A wildcat smelled the human and stalked closer.

A pair of shiny black boots by the tub caught its attention.

It pounced, tearing the boots to shreds.

Hoppy grabbed his gun beside the tub and shot the cat dead.

A hand came by and saw Hoppy beside the dead cat then he saw the shredded footwear and asked nervously,

"Pardon me, Boyd, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?
