CHAPTER 9

Yn stood in front of the grand, luxurious hotel, her nerves simmering beneath the elegant facade. Her black, high-end off-shoulder dress hugged her form, ending daringly at her thighs, giving her an air of grace with just a touch of boldness. Today was a monumental day for Jeon Corporation, as Jungkook was celebrated as Korea's number one businessman, having just sealed a groundbreaking deal. The thought of being around him-her powerful, relentless ex-boyfriend-left her on edge. But due to an iron-clad agreement, leaving this job wasn't an option.

Taking a steadying breath, she gathered her courage and walked into the hotel. Within moments, she spotted Mr. Choi waving her over. Relieved, she quickly made her way to the table and took a seat beside him. However, her heart sank as she noticed the nameplate: she was seated right next to Jungkook.

The doors swung open, and all eyes turned to Jungkook as he entered the room with an air of undeniable authority. His gaze swept the room until it landed on Yn. A smirk curled at the edge of his lips, and she felt her pulse quicken as he looked her up and down, clearly pleased with her appearance.

Jungkook's POV: Damn, she looks breathtaking tonight, he thought, the urge to be close to her stronger than ever. It's going to be hard to keep my hands to myself.

Then, his gaze locked onto her, and a mischievous smirk curled on his lips as he took in her outfit. Yn's off-shoulder black dress hugged her frame, radiating elegance, but under his gaze, she felt exposed, vulnerable. She looked away nervously, hoping Mr. Choi's presence would shield her.

Trying to calm her nerves, Yn focused on Mr. Choi as he spoke on the phone, but her thoughts were interrupted when a man she vaguely recognized from the boardroom earlier approached. He smiled and extended his hand, and Yn hesitantly lifted hers, thinking he meant to shake it. To her surprise, he bent and kissed her hand instead. Yn pulled her hand back quickly, uncomfortable.

He settles beside her, shamelessly leaning close. She's polite but distant, showing little interest as he continues his flattery. After a few more attempts at conversation, he leaves his business card on the table, clearly hoping she'll reach out.

Once he walks away, Yn quickly tosses the card into a nearby bin, trying to shake off the awkward encounter. She looks back toward Mr. Choi, grateful for his presence, but Jungkook has seen it all from across the room, his jaw clenched as anger simmers within him .

Jungkook's POV

"Who does he think he is? I'll make sure he regrets even looking at her."

Meanwhile, Yn's phone buzzes. She glances at the screen and sees an unknown number. Excusing herself from Mr. Choi, she steps out to a quieter side of the hall to take the call. Jungkook watches her move away and then notices the same man heading in another direction. He took a wine bottle. His gaze hardened, and he followed him.

On the rooftop

Under the dim glow of the rooftop lights, the man leaned against the ledge, taking a long drag from his cigarette, exhaling into the cool night air. His mind lingered on Yn, captivated by her beauty. A girl like her, he mused, was rare-a sight you don't come across every day.

But then, he heard footsteps approaching. He turned, eyes narrowing as he recognized Jungkook stalking toward him, his face shadowed and his eyes burning with a terrifying, bloodshot intensity.

The man opened his mouth, "Mr Jeon ? What are you-"

Before he could finish, Jungkook's hand whipped out, grabbing a bottle from the ledge and shattering it against the man's temple. Stunned, the man staggered, his vision blurring as blood trickled down the side of his face. But Jungkook wasn't done. Seizing the man by the throat, he slammed him back against the edge of the rooftop, the city skyline stretching out ominously behind him.

Jungkook's voice was low, each word laced with barely controlled rage. "Yn... is mine. No one else is going to lay a hand on her. No one else is even going to look at her."

The man's eyes widened as he gasped, struggling to break free. "I... I didn't mean-"

"You dared to kiss her hand," Jungkook growled, tightening his grip. "You thought I'd let that slide?"

With a final, merciless push, Jungkook forced him backward, over the edge. The man's scream echoed briefly as he plunged from the 30th floor, his figure swallowed by the darkness below.

