POV Hiro

“You guys do realize that IF we don’t find our friends or anyone with medical training it’s YOU who will bring my baby to this world?” Anna sounded strict and threatening. I glance at Jack who is as shocked as I am.

“Baymax is a healthcare robot? Right? He can do it?” Jack whispered and glanced at my robot.

“I’m sorry Jack. I’m not programmed for it,” Jack trembled a bit as he started gasping.

“Neither are we!” I whined and I look at Anna who eyeballs me fiercely.

“Yes but you have natural instincts working,” Baymax replied.

“Baymax. My first instinct would be to run,” Jack gulped out.

“If you do that Jack I’m going to shoot you and feed you to zombies,” Anna groaned which made both me and Jack tense up.

“Okay! So let’s find SOMEONE quickly,” Jack laughed nervously and run ahead.

I was left alone with Anna. Walking in this abandoned small town in search for our lost friends.

“I just wish to have some chocolates,” Anna whined. I nodded towards a small food store.

“We could check it out while Frost is going ahead? There might be some spare chocolate bars,” I shrugged. I might as well be doing this. It’s not like I’ve find any useful parts to fix suit of Baymax that got slightly broken couple weeks ago when zombies ambushed us.

It’s ironic that now the cities and towns that used to be busy seem to be the safest places. Yeah there are zombies walking around but the smarter ones seem to be outside towns. They know that people avoid going into towns that are dangerous because of the zombies. They know that people stay off road and in forests.

That’s why the faster ones, the ones who seem to think, have been infesting the outskirts of towns. We barely made it into this town. And we have to stay for a while to gather our strength. It’s also really hard for Anna and Baymax has noticed me about worrying the baby. Anna isn’t getting enough nutrients and it’s not good at all.

Anna is now four months pregnant, it has been a whole month since the ship hit the shores of Scotland. Jack told me that we shouldn’t trust outsiders which is why we avoid people, so Anna wouldn’t end up in bad situations. We’ve seen people dying because of it, because we haven’t helped them. Couple weeks ago Jack returned as changed man. He had went into ditch, bringing us supplies from crashed car.

He didn’t say what had happened then. However I see him glancing at this picture of a family sometimes and how sadness flows through him for a moment. Then he comes harsh again.

“When will you check out if there’s any chocolates?” Anna asked with her voice having that light tone of excitement.

“Okay, okay! Hold on,” I sighed as I went to shop door.

“Wait with her Baymax,” I told to my special robot as I slipped inside from the glass door.

The store was messy because some of the products were scattered all around. Some cheerios were crunching under my boot as I walked in. The shelves seem kind of empty.

“Just one chocolate bar, please?” I begged as I went towards a counter.

Then I heard this clicking throat sound, loud and threatening. It came from behind the counter that was on the opposite wall. I paused, taking my defending position with my legs wide.

As I see a figure slowly rising up, straight from the floor I knew that I wasn’t alone in this store. I was staring at this guy who used to be the clerk in here. He was still wearing his working clothes.

“C’mon,” I grinned as I reached out to the knife that was still hanging from my belt.

It noticed my existence, barging towards me with its clumsy movements. I pulled my dagger out while I spin around, lifting my leg up which I used to kick it back. Then I used my strength to slam the knob of the dagger to its shoulder, making it totally lose its balance.

It’s easy to beat one of these things by simply using your body and much quieter. That’s why I use my combat skills that have passed in my family line. I watch as the creature takes support from its hands, trying to lift itself up.

I crouch down while throwing the dagger into air. I catch it from the handle and while I’m slamming it through its skull my other hand has also gone to the handle. It sinks in, making it stop its movement. When I pull the dagger out it just falls to its right side. Lifeless.

“What ya have there?” I smiled as I saw a keycard hanging from a chain from its waist. I grab it, pulling the chain that snapped.

Maybe in here there is a locked storage or something?

I’m throwing the keycard into air while I walk around. Then I notice a metal door and a grin spreads on my face. Quickly I go to it and I pull the car through the lock. It snaps and opens the door. Gladly it seems that it had some power still.

And when I got in I noticed why. This place runs with solar power, I saw the power board on my left when I went to the room that was dark. I search for the light switch.

