Journey (8) (Bill Temple)
The stranger held the other two men by the neck.
"What is this?"
"This is your moment of reckoning, Sheriff."
"But you are dead."
The stranger's laugh echoed through the saloon.
"That I am, Sheriff. But you knew that. You left me dead, back at my farm."
"But ... how?"
"An eye for an eye, Sheriff."
He embraced all three men at once.
A woman and a little girl appeared.
The Sheriff screamed as they burst into flame, engulfing the stranger and the three murderers with them.
Unholy noises.
The fire disappeared.
Taking all with it.
The old piano player played.
