You tell me what's so special about him?
Well he fills my soul right to the brim.
He makes me happy like never before
By choosing him; I want nothing more

You're jealous that he gets me and you don't
Jealous that he loves me like you wont
Jealous that with him, I'm whole
Jealous that he returned the smile you stole

You ask me what I see in that guy?
He didn't step on me cuz I'm shy
He didn't kick me when I was down
Instead he gave me a golden crown

He filled in the void that you made
You left me bleeding, hurt and afraid
You left me dying on the cold, hard floor
Yet you STILL ask me what I run to him for

You've had your games
Pointed the blames
To you; I was dead
A gunshot to my head

He found me half a being
Couldn't believe what he was seeing
He said how can anyone be so cruel
Well it's his loss; the damn fool

He nursed me back to life
Covered the wound of your knife
Told me I was worth so much more
Since the night you left me on the floor

He loves me for me
Which is something you didn't see
He's the reason for my smile
The reason life is worthwhile

So you still ask why I chose the guy?
Because he isn't you, is enough reason why.
