Forward

We all have those moments in life where someone or something helps us move forward from a turmoil in our personal lives. Like, when I first started writing here, the first story I wrote here was about Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. [Wolverine Reborn.] It helped me ease the pain with saying goodbye to the most awesome portrayal to Wolverine ever. The stories I write are stories that I personally enjoy. Originally, I wanted to write a sequel to Simply Meant to Be. But, the worst that could happen to me, happened. I was dumped by my girlfriend yesterday. To add insult to injury, my now ex-girlfriend unceremoniously did it over the phone. Talk about going out on a whimper, right? Anyway, I just felt too depressed to even write a stupid love story. Why would I want to now that my heart was broken? But, I had people like my dad to cheer me up, found that I can be my own best friend, plus Mad Magazine and the movie Deadpool to help me move on. Comedy is the key to mending a broken heart. And watching Deadpool motivated me to write another Deadpool story. One I'd been thinking of doing for awhile. It started with an idea. What if Dr. Harleen Quinzel had Deadpool as her patient instead of Joker? And here we are. I have to thank my ex somehow. Thanks to her, I'm now motivated to follow my dreams, not give up, and not let anyone or anything stand in my way until I have succeeded.  So thank you. And by the way, I think Flatliners sucked and was more lame than that 2017 Mummy remake. To those trying to mend a broken heart, remember, you're not alone, and if there's hope for a guy like Wade Wilson, then there's hope for all of us.
