Chapter 3: The training

When I opened the door on my couch was a moron.

"JAMES!" I said yelling.

It looked like Walker wasn't home. Behind me was Luna hiding.

"James where is walker?" I asked.

"Oh, he just went out to a bar to meet some weeaboo girl." James said confused.

Wow I said in my head rolling my eyes. Looks like Walker won't be home for awhile. As soon as I said that Luna walked out from behind me and just stood there staring at James, James meet eye contact and gave a threatening look

But it faded when he said "So that's the girl".

"Uh yeah..." I said flushed.

"Hello my name is Luna" She said walking towards James.

"Hey" James said staring at Luna's chest.

As soon as I saw James eyeballing Luna he was about to....DIE! With one movement I nailed a punch past his head as a fair warning. I gave him a deathly glare to put him back into his place. Instead of listening he went behind luna and was about to touch her.

"OH NO YOU......" said until I was interrupted by luna slapping both of us.

"Both of you STOP!" Luna yelled in a harsh voice.

She can get scary I better remember that.

"Well James; since you are here I need to talk to you and Luna." I said seriously.

"About?" Asked James.

While sighing I said "Midnight".

"What about it" James asked concerned.

"Luna I want you to join our gang. I have been looking for someone like you. Once I saw you I knew you were the one. You are what we need." I said seriously while moving behind the table. 

Across from me sat Luna.

"Why me? Why am I what you need?" Luna said in a dead tone.

"Luna you are like me that is why" I explained.

James sat there saying nothing while the tension built up.

"With some training I know you will surpass me. I will be your teacher. In exchange for you joining Midnight I will let you do whatever with me." I said with a intense stare.

Luna gave the same look back to me

"What would I do with you?" Asked Luna.

I responded in a husky tone saying "You could..kill me,Do nothing to me, or fall for me.".

"Alright...DEAL!" Luna said slamming one hand on the table looking into to my soul.

"Welcome to Midnight Luna" I said shaking her hand.

"Uh,guys I'm here to ya know. This is boring." James said rolling his eyes.

"You shut up" I said laughing.

"Ok James go home and make preparations for tomorrow" I said in my demanding tone.

"Yes Sir" James said laughing while leaving.

"Luna you better go sleep tomorrow is going to be a big day." I said heading of to my room

:"Ok night Ashy" She said with a grin.

"Don't you ever call me that again" I said laughing.

"Night" We both said in unison while we closed our doors.

"Do I like Ash?" I said quietly as I got in bed. All that was in my mind was why me. Why am I special and what training are we doing? I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Should we wake her?" said a familiar voice.

"Sure" said Ash?

"Ash!" I yelled as I sprung up only to punch James.

"OW!" yelled James

"Sorry!" I said bowing.

"Come on Luna; hurry and get dressed." Ash said annoyed.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"5:23 am" Said Ash.

"Really" I said. 

No wonder I'm tired I got only 2 hours of sleep this is going to be just great. Well I better get dressed. I don't really have clothes so I decided to look around the room. It is a guest room maybe there will be something I could wear. I opened the dresser and there were a ton of new clothes. I grabbed the black converses and some skinny jean along with a black shirt that had a sticky note on it. The note read "Here are some new clothes. I hope you like them and look good in them XP - love Walker P.S you don't have to pay me back.". I quickly laced up the shoes and got ready.

"LUNA YOU READY?" Yelled James outside my door.

"YEAH I'LL MEET YOU OUTSIDE!" I yelled.

"Ok" James said as he walked away from the door.

I headed outside to the mustang and got in the front seat.

"Hey,nice outfit" Said Ash.

"Yeah Walker kinda bought it for me" I said filled with glee.

"That's Walker for you. He probably is being perv again." Ash said under his breath.

"Ash did you say something?" I asked confused.

He just ignored me and backed out of the parking lot. We headed down the road for a few minutes in silence. Ash had something on his mind I could tell. His eyes were showing sadness but at the same time seriousness. I couldn't really do much so we just sat in silence until we got through the city. A few seconds later we went into a alley and parked. It was dark but you could still see out to the street.

We all walked down the alley until we got to a dead end. There was a door that blended into the brick wall. Ash slit a key into the wall and he opened the door. I was the first to head in. Then Ash and James after me. The room was dim until James turned the lights on. There was weights treadmills and a ton of gym equipment.

"Well Shall we get started?" Ash whispered into my ear.

I couldn't help but blush.

"Ok James go at Luna with all you got and you two don't hold back. Got it?" Ash said

"Yes" James and I said.

"Alright ready....GO!" Ash said.

James quickly caught me off guard. He threw a punch but missed. Then me and him were throwing multiple punches at each other untill we both hit each others faces. I had quick recovery time and luckily I was able to pin James down. But he pushed me off and   

slammed me into a wall. I never knew he had this strength. Now I can't hold back we both were at our limits and soon someone would win. James was panting across the room.m

HIs body was pretty toned so now it wasn't so shocking for him to be strong. His blonde hair was reflecting the light along with the beads of sweat across his forehead. I knew now was my chance to do that so I closed my eyes. I focused on james breathing and movement. His heart slowed down but then it started pounding. I knew he was close to me and was about to deliver a unforgiving blow. He went behind me and was about to drop kick me until I punched his face dodging his attack ,and then I dropped kicked him instead. I used enough force on my punch to barley knock him out.

