"The red souls you are seeing are very unholy demons, The silver is fallen Angels, the Gold is the souls stuck on earth like the in-between and there is nothing on purple." Ezikel finished and my mother was shaking her head up and down. "Huh, I'm assuming nothing on pastel rainbow or magenta right?" My mother asks. "Magenta? No, and no there isn't anything about pastel rainbow." Ezikel is confused when he answers. My mother stares at the map a little longer and she must see what she is looking for because she taps on the map and the guards shake their heads and leave the room. "Let me figure this out once I know anything I will let you two know immediately. Until then I need you both on the mat practicing hard than before. Stop the researching and stop the cool-down times. We need all of you prepared for whatever is about to come and I'm not going to let you be caught out there with no way to fight back." My mother says and there is fear in her tone. I think it's because she doesn't want us to lose our lives and she doesn't know what this entity is. No one, not even God and the devil knows what it is.

Clarissa joins us for training and she doesn't even wait to try and get her hands around my throat. I block her hit and kick her in the stomach. Ezikel then comes at me with his arm reaching out to grab me. I grab him by his arm and pin him down on the ground without breaking a sweat. Clarissa comes at me with a right hook to the jaw I stumble back. Ezikel grabs my hands and Clarissa comes in the other wring but I am clever then I kick my feet off her chest flip up in the air and wrap my arms around Ezikels throat. Clarissa is trying to grasp air when she says, "Gotta give it to you Nubia you can kick ass, but I'm going to pin you down." She gets up and her face starts to change. Her eyes hollowed into her head. She starts to come at me and my soul makes me glow. I lift off my feet put my hand out and wave for her to bring it. She shifts back and looks at me. "Nubia, you are a protector. I should have made your soul come out of your body but it didn't. It made you fucking glow." Clarissa sounds astonished. Exikel laughs and says, "Welcome to a new world Clarissa. Where a soul is stronger than me and you combined."
"I hope she is strong enough for whatever is coming"
"I am strong enough and I'm going to make sure this thing doesn't hurt you guys, my family, me, or any living soul on this earth." As I'm about to say something more my mother walks in. "We have a problem. Whatever that thing is, it can suck souls out of people, angels, demons, reapers, the universe, pretty much anything that has a soul. It wants Nubia because it will be so powerful it will obtain Gods and the devil's souls and fucking own everything in its path. Nubia's soul can unlock all the realms which means that if this thing gets what it wants, it will rewrite all of humanity and any living thing will suffer in its path." My mother says to us. "Well, won't let that happen and we will do everything to make sure this thing doesn't get to do that," Ezikel says. Clarissa shakes her head and I just look at my mother because if I'm the key to all the realms then that means everyone I love will die or sacrifice themselves to make sure I am protected and I don't know how I feel about that.

Our training goes another three hours till we hit the showers. I keep thinking about how to make sure I am on top of my game and make sure that thing, doesn't take everyone I love away from me. I don't know what I would become if I lost them. There is a knock at the door and I hear my mother. "It's me sweety can I come in." She comes in and closes the door behind her. "You okay sweety, I know I put a lot of pressure on you and I don't expect you to be fine with everything I told you. I just want you to know that we all love you and this is scary. But I will make sure you are safe. With all my power, I will make sure you are safe." Tears fall from my eyes onto my cheek, down my chin, and neck as she walks out. These people will die in my place. I get it that they are my family, my friends, and people that are loyal to us. They will die because I am the key to the most important thing in the world. I don't know how to feel about this. I finally shut off the water and came out. I stand in the mirror and look at myself am I worth all of this? Can I hair this in someone else? This will be my next research just for me. If I can plant my soul somewhere else and keep the world safe then I will do it. I don't want to lose anyone.

We are eating dinner when I'm my dad finally tells everyone that Yessica will be visiting him and he will be gone for the next couple of days. "I'm so happy for you Dad," I say well trying to not cry again. A chair at the table is moved and my mother walks away from the table. This is the first time she sees how happy he is to be with someone else and I can't imagine how terrible that must feel. Knowing the only person you love in the world is with someone else. Then my eyes wander to Clarissa and Ezikel who love people who love each other and not them. I don't know how they do it and remain strong. I don't know how Clarissa does it, she has done it for centuries. She has loved a man who ends up with the same soul every time and Ezikel got this soul to love him once but that soul always found its way to what it truly loves. My father's voice interrupts me. "Nubia I think I will have to leave without saying bye to your mother please make sure she is okay over the next couple of days. I'm just trying to make Yessica feel less involved in all of this. I'm not ready to tell her." He says lowering his head. "Dad, I don't think anyone is ready to tell people their child is superhuman and their ex-wife is a vampire. Oh and don't forget you get to hang with angels, demons, and reapers all day. Sooo, I say keep this to yourself awhile before you know she is the one." He smiles at me and gives me a tight hug. He stands up and walks out of the room. I look at my friends across me and say, "I need to train more, so which one of you is going to join me and let me kick your ass again?"