Without sparing a glance, Jungkook turned, brushing off his suit jacket as if nothing had happened. He made his way back inside, down the hallway, and into the grand hall, where laughter and music echoed through the space.

Jungkook wiped his hands and strode back into the building, the rage in his eyes cooling to a cold calm. As he reentered the grand hall, his gaze found Yn in the distance, talking on her phone, unaware of what had just happened.

Jungkook's eyes softened slightly at the sight of her. He didn't approach, letting her finish her conversation, content to watch her from a distance. Then, with the ease of a practiced mask, he joined the bustling crowd, slipping seamlessly into the festivities as though nothing had happened at all.

On the other side

The hall is filled with the quiet hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses, a soft golden glow illuminating the room from chandeliers above. Yn excuses herself from her table, where Mr. Choi waits, and steps into a quieter corner of the hall, her expression tense as her phone vibrates with an unknown number flashing on the screen.

Yn hesitantly answers, her voice cold ,
"Hello?"

Taehyung (on the other end, his tone filled with urgency):
"Yn... it's me. Please, just listen. I know I messed up, but it was just a mistake."

Yn (her voice growing icy):
"A mistake? You call lying to me and betraying my trust just a mistake, Taehyung? I don't want to hear any excuses."

Taehyung (pleading):
"Yn, please... It was one night. It meant nothing. You mean everything to me. Just give me a chance to make it right.

Yn, please, I... I swear it didn't mean anything. You're the one I love. You're the one I've always loved."

Yn (pauses, her voice now laced with pain):
"If that were true, you wouldn't have done what you did. I gave you everything, Taehyung. And you threw it all away."

Taehyung (pleading):
"Yn, don't say that. Don't shut me out like this. I'll do anything to make it right."

Yn (her voice steady, her decision clear):
"There's nothing you can do. We're done, Taehyung. Don't call me again."

With that, Yn ends the call, her hands trembling slightly as she lowers the phone. She inhales deeply, steeling herself, then smoothly composes her expression before turning back toward her table. Her face is unreadable, her emotions locked away as she approaches Mr. Choi, who looks up with a gentle smile, oblivious to the turmoil she's just endured.

Mr. Choi (warmly):
"Is everything alright, Yn? You looked a bit troubled."

Yn (smiling politely, her voice calm and measured):
"Everything's perfectly fine, Mr. Choi. Just a minor distraction. Now, where were we?"

As Yn sits back down, she slips effortlessly into conversation with Mr. Choi, hiding the pain beneath a mask of poise and professionalism, her heart still heavy with the sting of betrayal.

But her peace didn't stay long. As Jungkook approached, he greeted a few other guests before finally reaching her table. With deliberate grace, he settled into the seat beside her, his eyes never leaving her. Just as she was about to feel a sliver of relief, Mr. Choi excused himself, leaving the table and her back now facing Jungkook entirely.

The moment she felt alone, she subtly tried to rise and switch seats, but a firm hand grasped her thigh, halting her. She froze as Jungkook leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear.

Don't move, baby. Or I swear, I'll bend you over this table right here." Stay still, baby," he murmured, his voice low and laced with a teasing threat.

Her pulse raced, cheeks flushing. She knew better than to test his patience.

"I... I was just going to... grab a drink," she stammered, trying to keep her voice steady.

Jungkook's grip tightened slightly, sending a shiver up her spine. "Stay. Right. Here," he commanded, his tone soft but unmistakably authoritative. He leaned even closer, his lips barely grazing her ear. "Don't make me repeat myself."

As the function progressed, Jungkook kept his hand resting possessively on her thigh, his fingers tracing slow, torturous circles that sent shivers down her spine. The tension between them was electric, nearly unbearable.

She tried to focus on the speeches, her face flushed, while Jungkook's thumb brushed closer and closer to the hem of her dress. Her breathing grew shallow, and she stole a glance at him, pleading with her eyes.

