Mirage sat down at my table. Wasn't he supposed to sit with my sister? He looked at me with those big blue eyes. 'What? You want the muffin?' I shove it towards him. 'No, I'm waiting.' I raised a brow. 'Waiting for what?' He shrugged and poked in his food. 'What you and Jazz were doing... you said he had girl trouble—' I cut him off. 'Don't! It's none of your business, okay? I will share what I want to share and this is not something I will share with you right now.' I aggressively poked my fork in some green beans. 'I thought we were partners...' I met his gaze. 'We are... on our case and whatever I do beside working, is my business. I'm not asking what you do with my sister either, okay? I don't want to explain myself every time I go out or go do something with another mech, got it? I'm serious about it.'

He nodded and popped some food in his mouth. 'Thank you.' He gazed at me. 'I just want to help...'
'I don't need your help, okay? I don't particularly enjoy it, so stop asking,' I snapped. He raised his hands in peace and watched me. I felt bad, but it's better if he doesn't know it yet. I hate breaking his heart. He doesn't deserve this. 'Okay, well... I would love to help, so... you know where to find me if you che get your mind.' I nodded slowly.

((Dino's P.O.V))
I was a little offended and upset about the fact she had a mission and didn't want to share it with me. Why? Why does she keep it a secret from me? What did I do? I wanted to have a partner so badly and I was so scared she would stop after this case, that I even got upset about the smallest things. Maybe it's nothing. Perhaps it's just something Jazz needed her to do. He needs a human for whatever reason. She finished her supper and grabbed the muffin. She split it in two and handed me the other half. This is what I love so much about her. One minute she's mad and few seconds later, it's forgotten.

'Grazie.'

'qualsiasi momento,' she mumbled back and smirked a little. 'Where did you learn that phrase?' She swallowed. 'I started learning Italian, so I know what you're saying,' she mumbled. I shook my head and looked at the muffin. We ate in silence. 'Katy!' Jazz gestured for her to come over. 'Sorry, I have to go.' He grabbed her plate and took off. I sighed, watching them. Jazz had a very serious look on his face. I got up as they had vanished. Maybe Prime knows something.

He was sitting with Ratchet, Ironhide and Prowl a little further away. 'Dino?' I cleared my throat. 'I was wondering if you assigned Katy and Jazz for something. They went on a mission the other day and I can't know about it. Why did you assign me with Katy? We work together already on a case. Jazz went all crazy the other day when I asked about it.'

I got a lot of confused looks. 'I haven't assigned them for anything.' I saw the look Ratchet and Ironhide exchanged. 'You two know something!' I pointed at them. Optimus and Prowl turned their heads. 'No, we don't know what they have been doing but... Jazz isn't really himself lately. We all noticed that. He's angered fast, which is very unlike him. Don't take it personally, okay? I'm sure they have a reason for it.'
I shook my head. 'It's not good enough for me. I want to know what is going on.' They shrugged. 'We don't know.' o snorted angrily. 'Mirage, calm down. Prowl and I will talk to them.' I nodded and stormed off. I was mad. Why all these secrets? Why lying to me?

((Katy's P.O.V))
I looked at the phone recordings Jazz showed me. 'Damn... she was pregnant...' I mumbled. He nodded. 'Mirage could've been a sire by now.' I shook my head and slumped back. 'Damn...' I sighed. 'Are we interrupting something?' I closed the case file and sat up straight. 'No...' I muttered. Prowl shut the door behind Optimus. 'We have a very upset and pissed off spy. We never approved any mission either, so...' I looked at Jazz. I ain't gonna be the first one to speak. 'It's nothing. Mirage shouldn't stick his nose in my business.'

'Well, you're using her. He's relying on her a lot and he's very excited to have another spy at the base. You also know that he's very sensitive for this type of thing—'
I cut them off. 'Kammie is cheating on Mirage and Jazz asked me to collect evidence. Apparently, it turned out she was pregnant of his child, twice and got twice an abortion. She also is in a huge debt, involved in several illegal activities and is wrapping Mirage around her finger. So no, he can't be involved in this until we have everything we need.'

I threw the case file his way. Optimus picked it up and flipped through some pages. 'Why didn't you tell us, Jazz?' It was Prowl to ask that question. 'Mirage is one of my closets friends. I know since he was just a little sparkling and this will break his spark. We all know what he has been through. Do you want to break the news? Now? While all of this is going on?'

Both sighed. 'No, we need him to focus. Do you think you can find out what she's involved in, Katy?' I nodded. 'Yes, I can. I've done it before and I'll be able to do it again. It does mean I've to leave a couple of times... to do some spying mission.' Optimus shook his head. 'Doesn't matter. I approve the mission and give Mirage a good reason. Keep us posted about this.' I nodded and took the case file he offered me.
