A/N (2): This is my first fanfic and just F.Y.I each chapter is told through a different characters POV.

"Bailey you are late for school!" My mom yelled up the stairs to me.

"Coming, Ma!" I shouted back. It was the third day of school and the day I found out something I never knew before. Only Mom knew. And my father. But I'll get back to that later.

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Bailey Johnston. I am a girl with long black hair and grey eyes. I would usually have a smile on my face. But I have encountered some very unusual things in the past ten years of my life. I have seen things that many people can't. I had been doing some abnormal things myself. I have had dreams about the dead. But this is all because I am a demigod. A daughter of Hades to be exact. Mom was afraid to tell me because I am hard to convince of some things.

As I was walking to school, I was getting pissed because my mom and I had a fight that morning. Suddenly my temper grew and the ground shook violently and opened up.

"What the hell?" I questioned a bit taken aback. Then a bunch of dead people (I didn't know what they were at first) started crawling out of the ground. My eyes widened and I ran to the school as quickly as I could.

"Why are you late, Bailey?" My homeroom teacher, Ms. Rubak, asked.

"I woke up late Ms. Rubak. I'm sorry." I replied softly. Ms. Rubak nodded and motioned for me to go to my seat. There were some snickers and whispering throughout the class. As I walked back to my seat, my best friend, Jezabel, pulled me to the side and said, "Bay, I know why you were actually late today! Meet me outside the playground after school." I nodded and rushed to my seat.

The day went smoothly. I got out of my last class and met up with Jezabel, and another girl? Jez had another girl with her.

"Jez, who is this?" I asked curiously.

"My friend Amanda. Well, actually, she is my half-sister, as are you." I cocked an eyebrow, completely confused. Jez never told me she had a sister, nonetheless that I was her sister, I thought as I glared at Amanda.

"I know. I've been hiding so much from you. I know what you are, Bay. And you are not completely human." Jez said before biting her lip. I glared at my best friend.

"If I'm not human then what am I?" All of a sudden, I disappeared and reappeared behind Amanda.

"What the hell? That's twice today." Jez muttered, "That's what I was afraid of." She walked over to me and gently placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Listen sweetie, you are something called a demigod. To be more clear, you are a daughter of Hades." Jezabel sighed. I shook my head angrily. "And you've been hiding this from me for who knows how long! Why?" My eyes filled up with tears.

"I'm sorry, Bay." Jez said softly. Then my heart started pounding, my eyes widened and I gasped. Jez looked at me worried and I collapsed.

"Bay? Bailey? Bailey!" Jezabel's voice was rising slightly as she shook me. Her voice sounded so distant. Jezabel looked at Amanda. "Amanda, go send an iris- message to Demi Camp. We are going back." Amanda's eyes widened but she just nodded and ran off. Then the world around me went dark.
