14 The Voice

POV Hamish

I glance at Harris and Hubert, they both are keeping an eye on Hiccup. He has been doing some sort of inventions in one of the tents on the past days.

"So you boys are keeping a watch on Merida's man?" My father's voice laughed behind of me. I placed the blade that I was sharpening to table.

"Of course we are dad! We barely know him," I said as I look back at the tent where Hiccup is. I'm keeping an eye on the left exit as my brother's are on the right one.

"Merida said that she dislikes you three stalking Hiccup," dad sighed.

"Well it's Mer who we speak about, I would be surprised if she wouldn't be annoyed," I laughed.

"Go hunting?" Dad said.

"Ducks or zombies?" I grinned.

"Zombies but ducks would make wonderful dinner," he sighed.

I nodded my head while smiling slyly, "Okay so zombies and ducks. On it!"

I left my dad and I walk outside from this tent. "Yo! Hubert and Harris! Time to do some real stuff," I called them and soon they run to me.

"What is it Hamish?" Hubert asked as he threw his bow to his shoulder.

"Dad wants that we kill some zombies and get him a duck," I chuckled.

"It's not duck hunting season!" Harris whined.

"Pffft! Let's just shoot a chicken for him. Ducks and chickens are birds, he will just eat it without realizing the difference," Hubert laughed.

"Agreed!" I hummed.

"Let's get Merida with us. We can't let her stay here with that suspicious guy. Who knows if he will try a move on her," Harris said quietly and nodded towards the tent where Hiccup was doing something.

Hubert went to get Merida. She was really happy to go out beyond the fenced area. She was all about wanting to be free and such. Of course our mom was against it like she usually is with about everything when it comes to our lives being at stake.

Merida and Hubert joined us when we were almost half way to the gate. We pass the camp sites that people have set up on our land because it's the safest place to be.

"You guys should really give some slack to Hiccup. He is a good guy, much more gentle than you are," Merida groaned as I pull the gate open.

"You don't say?" Harris grinned mischievously.

"That's not what I meant!" Merida hissed as she slipped out from the gate. A zombie was limping towards her and she took her knife from her waist.

"Then what did you mean?" I asked as I close the gate behind us.

"I meant that he—," Merida said as she slammed the blade into zombies skull, "—isn't as brutal as you boys are."

"We are not brutal," Harris pouted while Hubert run to two approaching zombies. I watch as he slams their heads together, making them squash like water melon when you slam a hammer on them. I bit my bottom lip.

"Yes you are!" Merida hummed and pointed at Hubert who cleaned his fingers into grass because he got some brain mush in them.

"Well, he just made some zombie head mash, who cares," I shrugged.

"See! This is what I'm talking about," Merida sighed.

"Huh? He would apologize before hand?" Hubert gulped out. Then he grinned as he heard a groan behind him. I notice him taking his blade out.

"I'm truly sorry for doing this!" Hubert laughed as he pierced zombie's skull.

"No. That's not what I meant. You boys could actually like him. He knows lots of things about weapons, his father was a gangster you know," Merida told us.

"GANGSTER?" We all shouted in unison. Maybe little too loud since now we draw zombies towards us.

"Yes, a gangster's son. You never asked him anything did you? You just judged him?" Merida mumbled.

"Well you've been here for little time by now. And then GoGo brought some of your other friends in here so we've been socializing way too much lately," I told her. Everyone was grabbing their bows and getting ready for the pack.

"Try to speak with him when we go back? Do it for me?" Merida mumbled as she aimed her crossbow at zombie. She did a clean shot, the dart landed in the middle of the zombie's forehead.

"Sure," I shrugged as I pulled the string of my bow, aiming the arrow at a zombie which was going towards the fence. I let go and the zombie fell to ground.

"UP!" Merida yelled.

"What?" I asked as I put my bow down.

"DUCK!" Harris yelled and I see how Hubert crouches down quickly, holding his head and cursing.

"Not duck, duck, you idot! DUCK!" Harris sighed and points his arrow up. Then he shot his arrow towards something flying.

"Oh be damned! It's a duck!" I laughed as the bird was falling. Merida run towards it and grabbed it in the middle of dropping down. I gave her support by shooting arrows to zombies that tried to reach her.

"I think that we're done for today boys!" Merida laughed as she came back with the duck.