The lights flashed on and I got startled when a woman clerk screamed. She run towards me, her eyes glowing from hunger. I stepped aside, my fingers touching the dagger on my waist. I turn around to see how the sales lady had bumped into empty store shelves.

“Shit you scared me,” I mumbled as I go to that woman. I grab into her hair before sinking the dagger in from her right temple, right to the handle.

I clean my dagger into the zombified womans pants. I notice that her arm had old injury. It’s like something has bitten on it. The guy zombie had similar one on his neck. Probably she had run to hide into the storage, dying there alone. She was looking like she had been there a while before infection had changed her.

Most of the things in the storage were consumed, the smell was horrid. This rotten kind.

“YES!” I raised my voice. There was a paper box and I knew the label. “Thank you!” I praised the God when I saw it being Hershey’s chocolate. I go to it. It freaking isn’t empty! Awesome!

Quickly I grabbed the box that seems to be the only one. I emptied the content to a plastic bag that I got from the counter in the store. Then I went to check out if there was anything else what we could use.

I ended up having some water bottles and chocolates when I left the small store. Anna was sitting on ground, leaning the display window.

“Any problems?” She asked and I shook my head while I stuff my hand into the bag which I was carrying.

I handed Anna one Hershey and her eyes lit up. “You found some! Oh gosh Hiro! Thank you!” Anna laughed and opened up the wrapper, taking a bite.

“You’re welcome,” I mumbled as I wiped some of sweat from my forehead. It was now midday and the sun seems to be the brightest again.

“You two!” Jack called as he ran to us. Anna gave him a glare while munching her chocolate.

“Whoa, you found some chocolate. Awesome,” Jack laughed and coughed a bit. He was holding his hand around his staff which he now used for leaning. I see how his lips are starting to crack.

“Dude, when have you drank something last time?” I asked from him.

Jack chuckled, shaking his head. “I’m fine. Hey I found – ngh—this old car shop. There might be some parts to fix up your robot’s armor,” Jack said and his voice was dry. I see him losing his balance for a while.

“Jack!” Anna gasped and stood up. We both went to Jack, to support him. He was breathing heavily.

“Baymax!” I told to my robot and I see him doing a scan.

“Signs of dehydration. Recommended water immediately,” Baymax reported. We place Jack to sit and I open up my bag quickly. I grab a water bottle and we forced him to drink. He coughed immediately.

“Just don’t throw up, it needs to stay in,” Anna’s voice was concerned as she touched Jack’s forehead. “He is burning up,” Anna whispered as Jack’s eyes closed. He had been running around in this heat. Without water.

“Could you carry him Baymax?” I asked.

“I’m sorry Hiro. I’m running out of power myself,” Baymax told me.

Yeah, we had been finding less an less of places with power. Just some places had emergency power supplies. Then I came to think of it.

“Wait!” I told everyone as I run inside the store. I return with a power supply that I stuff into my back bag that I had left with Anna in the first place.

“What are you doing?” Anna gasped as I asked Baymax to help me get up to the roof. I told her to wait.

Anna was puzzled when I returned with solar panels.

“Huh? What do you do with those?” Anna asked.

“Portable power supply to Baymax. We just need to get into that car shop. I need some tools,” I smiled to Anna as I kneel next to Jack.

I pat Jack’s cheeks carefully. Slowly he opens his eyes.

“Hey, could you show us where that car shop is?” I smiled to Jack. He was panting but he nodded his head. We helped him get back up and walk.

We stayed out from the open, going next to buildings so we could take shelter if a pack approaches us.

It was about fifteen minutes walk away, on the edge of the town. I went inside the car shop first. It was empty, without any zombies walking in.

Me and Anna dragged Jack in. It was much cooler in here than out in the sun.

“Keep an eye on him and make sure that he drinks?” I told to Anna who nodded her head. She watered a piece of cloth that he placed on Jack’s forehead. He had managed to bring us here but then he had collapsed again. He was breathing heavily, being sick.

“Good. Just let me know if there’s trouble. Baymax stays with you while I gather supplies and start working on with some updates to Baymax and I fix his armor. This place seems good so far,” I told her while looking around. The shelves had spare parts, there were tools and gadgets around.

