Second Bite -2-

Is it bad that I wanted to laugh at these people's misfortune? They were stupid and didn't really grasp the situation. I immediately knew what going on when the guy from earlier began chomping on a woman and it was mainly because I watched a lot of zombie movies and played a lot of games too. Shrugging, I landed on the other side of the wall and ran towards the school, not caring about the increasing number of zombies that shuffled after me since I was making a bit of noise. I went through the front door and practically waltz down the hall, slowly making my way to the nurses office. I decided to put my machete back in the bag, lest someone spotted me and tried to stop me. Oh, speak of the devil.

"Hey! Why aren't you in class!" a voice called out to me, making me pause mid-skip and glance over my shoulder to see a mildly handsome male with well kept dark hair and light eyes of that disgusting bastard Koichi Shido. I wonder briefly if he remembered me, but brushed it off with an award winning smile.

"Sorry, I'm a teacher assistant and I was running a bit late today." The lie rolled off my tongue easily, taking in his surprised look with appraising eyes. Bowing politely, I flipped my hair and walked away, not giving him time to say anything else to me. Spotting some stairs to my right, I went up them silently and saw the view of the gates where blood spattered along the ground. "Could no one see what's going on?" I shook my head and went up another flight of stairs before turning left around the corner, where I knew the nurse's office resided.

A ding sounded and I raised a brow at the sound of the principle clearing his throat, but didn't stop. "Attention, all students! Violence has broken out on campus!" he sounded like he was about to have a panic attack. Way to keep everyone calm and collected, I laughed to myself as I saw the sign above the door, stating that I reached my destination. "Students should evacuate the campus according to their teachers instructions."

Ah, now they noticed something was amiss. I wonder who died in front of them, or got bit and turned. As the male repeated himself, he was cut off suddenly and was silent for a while. Then movement was heard just as I slid the door open. "Help! Save me!" cried out the principle. His wails grew louder along with a ghastly groan and the sound of flesh being torn. I shuddered.

"Yo, Shizuka!" I grinned at the large-breasted woman's sleepy gaze that slowly settled on me. I closed the door behind me as I heard everyone beginning to freak out and running out of the classrooms, screaming and the like. I blocked the door with a cot after locking it.

"Ah Mina-chan, what are you doing here?" she exclaimed as she got from her desk, pulling me into her arms and nuzzling my cheek. I giggled and embraced her back, ignoring the way our breasts pressed together intimately.

"Well, something came up and I decided to come to make sure that you're alright. You are my only friend, after all." She smiled at me brightly before looking at the door in confusion as it rattled violently, making me reach into my bag, pull out my beloved weapon, and shove the bag to the confused Shizuka. "Stay back, okay?" She said nothing,  but nodded when I glanced at her before moving the cot out the way before unlocking the door.

I know what you all are think. Why would I open the door when I knew, fully, what could be on the other side of this door? The answer is that I am crazy, with the urge to kill some undead humans! I have always envisioned this scenario a thousand times and how'd I would do things during an apocalypse. I'd be bad ass like Daryl and Rick from that american TV show "The Walking Dead", or  like Roberta and 10K from the other american TV show "Z Nation".  I shoved open the door and moved to the side when two guys stumbled through.

"Oh my," Shizuka gasped from behind me, hitting me out the way with her much bigger bust. I whined in my throat as my hip hit the edge of her desk and shot the oblivious woman a glare as she tended to the wounded students. They looked beat up, and my guess is that everyone started a riot.

I snickered.

A violent outbreak happened due to another violent outbreak. How ironic. The boy, who looked unscathed, fluttered around the room and helping Shizuka with the wounded. His hair was dark brown, nearly black and his brown eyes were wide with terror.

"Hey," I called out, raising a brow a his violent flinch but chose not to comment. "What's going on out there? Why are they injured?"

"C-Class 1-B went into an uproar after the announcement and I brought my friend in here to help treat his wounds." He said nervously as he laid an ice pack on one of the boy's forehead. I hummed and looked at Shizuka pacing around the room, looking thoroughly lost at what to do.

"Did anyone bite someone?"

"B-Bite? I don't know, just hitting each other from what I saw." Ah, so no zombie has spread their virus yet on this side of the academy. That's a relief. I could just grab Shizuka and leave before the school got overran, but I have this gut feeling that she wouldn't abandon those in need of medical assistance.

"I see. My name is Mukami, Minato and you are?" I bowed and then straightened, smirking lightly in amusement.

The boy pushed up his glasses with a blush as he looked away from my bouncing chest. "Ishii, Kazu." I hummed in acknowledgement before I heard a groan coming from one of the boys. Clutching my machete tighter, I watched as Ishii scurry to the boy's side and knew that by the grey-ish tint to his skin, that he was one of the undead now. Oh shit, he was bitten! There goes my plan.

"O-Okada..." Ishii gasps as the brown haired male sluggishly rose to his feet, blood dripping as he moaned. The broom that the glasses wearing boy had clutched to his chest fell to the ground. "Okada?" Once Okada shuffled towards him, Ishii grabbed the IV stand and yelled, running at his friend. "Crap!" He bashed the boy's head in and I whistled lowly, impressed that the weak looking boy singlehandly kill a zombie. "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I'M SORRY!"