"So now you're cooking it Mer?" Hubert teased as he threw his bow over his shoulder.

Merida shook her head fiercely. "Nah, mom can cook it. I don't do cooking," Merida grinned. Harris was already opening the gate.

"I'll be back later and clean up the road from the mess," I told them as I nodded towards the pile of corpses that was left behind.

"Thanks Hamish," Merida chuckled and I replied with a smile. It was nice having our big sister back with us.

POV Elsa

After a rotten meal once again I was left alone. There was no more company for me since I eliminated my undead friend. Just me and some itchy hay under me.

I glance outside from the hole that I had made into the board wall when I had to battle against my roommate. The fresh air felt good against my skin and I close my eyes for a moment when the gentle breeze comes in.

Suddenly the barn door opened. It was him, Pitch. I still remember how he hit me yesterday when I refused to speak with him. Quickly I hide the hole in the wall. Time to conceal my feelings again, the fact that I'm getting stronger.

He got in to the space where they held me. I back up against the wall, the shackles are pressing on my wrists as painfully as always. They've been keeping me here for who knows how many days.

"You know baby doll, I've been thinking,"Pitch grinned as he kneeled in front of me. I turn my head away from him but I noticed something different in the way he looks at me.

He kept on with speaking even though I didn't ask him to.

"You refused to join into my little group. You didn't change your mind when we made you starve, neither when you were a sharing this space with one of those dead things. And since we haven't find any of your friends alive so we could kill them in front of your eyes we have only one option left to break your spirit," Pitch laughed.

He remained silent for a while, then I heard him making unsatisfied sound when he didn't hear me responding. He forced me to look at him by roughly turning my head towards him. I glared at him and then I spit at him.

It made him slap me again. "Damn you're stupid girl!" Pitch roared.

"But I like some foreplay and dirty moves," Pitch grinned.

Foreplay?

It was my worst nightmare, he was taking his belt out at first. "I assure you that I won't be gentle," Pitch laughed as he unzipped his pants.

"N-no! Don't!" I yelled and backed up.

"Finally she's speaking! Ah, this works already," Pitch smiled deviously as he crawls towards me. My heart was now beating rapidly, even the zombies were less terrifying than what is happening right now. I can't run because I'm shackled to the ground with this short chain tying me down. I can't even stand.

Pitch grabbed to my torn pants, starting to pull me closer. I kept on screaming and then I kicked him. He shouted in pain and then I saw his eyes filled with anger.

His hand reached to my head, taking hold of my hair. I tried to make him let go by digging my nails into his wrists. It just made Pitch more furious and I was sure that my neck would snap when he at first pulled and then pushed.

My head hits on the wall and I was sure that a bomb exploded inside my skull. It hurt like hell when my head hit against a support wood, I could feel blood rinsing out as the edge of the wood cut my head.

I just heard this ringing sound in my head and my world was blurry. My body felt numb and I couldn't move, I just saw this flashes as Pitch was closing me. I felt my body being pulled and then I felt his hands working on with my pants.

The pain was excruciating and I could just whine while my world was spinning. My lower body was being exposed as he was pulling my pants out. It hurt because he was rough on his movements, he was just laughing as I winced on pain. Then he roughly pulled the rim of my shirt up, so he could see my chest.

Now I felt like I was frozen. I couldn't move even though I wanted to, I couldn't say anything. I felt his arousal against me as he had taken it out. I just closed my eyes as his teeth bit my neck.

My goal was to lose the realization of the world around me. I didn't want to feel this, it' so painful. I try to think of other things, then trying to think of nothing.

When he was finished he left me there to lay on the hay. I felt tears escaping from my eyes, without a single sound I just remained there sobbing. Crawling into ball to embrace my body. He just said that this will break me, that I would then join them or this would be our every night's hobby.

He broke me. He ruined me.

I couldn't hear Jack's voice anymore, saying that I should be strong and that he loves me. Now there's nothing left. Jack hates me, I'm stained and spoiled.

I'm alone and I need to get out from here.

"If this continues... I might as well as die," I whispered to myself.

"Then get the hell out."

I startled. It was like Jack's voice had spoken. It calmed me down a bit and I keep embracing myself, rubbing my arms. Then, after a moment, I start to get my clothes back on.