I stood there busted up waiting for Ash's approval. He didn't do anything for a minute. Then he stood up walked over to James and laid him over to the side. Quickly Ash got up and gave me a death stare.

"Give me everything you got! No holding back especially on me" Ash said in a husky tone.

"Alright" I said.

Before we really started Ash just went for it. I barely could dodge him running at me really fast. He is way stronger than me and he is not holding back What am I going to do. With one fast movement I was already pinned to the ground.

"Got you" Ash said with a demonic grin on his face.

I started to blush which made Ash realize he was still on top of me. He blushed and looked away as he stood up. James was still lying near the wall. ASh helped me up and we headed over to James.

"He fell asleep?" I said.

"Yeah" Ash said sighing.

"Well he did get a beating from you".

"He is pretty strong also" I said.

"You can beat James but not me yet. But you will get there" Ash said.

"I hope I can get stronger without using my power." I said quietly.

"You have a power" Ash said from behind me.

"UH NO I DON'T!" I said scared.

Ash pinned me to the ground this time with more force.

"Tell me" Ash said with a very husky tone.

"Fine..." I said getting teary eyed.

"I used to live in a village until I killed everyone. In my village there are swords we use for slaying demons. My brother Zeth and me both were the children of a human and a   

demon. So we both could use human and demon swords. HIs sword is the black blade of dragon mine is called the flaming blade of the fire goddess. MY blade can stand attacks of fire. My brothers sword can pierce anything. Our swords were passed down to us. MIne a demon sword his a human sword." I said to Ash.

"Wow you are a swordsmen" Ash said quietly.

"Yeah guess so" I said while staring at my hands.

"We better wake up James" Ash said.

"Alright" I replied.

Can I tell her? No it will have to wait. I walked With luna over to wake old lazy bones up. I lightly kicked his side.

"Wake up idiot!" I yelled.

"Alright Mr.sassy" James said unable to control his laugh along with Luna.

"Really guys. Alright let's go" I said.

When we got back outside to my car it was already getting late.

"Do you guys want to go out and get some food?" I asked

"Sure" Luna said.

"James what about you" I Asked

"Eh" James said.

"Ok..." I said.

"Luna do want to still go out if it is just me and you?" I said.

"I don't see why not" Luna said smiling.

We drove back to the middle of the city and we dropped James off at his house.

"Bye James sorry I hurt you" Luna said

"It is fine Luna and by Boss" James said.

We drove off I better take us home so we can shower and get cleaned up before going out for food.

"Luna we might want to shower before going out. Are you ok with that?" i asked.

"Yeah" Luna replied.

We got back to the apartment I headed straight for the shower.

"Wow" I said to myself.

Luna is cute and pretty strong. I think I should talk to her about my dad and get to know her better. I did force her to tell me about her powers so it's only fair if I tell her something also. I grabbed my shampoo and finished up my shower.

"It looks like there is only one shower in the house" I said to myself.

I headed down the hallway with my clothes to the bathroom. I did not bother to knock but now I know I should have. Ash was standing there in front of the mirror brushing his hair. His tone body and abs were glistening. Wait no what am I thinking he is only wearing a towel.

"Luna.... What are you doing" Ash said blushing.

"UH... SO SORRY!" I said running out of the room.

I ran back to my room and landed on my bed. What just happened?

"Luna are you ok?" said Ash.

"Yeah sorry I forgot to knock" I said blushing.

"It's fine; you can get in the shower now" Ash said smiling.

"Ok thanks" I said.

I went back to the bathroom closed the door jumping into the shower. I turned the water all the way on high. It is so relaxing I could just fall asleep. I almost drifted off but I remembered we haven't gone out for food yet. Quickly I got into a black dress with lace on the back. I put some grey flats on and put some big curls in the bottom of my hair.

I walked out of the bathroom and put my clothes back into my room.

"You look nice" said Ash.

"Oh thanks;you too." I said turning around

"Well let's go" Ash said.

"Where are we going anyways?" I asked.

Ash replied saying "I thought you might want to try some italian food.".

"Sure, it sounds good." I said walking out of my room.

We went into the car and drove through town. The signs were lighting up the streets with a variety of colors. There were people everywhere. Some people were dressed fancy some just in work or casual clothes. I like this city I am not really used to it since I was raised in my village but it is different and I like that. When we got to the restaurant it was in a tall building. We went into the elevator and went all the way to the top floor. The restaurant had a window view of the city. It felt god like being so high and looking down on people. We went up to the counter.

"How many?" Asked the hostess

"Table for 2" said Ash looking at me.

Right now it was 7:30.

We went over to our table and Ash was very polite to me and pulled my chair out gesturing for me to sit. I sat down so did he. Looking at the menu it was very expensive and fancy. I got fettuccini alfredo same as Ash. The food was the best italian food I have ever had. The sauce was perfect. It was not super rich or super thick. The noodles were perfect also. After drinking a bit of wine we had some casual conversations.

Then this stopped when Ash said "I need to tell you something Luna"

"What is it" I asked. "I'm curious about what you have to say" I said making eye contact with Ash.

"I could tell when you were talking about your powers it was a hard thing to say. So I thought I would tell you something in return." Ash said as his eyes became filled with pain.

"You don't have to. It was only fair that I told you that I have kinda demon sword" I said smiling.

"No now I want to tell you." Ash said.
