Elizabeta screeched at the sight of sunlight reflecting from the mirror on to her eyes. Another day, another story.

She jumped up, stretched for a bit, threw on some clothes and headed straight down stairs to get some breakfast. Getting a good breakfast is the most important thing a person can do to have a happy day.

She walked down the stairs and saw nothing but Gilbert, poking some sad piece of meat in a pan. Liz went over and sat down that the bar, trying not to look at what he was cooking. Straightening herself out she muttered "Uh- good morning Gil." Gil looked back up with blank face, "Hi" being the only word he could make out. Confused, Liz cleared her throat, and changed the topic. "So, what are you cooking?" "I don't know." Gil quickly replied. This made her nervous. She didn't want to be mean and not eat it, but it concerned her that he didn't know what he was cooking.

Changing the topic again, she asked, "Gilbert, what time did you get to bed last night?"

He droped his spatula

His eyes slowly looked up at hers

He leaned in very close

And said:

"I didn't"

Liz slid back a bit. "Um, Gil, how 'bout you let me take over breakfast?" She forcefully grabbed his arm and pushed him out of the way, knocking over her stool. Gil dizzily pushed her back. "NO WAY, MY BREAKFAST" Gil screamed. Liz calmed down for a second and grabbed him by the shoulders, pulling him in tight. "Listen here..." She whispered, "Let me cook breakfast, you're too tired too right now."

There was an awkward silence

"I see." He said "You're just jealous of me awesome food that's all."

Liz gritted her teeth and angry pushed him against the counter, putting their faces centimetres apart from each other . "No you idiot! Your food looks like shit, that's why I want to cook!"
Gil grinned slowly, reaching over to the pan. He picked up the undercooked, squishy, moist peice of meat and shoved it into her mouth with one quick motion.
