Sixth Bite -6-
"Who's that?" Takashi asked as he watched the group draw closer, not minding me as I practically used him as my perch, though I could see a furious blush staining his cheeks as he felt my breasts push at his back.
I would have smirked and teased him, but my gaze stayed on the teacher. "That's Koichi Shido. He still teaches 3-A, I believe." I mumbled as a glare slowly formed on my face. I could nearly feel Rei's temper flare at the bastard's name. Couldn't say I blame her. I heard what he did to her; holding her back a year.
"Shido," she hissed.
Shizuka gave a huge sigh of relief. "We're good to go!"
Takashi shook his head and called over his shoulder. "Hold on a bit!" Dread filled me as I realized what his plan was. He was going to offer them safety.
"There's too many swarming the front. I can't drive if there's too many of them bunched together," Shizuka protested.
I pulled away from the 2nd year and backed away more into the bus as he walked towards the nurse. "So run them over!" I shook my head as I stood next to Rei and Saeko.
"Don't be stupid," I shook my head at him.
Takagi agreed with me again. "If we do that, then'll we'd flip the bus over." Takashi gritted his teeth before moving to exit the bus. Rei reacted before I did and grabbed his arm.
"Don't save him!"
"Rei, what's your problem? Don't save him? Are you insane?"
"We should be asking you that." I huffed and sat in the empty seat, looking out the window at the still running survivors. Seriously, are they like, running in slow motion or something? Jeez.
"You don't need to save him! We should leave him to die." Harsh. I'm liking this girl more and more, despite being a bit naive.
"Everyone! Hurry!" Shido directed, pointing to the bus and waving his arm around. I had to hand it to the guy; he was a great actor. Hiding his sadistic personality and disgusting habits. "I guarantee you'll make it out alive." Okay, what a loud of bull this man is sprouting.
"Yes, Sensei!" two girls ran past him, but one male with a stack of books in his arms tripped, most likely twisting his ankle. They made it to the bus along with two other males.
He grabbed Shido's pant leg and looked up at him with pleading eyes, saying something. Without warning, the cunning bastard stomped the poor kid's face in and left him to be eaten by the nearing zombies. I looked around to see if anyone else saw what just happened, but they were more focused on the little lover's spat going on between Rei and Takashi.
Once they bordered the bus, Takashi looked to our driver. "Shizuka-sensei!"
"We're off!" I stood from my seat and made my wave to the nervous blonde nurse. She dodged many of the undead, but as we drew closer to the gate, it became more crowded. She bowed her head and gritted her teeth.
I placed my hand on her shoulder and offered a small smile. "They're not humans anymore, Shizu-chan." She repeated after me under her breath before yelling and pushing her foot down on the gas to speed up. I never knew that humans could go flying that . I was mildly entertained as I gripped the back of my friend's seat as she trampled everything in our way. Soon, we burst through the gates, and I spotted my little red car.
"Ah, look it's my car," I giggled and pointed it out, earning looks of amusement. The fallen sakura petals fly into the air as we sped away, giving it a serene look. I sat in a seat near Shizuka and found a lone cloth on the ground. Smiling, I picked it up and wiped down my machete.
"Looks like we made it," I heard Takashi sigh from behind me.
"Yeah," Kohta laughed lightly in relief.
"Thank you for saving us." My mood immediately dampened at the sound of his slick voice. "Are you the leader, Busujima-sama?"
Why the hell does he want to know? I turned in my seat to see Saeko merely wiping down her bokken. "No, we all work together to survive."
A dark, sadistic look crossed his face as he tried to play it cool. "That's no good. A leader is need to ensure our survival." He preached on and on, while our group gave him deadpanned looks. Shido's group however thought that he had a great idea.
"You'll regret saving him," Rei hissed to Takashi. Before he could reply, one of the males from the other group pointed out the city. Smoke that I saw earlier was still there, but there was more than I expected. The boy with bleached blonde hair and brown roots shot to his feet as he clicked his tongue in disapproval.
"Look. We'll never make it if we keep going! First of all, why do we have to do whatever you guys planned to do?!"
"Well," I started as I got up so everyone could see me. "We did let you guys on our bus, against our better judgment." I shot a sour look to the sheepishly 2nd year sitting behind Rei. "So, if you have a problem, you could always get off and fend for yourself."
"You all decided to go to the city without asking us!"
I growled, walking down the aisle to knock some sense into him when Takashi blocked me by standing and pulling me into his seat. "Then fucking leave, jackass! We're not forcing you to stay!"
A rather timid looking boy spoke up. "He's right. We should hole up somewhere, like that convenience store that we just passed." Suddenly, the bus lurched as Shizuka stomped on the breaks. Takashi and I lost our balance; he hit the seat in front of us before falling to the ground, taking me with him. With a yelp, I whined as my nose throbbed slightly after smacking into Takashi's rather defined chest. Two pairs of hands helped me up, making me thank Rei and Saeko, who smiled at me.