At first I went outside, putting on a generator that I noticed once we got here. Then I locked up the place before going to get some tools. Anna is taking care of Jack who is sleeping on the floor. He has been pushing himself way too much, they both are so keen on finding their friends like I am. However they might be gone forever like my brother is but if hope keeps them going. I might as way shut up.

POV GoGo

When we got into Merida’s home, they stayed but I left to look for Elsa. It’s my fault that she was caught and I’m going to get her back.

For couple weeks I’ve been driving these locations through, trying to spot that gang that took her. So far there’s been no luck. All that I have found are some more of these undead.

The people are wiped out in most of places or they are hiding really good. Not a single living soul in sight since when I left from Merida’s residence. However her family seems to be these army enthusiasts.

I stop by into a city. While taking off my helmet I heard some voices and I roll my eyes while I take my dagger from my waist and hop off from the bike. Then I opened up my leather jacket so I could move more freely.

Then it came. Dragging itself forward, this thing that was more like a tortoise in its movements. Just dragging itself dreadfully slowly with it’s one arm. Other limbs were gone. It stared at me with it’ white eyes, it’s jaw snapping and this bubbling throat sound coming out from it.

“In your dreams,” I chuckled and smiled slyly as I put my dagger back. There’s no point in using my energy to this kind of slow being. I drank some of my water and then I walk past the creature that tried to reach me for nothing.

I whistled while walking around, so far I see no signs of the gang. However I started hearing some speaking. It got me alerted so I ran to this pharmacy where

I had to break a neck of some misfortunate looter that had a bit on his leg. He was turned and still having his back bag. I gut the strap of the bag and I smile in satisfaction. His bag was filled with chips and water. Chips are good source of salt during hot weather like this and water is needed. Good.

Now I turn my attention back at the street.

“Do you think that we can find them? Maybe they are dead already,” a man sighed.

“You need to cheer up! We can’t give up on hope and dreams,” a woman replied quickly.

There’s something familiar in those voices. Slowly I creep closer to the door and I peek out.

My eyes widened, they had already passed the pharmacy and I rush out from the door quickly.

“HEY!” I shouted and run towards them. They turn around and a squeal made me froze to my spot.

“GOGOO!” Honey Lemon squealed and ran to me. She hugged me way too tightly and I tried to struggle free.

“Oh c’mon Honey Lemon! Not this tightly,” I mumbled and gasped for air. The bag that I was holding fell to ground. Then she let go of me.

I see my other friends running towards me and I dodged them quickly. They kept on asking me questions, all at the same time. The relief in their eyes was clear.

Then I see Punzie and Flynn coming, Hiccup’s dog is walking between them. The voices I heard earlier belong to them.

“GoGo! I’m glad that you are alive!” Punzie giggled and hugged me before I could react. Toothless licked my hand.

“Of course I am!” I rolled my eyes and chuckled lightly. I patted Toothless.

“Umm.. I thought you were with my other friends?” Punzie whispered.

“We got separated soon after you went to get others,” I mumbled.

“So where’s Anna?” Kristoff asked. He was the one walking the farest of them all.

“I don’t know. I have not seen Hiro, Anna or Jack since they got separated from us,” I sighed.

“So you are with Hiccup, Elsa and Merida? Where are they?” Punzie asked quickly.

“Merida and Hiccup are in Merida’s home. Her parents have this crazy military base on their front yard,” I laughed and Toothless barked happily.

“And Elsa?” Punzie asked carefully. I rub my neck and I look at the ground sadly.

“Not dead is she?” Punzie whispered.

I shook my head, “I don’t know. She was taken by this gang lead by Pitch that you know. It was sort of my fault which is why I search for their hideout.” My voice cracked while I told the info to them.

“That’s really bad,” Fred gulped and I nod my head.

“But I found you. Better get you to Merida’s house. It’s about hour walk from here, I can walk my motorbike,” I told them.

“Sure,” They replied. Everyone was a bit silent.

“Well.. if Anna is with Jack she is safe. He would never let Anna get hurt because she’s Elsa’s sister,” Kristoff mumbled by himself. He was rather quiet after hearing what I had to tell.

Now I was leading this group towards Merida’s place. Then I would go out again after they would be safe. I promised to myself that I would search for Elsa and get her to safety. Because I failed earlier.

