Chapter 14

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Hoseok showed up, a wide grin stretched on his lips. "I was not informed that there will be a party here." He said, eyeing the four of them.

"Is that a dog?" Jungkook asked, looking directly at the whimpering dog cradled on Taehyung's chest.

"I thought I made it clear that there will be no animals allowed inside." Namjoon coldly glared at Taehyung.

"As if you're not one." Yoongi muttered under his breath, gaining everyone's attention.

"Excuse me?"

"You are excused." Jin stifled a laugh, hiding behind Taehyung's back. "I forgot that I'm supposed to treat you as a king. I'm sorry, your highness." Yoongi smirked, seeing the emotionless facade breaking.

"Hyung." Jimin hissed at Yoongi, it was the first time Jimin addressed him like that and it was as if he felt powerful by it.

"This is entertaining and all but I don't want to have blood all over the floor." Hoseok stepped in, deciding enough is enough. Usually he would be the one starting fights, but seeing Yoongi provoke Namjoon is in a whole different level.

"You don't even clean." Jin pointed out. Hoseok facepalmed and turned to the older.

"Hyung! We don't talk about that." Jimin gasped then turned to Jin. Arms flapping around.

"Why do I get to clean but he doesn't?" Jimin whined, clinging to Jin. All of their eyes suddenly snapped towards Namjoon who made a 'tch' sound.

"Get that dog out of the damn house." Namjoon glared harshly at Taehyung before he left the room. Yoongi rolled his eyed at the immaturity then noticed Jungkook staring at the dog for what seems like centuries.

"You can hold him." Jungkook's head turned towards Yoongi, eyebrows scrunched together. "I can tell that you want to hold the dog."

"I decided a name for it!" Taehyung excitedly beamed at them. "Yeontan!"

"That's a cute name." Jin said, tickling the dog's ear. "Want to hold him?" He gestured for Jungkook to walk towards them. Jungkook followed and stiffened when he felt the dog in his hand. He slowly patted the dog, unaware of the blooming smile rising on his lips.

"You have a pretty smile." Yoongi pointed out without any hesitation. Jungkook's smile disappeared, just as quick. He retracted his hand and pulled away from them, eyes glaring harshly at the floor.

"I- Fuck." Jungkook cursed then left the room with the questioning silence between them. Taehyung looked at where Jungkook left to with a frown. Yoongi could tell that Taehyung probably read Jungkook's mind and whatever he was thinking.

"It has been fun and all, but I don't want to get involved with an angry Namjoon." Hoseok broke the silence between before waving  goodbye at them, "Plus, I have some important business to attend to."

"You mean finding weak people roaming the streets and drinking their blood." Jin pointed out, "Wait for me." He turned to Yoongi with a small smile, "Well, I have to keep eyes on our troublemaker."

"Wait a damn minute. You're leaving the dog to us." Yoongi narrowed his eyes in accusation, pointing at Jin.

"Maybe." Jin shrugged, then taking off towards the doorway, dragging the unmoving Hoseok. "Goodluck!"

"So..." The dog's head snapped up and Taehyung cooed at it, "What are we gonna do with the dog?" Jimin asked turning to Yoongi for guidance.

"We have no choice but to give it away. We don't even know if it has a owner. It just followed Jin-hyung home." The three of them fell into silence.

"I don't want to give it away." Taehyung muttered quietly, playfully scratching the back of the dog's ear making it bark up at him and lick his hand.

"Tae..."

"I'm going to the cabin instead and take care of Yeontan there. I don't smell any lingering scent and it has no collar." Taehyung stubbornly stuck with his idea, refusing all the arguments that the two might suggest.

"Fine. Just... Just be careful." Jimin sighed out in defeat, "Namjoon will probably visit you once in a while."

"I thought he hates Taehyung?"

"Hate is a strong word, hyung." Jimin smiled innocently, "Besides, Namjoon is still our leader. He is made to look out for us."

"This is giving me all the headache." Yoongi groaned, "I'm going back to bed eating my melted ice cream." With that said, Yoongi left the room with their burning gazes in his back.

There are so much things that Yoongi have to learn. He doesn't even know vampires exist, and now he is thrown into a wild fantasy he never wished for.

Yoongi set his mind into organizing things first. His first step is to learn about their kind and it might take a while especially when everything is heated between all of them. He couldn't just straight up ask them, he isn't that desperate.

Books. He might find some books starting tomorrow, he could get some information about them. Let's just hope that they trust him enough to leave on his own, which will definitely be a difficult task.