"Alright, that's enough fighting, you all!" Shizuka bend at the waist to scold us, and I smirked when the males looks away from her swaying breasts. Us girls ignored it since we were used to it.
"What... the hell," the guy muttered before snapped his head away from the teasing sight.
Saeko spoke up. "Then what do you want to do?"
The guy growled before pointing at the bored looking Takashi. "I can't stand being near this guy. I hate his guts!" Kohta looked ready to shoot the asshole, but Takagi stopped him with her arm, her eyes narrowed as she took in the situation.
"Why? What the hell have I ever done to you?" Takashi raised a brow.
"You!" he ran forward to hit our leader, but I tripped him and then Rei hit him in the stomach with her make-shift weapon.
"Asshole!" Rei watched him collapse after spitting out spit and gag. I laughed, earning a nudge from Saeko. Shido started to clap his hands like he's seen the best play ever.
"Splendid work. What excellent teamwork, you two." I blocked his view of the younger teens, a glare set on my features. He paused and flinched fearfully. Shido cleared his throat and ignore me. Bitch. "But the fact that this conflict happened simply proves that I was right; we need a leader."
"Were you going to run for that position then?" Takagi crossed her arms.
Shido smirked and peered at her. "I am an adult, Miss Takagi! It would only make sense that I be in charge."
"I'm an adult and so is Shizuka."
"But I am older and more experienced in leadership, Miss..."
"Mukami, Minato. Don't you remember me, Shido?" I smirked as horror played on his features. "Didn't think that you would see me again, ne?"
"I-I thought you left the state!" he sputtered.
"No, I wanted to extract my revenge first. And since there is no authority now, I could do so easily, so I wouldn't get on my nerves." I let the threat hang in the air. It was quite before he started blabbing again, avoiding my eyes as he did so. His group seemed to think that he would make a great leader and Shido decided. I glanced over at Takashi and mental said that we followed him, nodding when he smiled slightly.
Then Rei jumped out the bus. I followed Takashi out with both our weapons in my grasp and spoke to the angered girl. "Rei, please get back on the bus. That idiot won't make decisions for us; Takashi does. Throwing a tantrum now will only empower him."
"You don't know what he's done!" She screamed at me, but I smiled sadly.
"I know more than you think. C'mon Rei, get back on the bus and we'll deal with this, ne?" Slowly, the girl relaxed and nodded, trudging back on the bus.
"Thank you."
"You really need to keep a leash on your girlfriend," I said jokingly.
"S-She not my girlfriend!" he protested. Before I could retort, screeching interrupted me and we saw a bus full of people and zombies heading straight toward us. We were too far from the bus, and the one coming at us flipped over, going a speed that we couldn't compare to. Arms wrapped around me and tugged me into the tunnel just as the bus hit the entrance, blocking us in as flames licked at the bus. I opened my eyes and saw Takashi hovering over me with a blush before he rolled off me to sit next to me.
"Komura! Mukami-senpai! Are you guys alright?"
The male beside me stood up to go near the gap between the brick and the flaming bus. Oh shit, were those zombies on fire??! "The police station! We'll meet at the East Police Station!" he yelled over the flames.
"What time?"
"Seven o'clock tonight. And if not tonight, then the same time tomorrow!" The zombies came out of the bus, but soon dropped dead. Takashi glanced at the bus before cursing and grabbing my wrist to pull me after him. Soon, the tunnel was full of flames and we gasped for our breath. Hearing something behind me on the stairs, I gasped when a zombie with a helmet on pushed me down harshly on my stomach. I bucked and cried out in dismay with the undead tore my shirt in half, exposing my bra-clad breasts.
The weight was pulled off me and Takashi took care of the zombie by dropping a block of concrete on its head. "Are you alright?!" he knelt beside me, but flushed brightly at the sight of my breasts, which I tried to shield from his gaze.
"I-I'm fine. I think that I hurt my leg, though." I winced as I slowly got to my feet. The teen slide off his uniform jacket and handed it to me, which I took silently and buttoned it up.
"I'll carry you."
"N-No, I'll be too heavy!" He ignore me and knelt down in front of me, offering his red shirt clad back. I sighed and complied, surprised that he got up easily under my weight along with our weapons and walked up the steps.
"You're really light."
"Hm," I hummed and rested my chin on his shoulder. "That guys had a helmet on. Maybe his bike is somewhere around here?"
"That's right." We began looking and soon found it. Takashi left me with our weapons as he pulled the bike up the hill. It worked fine and he got on, reaching out to help me on. "Let's go, Minato."
I blushed. That was the first time he called me by my first name.
