2 Wedding or a Funeral?
POV 3rd person
The day was perfect one for a wedding that girls dream off. The sky was painted in colors of pink and yellow when the sun was rising, letting its rays dance on the brides skin. You would think that the bride is glowing, showing beauty and elegance with her whole appearance. This bride however is Anna, a bubbly and full of life but not picture perfect before awakening. Her hair might stick to every direction and be tangled, some dry spit on her cheek and a slight sound of snoring. However she has the inner beauty that every man dreams their wives having. This time the lucky man to be is Kristoff.
Anna woke up from her bed and went to the small bathroom in her cabin. After washing up her face she heard a knock on the door, she grinned happily before tiptoeing to open it up. She knew that her sister came to do her hair and give her support to her.
When she opened the door her sister lifted up a bag filled with makeup and hairstyling things. “You ready?” Elsa smiled to Anna who nodded while smiling. She was feeling the butterflies, or that she thought them being.
“How’s your investigation going on?”Anna asked and actually felt curious if Elsa had found out something strange in the ship. At least she thought that her sister took it seriously and tried to figure things out. “Not yet but you keep on focusing on your wedding,” Elsa smiled and put a few hair pins and did her little sister’s strawberry blonde hair into tight knot. She finished the look with a beautiful veil and then started doing the casual looking makeup, adding some blush to her sister’s cheeks and some eye liner.
“You look beautiful,” Elsa sighed and admired her sister. Then Merida walked in, holding a plastic bag. “I can’t believe that we actually got you a dress!” Merida grinned and put the dress bag to hang from the door. She unzipped the bag and pulled out a dreamy white wedding gown. It was off white in color, shimmering from beaded crystals. It made Anna look stunning and tearing up when she wore it.
Anna spins around in front of a dressing mirror and after she puts her hands on her slowly growing belly. Her heart is fluttering from happiness and her sister feels happy for her. They all are however missing some people who couldn’t come. Anna wishes that her father could walk her down the aisle but she knows that it will never be possible. Elsa on the other hand would wish that her chosen one could be here, celebrating the day.
Three girls who met in the worst kind of situation and formed a bond, they are now seeing one of them tying the knot. “Are you guys coming!” The cheerful voice of Rapunzel is yelling from the door and then she walks in. Her long blonde hair is braided and it has fresh flowers as decoration. Anna chose her to be one of her bridesmaids with Merida. Elsa is her maid of honor.
When they look at the clock they realize that time has traveled fast from the first beams of light. “Hurry!” They all gasped after glancing at each other. Elsa stuffs herself inside a dress quickly and ties her hair into little carefree type of French braid. Merida feels a bit unsatisfied when she dresses up in emerald green knee high dress that leaves her shoulders showing. She glances at her comfortable t-shirt that is resting on the bed and is missing the feeling of it on her.
The ceremony was private one. The ship’s ballroom was booked for their small wedding celebration. Anna was glowing while walking down the aisle, Kristoff was smiling and feeling like it was the start for something good.
When Hiccup handed Anna to Kristoff she gave Hiccup a hug and a thank you. For Anna her friends meant the world as well as her sister. However the steady and loving Kristoff had captured her, making her feel shy and brave at the same time.
Elsa stayed watching how her friends were having fun at the wedding party. She even managed to catch the wedding bouquet and for a small moment an image of her in a white dress, kissing Jack, flashed onto her mind. She rubbed her forehead, the thought made her head hurt or more like her heart.
“Elsa, is something wrong?” Anna came to Elsa and touched her shoulder, she felt concerned of her sister. Seeing Elsa miserable was always hard on Anna. “I just need some air,” Elsa whispered and waved her hand while going outside on the deck.
The freshness of the sea air felt good. She took a deep breath that calmed her down as she leaned against the railing. She gazed down on the waves and smiled to herself. Just one more week and she would have Jack here, with her.
She sees how a waitress walks outside from the ship and passes her while reaching something from pocket. Elsa sees how a card drops to floor and she leans to pick it up, “Hey!” She yells after the staff member and then she sees what she is holding. The waitress turns around, “Did you call me?”
Elsa laughs nervously and hides her hand behind of her back. “Nope! I just wanted to say hello,” she grinned and the waitress nodded while smiling. Elsa sighed from relief when the waitress left.