Yn: "Jungkook... please," she whispered under her breath, trying to stay composed.

He smirked, his gaze dark with mischief and something more intense.

Jungkook: " "Be a good girl for me baby".

Her cheeks burned as she glanced around, hoping no one could see the tension that was building beneath the surface. But as she felt the undeniable warmth of his touch, Yn knew one thing was clear: escaping Jungkook tonight was impossible.

Yn nodded quickly, knowing well that disobedience would only lead to consequences. She took a shaky breath, willing herself to maintain composure as Jungkook's hand rested possessively on her thigh. His fingers traced gentle circles on her skin, a reminder of his power over her.

Jungkook's eyes glinted with satisfaction as he watched her squirm slightly under his touch. He leaned back, still maintaining his grip on her thigh, and looked at her with a smirk. "Good girl," he whispered, barely audible, but enough to make her heart race even faster.

Just then, a waiter approached, and Jungkook shifted his gaze, addressing him with calm authority while his hand remained on Yn's thigh. She forced a polite smile, hoping no one would notice the tension crackling between them. She knew this night was far from over.

Okay Light 's off

Everyone's attention is on the screen, speeches blended into the background for Yn, whose attention was wholly claimed by the man beside her. Jungkook's hand, which had started innocently on her thigh, slowly moved higher, his touch intensifying with each passing moment. Yn's breath hitched as his fingers pressed deeper, brushing against her most sensitive spots, igniting a forbidden fire within her.

Jungkook's gaze remained forward, appearing completely unfazed as he listened intently to the speaker at the podium. But his hand told a different story, as he teased her with deliberate pressure, circling and brushing her inner thigh, his fingers grazing her clit in torturously slow motions. She struggled to keep her reactions in check, gripping the table's edge, her eyes darting around to make sure no one noticed the turmoil hidden just beneath the surface.

A quiet whimper escaped Yn's lips despite her efforts to stay composed, and she felt herself nearing her breaking point. But just as the pressure was reaching a crescendo, Jungkook suddenly withdrew his hand, leaving her gasping, her heart racing from the abrupt emptiness.

She shot him a look of frustration, disbelief flashing in her eyes. Jungkook simply smirked in response, relishing her reaction. He picked up a glass from the table, handing it to her with a knowing smile.

Jungkook: "Have a drink, beautiful. You look like you need it."

Yn gritted her teeth, suppressing a pout, and took the glass from him. She lifted it to her lips, taking a long sip, hoping the cool liquid would calm her heightened senses. The smirk on his face only deepened as he watched her, clearly enjoying her frustration.

Just then, Mr. Choi's voice rang through the hall.

Mr. Choi: "Now, please welcome Jeon Jungkook to the stage, our guest of honor tonight."

With a final glance at Yn, Jungkook rose gracefully, smoothing his suit as he strode toward the stage. He left her sitting there, still flushed, still aching, and utterly frustrated. She watched him as he approached the podium, confident and composed, the picture of control.

Taking the microphone, Jungkook gave a respectful nod to the audience. His voice was smooth and commanding as he addressed the crowd, but his eyes found Yn in the midst of his speech, lingering on her with a subtle, wicked glint.

Jungkook: "Thank you all for your kind words and for joining us on this special night. Jeon Corporation's success is not just mine, but a testament to the dedication of everyone here. And some of our team," his gaze flicked back to Yn for a heartbeat, "has truly gone above and beyond."

Yn swallowed, her face warming as she realized that the subtle emphasis in his words was meant for her alone. The moment was fleeting, but the impact lingered, leaving her breathless as he continued his speech, her pulse quickening once more.

Yn blinked, trying to steady herself, but a hazy warmth started spreading through her body. She felt light-headed, her vision slightly blurred, and it was getting harder to stay composed. She took a few breaths, clutching the edge of the table for balance, but her surroundings felt distant, almost surreal.

She glanced over at Jungkook, who was wrapping up his speech at the podium. As he caught her gaze, he allowed a small, knowing smirk to curve his lips. Her heart skipped a beat, and a thought flashed in her mind.