Shizuka bounced around with a worried look plastered on her face as I hopped onto the desk. "Whatever shall I do?" I shrugged at her and looked at the traumatized boy with a pitying look. "I can't get a hold of the police or the fire department." She opened the cabinet beside me as I crossed my legs, holding my ankles as I glanced at her grabbing medicines. "I could treat people."

"But they're screwed once they get bitten, Shizuka, and they come back to life after they die." I made a gesture to the re-dead zombie and the trembling Ishii. Shizuka missed the gesture as she continued to ponder.

"I feel like I'm in one of those zombie movies," she hums.

Ishii finally got over himself and panted as he looked at us with wild eyes. "Is it really that amazing?!" He stumbled over to us. "Let's get out of here, Shizuka-sensei, Mukami-san!"

The blonde merely grabbed her office chair and climbed on it, reaching for more medicine from the top shelf. "Hold on a sec. I should take whatever I can carry. Oh shoot, I forgot my bag in my car!"

I held up mine and waved it around. "No worries, I got one!"

"Please hurry!" I grinned as I glanced over to the window, seeing a small gaggle of zombies coming towards us. The male smashed its head against the glass, cracking it. Ishii gasped, horrified as he spun at the sound of cracking glass. I hopped off the desk, shoved the bag into Shizuka's arms, and whipped my weapon out of it's sheath just as the glass shattered with a lot of zombies stumbling through.

Ishii stood in front of my blonde friend protectively as I stood to their left. "Shizuka-sensei, please stay behind me!" The zombies lunged forward and I decapitated them left from right, laughing manically as I did so, glee feeling up my body as well as adrenaline. "Gah! Shizuka-sensei! Run away! Quickly!" he screamed as one of the zombies bit down on him and my buxom friend hid behind me.

"Oh, come on!" I complained. He was so bad ass earlier when he killed his friend, and now he didn't even try! I hacked another one that got too close to me and heard the nurse stammer out a reply.

"Uhhhh. What'd you say your name was again?" She pointed at the boy with a confused look on her face. I paused and glanced at my friend with disbelieving eyes.

So did Ishii as he looked back at her, ignoring the fact that he was being devoured. "Huh?" he muttered tearfully. His knees weakened and fell back as the zombie chewed on him. The rest steered away from me as he shrieked and descended upon him. Some of the others shuffled towards my blonde friend, but I was occupied by three female zombies making a grab at me.

"Shizuka!" I shouted, worry filling my body as she cowered away from the two male students turned undead.

"H-Hey now..." she trailed off fearfully. I sliced the bottom half of one of the girl's face before pushing the other two down, piking them through their foreheads easily. A blur shot past me and the two zombies near Shizuka collapsed as well as the ones feeding on the still alive Ishii.

There stood a pretty girl with long purple hair and blue eyes wearing the Fujimi third year uniform, a bokken wooden sword hanging limply at her side. She was tall, slender, and had sizable breasts. She's really attractive with her apathetic look and pink lips. Silently approaching Ishii, she knelt  down in front of him, and I took the moment to kill the last female that was trying to bite me, but couldn't due to her having no bottom jaw.

"I am Busujima Saeko, captain of the Kendo Club." She said in a soothing voice, which calmed down the poor boy. "Tell me, 2nd year, what is your name?" Man, she sounded so polite. I rolled my shoulders and looked to Shizuka, opening my arms to accept her into my embrace. Ishii coughed up blood, but answered nonetheless. I hope that Shizuka was listening.

"Ishii...Kazu." He coughed some more and I sighed sadly when I saw his complexion grew more pale by the minute.

"You fought bravely to protect Dr. Marikawa, Ishii." I wanted to snort at that since he didn't really do anything this second time, but kept silent. This girl wanted to ease his nerves before she leaves him to die. "Your courage is highly praiseworthy, but do you know what happens to you once you have been bit?" She asks solemnly. He said nothing. "If you don't want to be turned into one of them then I could end it for you. Though, it would be my first time killing another." Saeko admits.

Ishii gasps, his eyes shrinking as he registered what was happening to him. "P-Please." The teen smiled sadly, tears streaming down his face. Shizuka eased herself out of my arms and looked on.

"W-Wait a sec, what--"

"Shizuka."

Saeko nodded at me before glancing at the distraught nurse. "I know that you're the school's nurse, but please do not interfere. One of our duties as women is to protect a man's pride."

I raised a brow but said nothing as she raised her bokken and looked as Ishii closed his brown eyes that looked golden in the setting sun. He seemed like that he had come to terms that he was going to die. I couldn't help, but respect him. Shizuka stumbled back into me when Saeko bashed the kid's head, sending more blood on the window. The buxom woman covered her mouth with her hand and shook her head, staring down at the kid slouched on the floor.

"It's going to be okay, Shizu-chan." I knew how she felt about harming the living. It went against everything she lived for, but now that the world is going to hell, things needed to be done.
