'You're got it?'

I hopped in Dino's alt-mode and nodded. 'I did...' I muttered, buckling up while he speeded down the parking lot. 'No trouble?' I shook my head. 'Just a few guards, they haven't seen me,' I muttered, removing my gloves. Dino eyed me closely as if he was waiting for the entire story. I grabbed my phone. 'What are you doing?'
'Calling Jazz.' I dialed his comm number. He picked up immediately. 'I got it. The virus worked.' I heard a sigh in relief coming from the other side. 'Sweet, have a look as soon as you get the change.' Dino beside me overheard the conversation. 'We will check it out,' Dino said. 'Right... I have to go.' Jazz disconnected the call. 'He sounded annoyed.' I shook my head. 'Just busy.'

Dino drove back to the base and he didn't let me out of his sight. Dino doesn't give up, I had to give him that. We sat down and went through the lists I had downloaded. Kammie's name didn't pop up, but I hadn't expected that either. 'So... what now?' I scrolled all the way up again. 'I wait.' He raised a brow. 'You wait for...?'

'Until something happens.' 

'Right...' he sucked in a breath. 'We could try to set a trap. Check some of these names in the database.' He was right, but it would lead to Kammie. I glanced at him. 'Unless you know something I don't,' he added. I stared back at the list. 'You've to tell me if that's the case. We are partners.' It hurt my heart. He deserved more than this. 'This is not important, Mirage. The case we are working on is important.'

'But we are stuck. We need to find frenzy first so...'

'...we don't have success yet. What if we try to sent a signal. You think Frenzy can pick that up?' Dino snorted. 'And become a beacon? Any Decepticon could respond to that, not just Frenzy.' I sighed and tapped on the table. 'We don't have to sent the signal from here. We can sent it somewhere else and see who shows up. If Frenzy doesn't want to be found, than he won't. Maybe we can set a trap for him.'Dino tapped on the table and turned his gaze away. I unplugged the flashdrive.

((Dino's P.O.V))

The femme was having secrets. I couldn't pin point what it was but I knew she was pushing me in the wrong direction. I hated it. She glanced at me. 'You're taking that?' She nodded. 'Yes, Jazz wants to have a look once he gets back.' I huffed. Jazz was head of SpecOps. I'm the spy. She's my partner and Jazz shouldn't be stealing her from me. 'You're angry again.'

'Why would you think that?' I grabbed my jacket. 'Look, I know you hate how it's going between us and Jazz, but I can't change. I need you to trust me me in this.' Trust her? She's lying and playing me. 'I don't trust you anymore. You lie and you manipulate me. Partners don't have secrets.'
She didn't reply to that and walked up to the door. 'You can be mad... I don't mind,' she muttered, slamming the door shut behind her. I slumped back in the chair, burying my face in my hands.

I sat like this for what seemed an eternity and jolted up as someone cleared his throat. 'Prime?' I got up. 'You're okay?' I nodded. 'I'm fine.' A complete lie. I felt miserable and angry. 'How did it go?' I sighed and sat back down as he sat down too. 'It went fine, but I don't think Katie wants to be my partner anymore. A shame because I thought I thought she would be different, you know. I really like her. She's smart, she knows a lot. She's a brilliant spy. I really thought she would be the perfect partner, but I was wrong.' I picked up a pen and fidgeted it in my hand.

'She still enjoys being your partner, Mirage. You shouldn't take it personally. She's trying to protect you.' I huffed. 'Protect me from what? I'm supposed to protect her. I get jealous when I see her partner up with Jazz. She's supposed to be my partner and we are supposed to share secrets and details, talk about it endlessly. That's my thing with her.' I grumpily slumped back. 'Jazz is your best friend. He knows how important this partnership with her is. He would never intend to steal her from you.'

'He's not acting like my best friend. He's avoiding me, he's snapping at when I do talk to him and he's not himself. I thought Kammie was the problem. Maybe he's jealous im hanging out with her or something. I tried to spend more time with him, but he keeps snapping at me. I don't know what I did wrong.' Prime sucked in a breath before leaning into the table. 'You did nothing wrong. He's tensed and I already spoke to him about it. Don't take it personally. As for Katy... she's still your partner and she won't go anywhere. Don't push her away because you're jealous.'

I nodded and watched him get up. 'Get some sleep.' I nodded, but I wasn't going to get sleep. Kammie would be waiting for me though. With heavy feet I hoisted myself up and headed to my room. Kammie was indeed waiting for me. 'Hi sweetspark.' She looked up from her phone and smiled. 'Hi, amore.' I took off my shoes and jacket, walking up to her. I kissed her and allowed her to wrap her arms around my shoulders.

I pulled away as she tried to unbuckle my belt. 'What's wrong?' I sat back. 'I'm not in the mood for sex.' I got up. 'You're never in the mood...' she scolded. I rolled my eyes and opened the closet. 'I can better get it somewhere else.' I shot her a glare but all she did was rolling her eyes. 'I'm always giving you what you want. Relationships is a two way thing,' I snapped; slamming the door shut. 'Did your stupid mission succeed?'

'I don't know because your sister won't tell me anything. She's leaving me in the dark about everything,' I scolded. This seemed to brighten her day to my annoyance. 'Ugh, I'm not going to discuss this with you,' I snapped. 'Why? The sooner your end your partnership, the sooner she leaves. Katy doesn't like sticking around for too long. She's not going to stay because you want it so badly. Once the mission is over, she'll leave.' It upset me. I wanted this partnership to work out and I wanted another spy around to chat with about work. 'You don't know that,' I muttered. 'I do, because it's all she does.' I shot her another glare and walked into the bathroom; slamming the door shut behind me.