Did he... did he know I'd feel like this?

She tried to shake the idea off, but her suspicions only grew when he finished speaking and began walking back to her, his gaze never leaving hers. The room seemed to fade away, every sound and person around her growing faint compared to the sharp intensity of his approach. Yn's heart pounded as he reached her, his face dangerously close.

Yn (murmuring to herself, feeling the dizziness intensify): "What... what did he do?"

Jungkook leaned in, his voice soft and filled with a dark amusement.

Jungkook: "Feeling a little light-headed, princess?" he asked, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering just a moment too long.

Yn's eyes searched for his confusion and frustration swirling within her. She opened her mouth to respond, but her words felt tangled in her mind. Jungkook let out a quiet chuckle, his gaze never breaking from hers.

Jungkook: "I told you, you belong to me tonight. Just sit back and relax," he whispered, his fingers grazing her shoulder, sending a wave of warmth through her already feverish skin.

He moved even closer, his lips grazing the shell of her ear as he spoke, his words both comforting and controlling.

Jungkook: "Trust me... I'll take care of you."

She felt her body giving in, the last of her resolve slipping away as his presence surrounded her, a mixture of security and dominance that left her utterly captivated, no escape in sight.

Time skips

As the last guests filed out of the event, Jungkook stood by, his gaze scanning the room until it settled on Yn. The waiters, attempting to rouse her from where she had quietly drifted off, gently tapped her shoulder, but she remained motionless. Jungkook quickly stepped over, his voice firm as he said, "She's with me. I'll take care of her."

Without another word, he scooped her up into his arms, holding her close as she leaned her head against his shoulder, fully unconscious. As he lifts her, her head falls against his chest, her breathing steady and soft, completely oblivious. There was a sense of calm that settled over Jungkook, a feeling of completeness as he cradled her, knowing she belonged there, in his arms.

He whispered, almost to himself, "You're safe now... right where you should be." He nods toward his car, signaling his driver.

You're with me now, baby. This is where you're meant to be."

As he slides into the back seat of the car with her still in his arms, he instructs the driver, "To the mansion. And make it quick."

Once inside, he laid her gently on the seat next to him. The driver, understanding the gravity of the situation, silently started the engine, the car humming to life as it pulled away from the venue.

Inside the car, Jungkook held Yn close, his fingers brushing gently over her hair as he whispered to her, even though she couldn't hear him. "You're mine, baby," he murmured softly, brushing his thumb over her cheek. "I'm your beginning, your middle, and your end. From now on, you're staying with me."

As the car moved through the city streets, Jungkook leaned back, drawing Yn a little closer. He felt her warmth against him, each second reinforcing his decision. His voice softened as he spoke again, this time more to himself. "No one's taking you away from me, Yn," he whispered, resolving firmly in his eyes.

Jungkook sat beside her, his gaze intense and filled with unspoken emotions. As the car sped toward his mansion, his hand instinctively moved to the curve of her waist, his fingers trailing lower. He felt the soft, smooth texture of her skin beneath his touch, his heart racing faster with each moment.

Jungkook's car sped through the night, Yn lying unconscious in the passenger seat.

Jungkook's gaze drifted from the road to Yn, his eyes burning with desire. He reached out, his hand caressing Yn's thigh. "So soft, baby," Jungkook whispered, his voice husky. Jungkook's fingers slid higher, tracing the curve of her hip.

"Mmm...you're perfect," Jungkook murmured, his touch growing bolder. He squeezed Yn's bum, his eyes flashing with excitement. "

"You don't even know how badly I've wanted this," he murmured to himself, his voice thick with hunger. "But now... now you're mine. Only mine. And no one will ever take you away from me."

His fingers tightened slightly around her waist, possessively claiming her, even in her unconscious state. His lips brushed her forehead as he spoke again, more to himself than to her.

"From now on, you'll stay with me. No one else matters. Just you and me. Forever."

To be continued ..