“Thank you Aurora,” Elsa whispers when she reads the name on the keycard. Quickly she runs back inside and rushes through corridors. She went all the way until she found the door she was looking for. The one hiding all the secrets.
Elsa glanced around her before pulling the keycard through the security lock. It snapped open and she entered. Her nose picked up a bitter scent mixed with something metallic and sweet. The corridor was dark and then she heard the moaning. She walked forward and she gasped when she saw the cabins.
It was the corridor for staff member’s cabins but something was different. Someone had split the doors in two parts, the lower end being solid wood but the upper part was like in prison cells with bars. She slowly tiptoed close to one door. She peeked inside carefully.
BANG!
She startled when a man slammed against the bars. “Let me out!” He yelled and Elsa could see the panic in his eyes. “Calm down mister, I’ll let you out,” Elsa gulped and turned around. Then she heart it. The man started to cough and when she glanced over her shoulder she could see the same man coughing out blood on the floor. She realized that her mouth hung open from shock.
“No,” she whispered and turned around. Door after door she was witnessing the same sight, corridor after corridor. Soon she realized that she had to tell the others, her friends what was going on. Half of the ship’s people were being held here.
However she also knew that she was lost in the jungle of corridors. She groaned and slammed her back against the wall. Big mistake to be exact which she soon realized when a hand tried to reach her. The groaning she knew too good was close to her ear, making her shiver. “LET ME GO!” She yelled and tried to get the tight grab off from her.
It’s happening again, she thought to herself. The nightmare from before, it hasn’t gone away. With a spin she managed to get loose. She stared at it straight into eye. It was a woman, her eyes were blank and she groaned. Elsa felt sick while looking at the snapping jaws.
She swallowed her tears, “I need to tell others.” She whispered to herself and turned around. She bumped onto something. Her eyes met a set of brown ones, he smiles slyly. “Hey, are you lost?” Elsa moved restlessly, “Yes.. sorry about being in here Tadashi.” She whispered and her face was getting red.
“I know that this might seem bad, we’re just trying to contain the virus,” Tadashi sighs and she nodded to him. Her mind was doubtful but she wanted to trust him. “So it’s safe outside?” Elsa managed to ask and Tadashi shrugged his shoulders. “Of course it is! Anyway you should go back to party.. mind handing me that keycard?” He chuckled and Elsa pulled out the keycard, giving it to him.
He guided her back to ballroom where her friends were. Hiccup was singing karaoke with Merida and Punzie was chatting with Flynn. Elsa decided to join with them after saying a thank you to Tadashi who didn’t turn her in.
“Who was that?” Anna whispered when Elsa went to her to give her a hug. “A new friend who I met on the ship, listen to me.. I have something to tell for everyone,” Elsa whispered to Anna who stared at her. Anna knew her sister, how she behaves and now she knew that something’s up. And that something won’t be good. With her heart beating hard inside her chest she went to tell everyone that they would meet around one specific table in the corner.
“Did you find something?” Hiccup whispered to Elsa when they all were around the table. “Yes.. so.. the secret is --,” Elsa started but then behind the double doors leading to the ballroom where they were started to hear yells and screams. “They are here,” Elsa whispered and everyone glanced at each other.
“What are you saying?” Punzie gasped and Elsa looked down, she felt nervous to tell them the truth. “Zombies. The virus is spreading on this ship,” Elsa managed to sit out and they feel horrified.
Merida runs to block the entrance just before a man slams against the door. He slides down, leaving a trail of his blood on the glass. “Any great plans Hiccup?” Anna looks at their friend. “Well..” Hiccup whispers.
“We need to get Toothless,” Hiccup gulped. “Yeah! Let’s go to our cabin… we also sort of stocked up with equipment--,” Merida grinned, “—just in case.” They all nodded and decided to go. “We will show who’s the boss. We made it through once, why not twice!” Punzie chuckled and Elsa shook her hand with hers. “Yeah! We won’t be killed off that easily!” Elsa grinned and they all took anything they could grab on and perhaps used as a weapon. Anna ripped her wedding dresses side open, “What!” She laughed when they all stared at her. “It’s easier to move this way!” She grinned and caused them all to hum.