I glance at my friends, they all were looking tired and hungry from the travel. A month ago the ship crashed and we have been walking on the ground of Scotland. There were these evacuation posters everywhere so most of people had been shipped from here to England before the great outbreak. Which is why there are not as many zombies out here. However the ones that are here seem to be advanced.

After taking Kristoff, Punzie, Flynn and Toothless back to their friends Merida and Hiccup. Then I will continue my own journey to find Elsa so we could bring her back to us. However I need to probably catch up with Honey Lemon, Fred and Wasabi because I haven’t seen them in a while. It’s going to slow me down a bit.

POV Elsa

I’ve lost the track of the days of how long I’ve been here. It’s also impossible, when you don’t even know if it’s day or night. I don’t know if its moonlight or daylight that comes between the boards of the barn.

Again I hear the chains moving, my friend is trying to get lose again. I pull my legs against my chest. We both are trapped here, me and my zombie roommate. Both chained and not able to leave. Both of us starving.

I close my eyes, my lungs are burning while I breathe in this dusty air which is caused by the dry hay in the barn. I cough a bit which made my friend go crazy, it started groaning and pulling the chains even more from the sounds of it.

Then I heard this new sound. It was like something had snapped and my eyes flashed open. Something thumps on the ground and my heart beats fast. It’s crawling towards me and I see something flashing in the narrow sources of light.

My friend is on the loose.

I try to pull my hands free but I’m way too weak. Quickly I touch the wall with my hand and then I turn around. I’m kicking this one board with my whole strength. Then it broke and light of day filled the area close to me.

I started screaming, it was already right next to me. It stares into my eyes with it’s disgusting white ones. It lets out a loud exhale and groan, while trying to grab onto my arm. I see it’s rotten face and how it wants to bite me. It’s hands still have the broken chains around.

With one move I dodged it but I’m still stuck. Chained onto my place. I kick it further away but it grabs to my leg. I barely managed to squirm my way free.

“What should I do?” I stuttered and my chains clicked again.

Chains.

I wait patiently as it rushes towards me again. This time standing and now I kicked it down. It fell right next to me. I crawled behind it, carefully wrapping my chains around its neck.

I’m groaning as I tighten it around its neck. The chain is biting inside its neck. Its hands are touching my face and I feel blood dripping on my cheeks as it’s scratching me. The blood of this undead being has been turned into jelly but some of it is bursting out from its neck when the chain goes inside its flesh. The smell disgusts me as well as the slimy fluids of it that are covering my hands.

“DIE!” I roared as I pull with all of my strength. A snap came out when the chain went in fully then his head fell against its chest and I pull once more. The head rolls to ground and I let go. Its arms have already fallen to its sides.

The body of it drops. Only the head keeps doing things, the jaw still snapping and those hungry eyes staring at me. I push the zombie’s body away from me.

My stomach is twisting and I wipe my hands into hay. Then I start to sob and I glance at the being again.

It was too much and I start throwing up close to the wall. My body is shaking and I’m crying.

I just want to get out.

I hear the barn door opening and I look at the new source of light. Pitch had arrived, carrying a plate.

“Tch, I just brought you some lunch but it seems that someone isn’t feeling well. And what happened to your friend? Oh dear me… well.. bon appetite!” Pitch mocked at me while I glared at him. He placed a plate filled with spoiled looking food in front of me.

I spit towards him and he yells at me, hitting my cheek with his hand. “BITCH! Well.. since I won’t stay at your lunch date. Here is one,” Pitch grins and goes to the zombies head. He lifts it up and places it in front of me, out of my reach. The thing is staring at me with its wild eyes.

“Enjoy from the leftovers from three days ago,” Pitch laughed as he left.

I stare at the greenish mush. Then I glance at the zombie and I feel sick. My stomach hurts badly.

Stay strong my love.

Again I heard this voice inside my head. It belongs to Jack, it has been keeping me alive so far. Telling me to survive.

“I will,” I smiled my reply as I grab to the disgusting looking food. I start to eat while staring at the head. It takes a lot to keep the food in and not throw up. However I can’t give up.

Now that they gave me food. I’m going to be strong again and get the hell out from here.
