shining down on a table.

With nothing else to do, he cautiously walked over to it and was immediately intrigued when he saw what was on the table.

On the right side of the table laid a seemingly fragile string labeled as "The web of happiness" On the left, was a paper with "ESCAPE!" written in ink.

The boy cautiously looked behind him, as if expecting something to pop out from behind him. But nothing happened...yet anyway.

Fully aware that one of the items will make him face his fate, he hesitantly reached for the string before changing his mind and took the paper.

As if on cue, a sound behind him can be heard. A loud whirring sound caught the boy's ears making him turn around and got met with a gun.

He was suddenly tackled to the ground on his stomach as a bullet flew past him and hit the wall, making a visible dent.

"No way..." The boy said, his voice quivering as he turned around. The light from before was gone and the sound of a door creaking open echoed throughout the room.

With no moment of hesitation, the boy briskly pulled him self up and ran towards the door. And at last second, he collapsed and blacked out.

"...Big sister...!!"

"D-Don't panic, everything will be fine...just...stay calm...!!"

"BIG SISTER...!!! WAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!"

"Stay calm, Kanna...!! I'll be f-fine."

"..." The girl was still, frozen as the world seem to move in slow motion. Then finally...

"...heh...hehe...."

"....?!"

"Waaauuughhh...!!! I don't wanna die! Kanna...!!" She suddenly became fierce. She violently tugged on the restrains, making them sore but not enough to make it bleed.

"Please, please...!! Somebody, help...!!"

Kanna remained frozen as she watched with tears flowing down her cheeks.

The same expression was on her older sister's face as she continued the attempt of getting the restrains off with such a violent action.

She cried...and cried....and cried....until a sound echoed through the room. An unbelievable sound made them both stop.

There was a click. A click that immediately gave Kanna's sister freedom from the restrains. The restrains were off, but her wrists and ankles remained sore.

Snapping out of her trace, Kanna ran into her sister's arms.

"Sister....!!"

"Kanna...!!"

With no time to waste, they exited the room and was met with the same fate of falling.

A woman was in a dim lit room and was on her knees while she was tied with chains. She pleaded to the man in front of her that was supposedly her partner.

"Unless i settle the score with you... 'Fraid I can't move forward..."

"There's no point in doing this...!!"

"Yes, there isn't. Unless you want to do the same mistake, Keiji."

Keiji's eyes widened as the memory flashes in his mind. Him accidentally killing someone...when he was supposed to save lives.

After that, he didn't waste a second an pressed the switch that gave his partner freedom.

The woman quickly got to her feet. She gritted her teeth and balled her fists before taking a deep breath and exited the room without a word.

For Keiji however, stood alone in the room for a mere moment before following after his senior. Not sure that if he had let her die, he would be able to carry another burden.

And after that...you know what happens.

"Why... why is all this necessary?!"

The sound of a giant blade swings were the only thing heard besides the pleads of the man under it, his feet were tied in chains, making him unable to move from his current spot.

"I thought it was decided!! She..."

"I've got no qualms!! I just want to live in peace...!!"

"..."

"Don't tell me-"

The chains were suddenly unlocked. The man was caught off guard when his arms were suddenly tugged.

It took him a moment to register that he was being roughly dragged by an unknown person. He let the person drag him as he was lost in his thoughts.

Though what he wondered was; Is this person to be trusted...?

He didn't have the chance to go further through that thought as an impact on the back of his head knocked him unconscious.

A man in his mid-twenties was in between two walls, slowly closing on him.

He's so close...just one.more.push then he will be able to press the red button in front of him and be set free. But no matter how much he tried, he can't go any further.

*Buzz

The man's eyes widened as the walls went back to their original place, setting the man free and on his feet.

"How...?" He wondered.

In the corner of his eye, something moved. Yet when he looked, nothing can be seen capable of moving.

He did not waste a second and ran out of the room where he was met with darkness.....And unconsciousness.

A figure crawled and crawled in the air vent, trying to make it just in time to save another life.

But it might just be too late. They thought.

Nevertheless, they continued...

" -rthless life..."

As soon as they heard the voice, the person didn't waste time to kick the vent lid open and drop on their feet. The doll looked at the person with disbelief. That later turned into anger and was visible in it's features as it glared at the person.

The person charged at the doll, pushing it out of the way before bringing out a pocket knife from the front pocket of their jeans.

The person turned around and jumped. The rope was cut in one swift motion, and the pink haired girl dropped onto the ground.

"I won't forgive you...!!"

The doll yelled as it ran after the person. But it was too late, the person had already jumped down the hole with the girl in their arms.
