Parole

It had been a year, and Professor Xavier and Jeremiah Arkham debated whether Wade Wilson was eligible for parole. During the year of his stay at the asylum, Wade did not have any violent outbursts, was quiet, and acted like a model prisoner. It was then decided. One day, Harleen was at her office, wearing her professional clothes, and writing notes down. Her newest patient was going to be one of the prisoners, her name being Pamela Lillian Isley, AKA Poison Ivy. A knock on the door was heard. "Come in," she said as she was writing down notes. The door opened, and it was Wade. He wasn't wearing his Deadpool suit. He was wearing a blue hoodie, some green pants, and sneakers with a backpack. "Hey Harley," he said, in a better mood.

"Hey Wade," Harleen said as she smiled at Wade. "So guess what?" asked Wade as he looked at Harleen. "What's up?" she asked, interested in what he had to say. "I'm on parole for good behavior!" Wade said excitedly. "That's wonderful Wade!" Harleen said as she smiled, happy for him, "I'm so happy for you!"

"Well, I owe a lot to you," admitted Wade, "I wouldn't have made it this far without you." Harleen blushed as she said, "Oh Wade..." She tussled her hair a little. "Anyway, I, uh, wanted to say goodbye to you before I go," said Wade. Harleen stood up and gave him a hug. "Thank you for everything," he said. "Good luck out there," Harleen said softly, as they looked at each other one last time. Wade then left Arkham Asylum. As he walked around Gotham, he wondered what to do next. "Maybe I could reconcile with Weasel and Blind Al,"  thought Wade, "or get some tacos..."  Then, out of the blue, a dark figure leaped out, landing on the ground. It was none other than the Caped Crusader himself, Batman! He looked at Wade, his eyes glaring at him.

"Not exactly the welcoming committee," joked Wade, "but what's the one place you'd recommend for tacos?"

"I hear you've made parole, Wilson," Batman said monotonically, his voice deep and more harsh than the Red Hood's. "Right a Rooney," said Wade, "made it on good behavior."

"Well good for you," said an unimpressed Batman, "because I have some things to say to you, Wilson. You stay out of my city. And if I were you, I'd keep my nose clean. Got it?" Wade nodded, saying, "Yes sir, got it."

"Oh, one more thing..." said Batman. He then punched Wade in the face. Hard. Wade took a few steps back, surprised by this punch. "That's for making fun of Barbara's paralysis!" scolded Batman. "I probably deserved that..." Wade said weakly. Batman then got out his grappling hook, and flew away. Wade decided he'd had enough with Gotham. He went to the nearest bus to Westchester, and took it.
