"Kiss me—"

I quickly shot up as the final bell of class rung. Quickly, I wiped the saliva from the corner of my mouth with the back of my sweater sleeve. 'Ugh...seriously another gross pervy dream?? When are these gonna stop?? I'm tryna be happy!!' I thought.

"Hey Y/n!!" One of my classmates approached my desk.

"Hey!!" I greeted back, "What's up?"

"Me and some of the others are going to watch the launch of a space shuttle later today afterschool, do you wanna come?? Naoto's gonna be there~" She teased me,

I blushed,

"Sure, fine!! After practice, I'll be there!!" I told her, "But not because Nao's gonna be there!!"

"Sure~~~ And I'm also supposed to believe that you didn't wear that Mascara and lipgloss to impress him either, huh?? I bet you're expecting him to kiss youuuu~~" She teased making a kissing face at me.

I pushed her away by her face, my own face as hot as a flame,

"Shut up!!" I shouted.

Hopefully the space shuttle thing will be interesting. I haven't had any real excitement since before I gave up assassination. This past month I've been so damn bored that not even sports are doing it for me anymore. Hell, the only thing that is 'doing it for me...' is fucking beating up my dad's punching bag and I'm not even allowed to use it anymore because I 'broke he chain to many times!' Ugh, who am I kidding, I don't even like space stuff, this is going to be boring as hell!!

||Nagisa's P.o.v||

After climbing a fifty meter staircase to the rocket hatch, Koro Sensei met us at the top wearing some kind of really weird black...disguise maybe? I don't know, but it was definitely weird...

"Any accident would be a liability issue." Karma said to him.

"Please don't say such awful things!" Koro Sensei told him.

"I'm relaying recorded footage of dummies to the control room." Ritsu butt into the conversation via our ear peices, "If you swap them out now, you won't get caught!" She told us.

"C'mon, Karma." I urged him.

He nodded and with that we went inside and began putting on the spacesuits that were originally on the dummies.

Not long after a countdown from 100 started.

"You know, we've felt this kind of nervousness before, you and me." I said, referring to the time Koro Sensei took Karma and I across the sea to watch that movie.

"Yea. But...we might've changed a little since then." He said.

I looked away from him, "Karma...she didn't come back..." I couldn't stop myself from saying. I heard him shrug, the heavy spacesuit conveyed this motion through sound.

"So? She will when she's ready. My prediction is that she's probably already gotten bored of the quiet life..."

"I don't think so..."

"Nah...she's coming back. I know her...she's gonna come back. She probably just needs a bit more time to get things out her system..."

"What things?" I asked, looking back at him.

"Wouldn't you like to know..." He said, "Like I said. Y/n's a complicated yet simple being. She's like....like a little kid. When she gets all worked up she throws a tantrum—and in this case it's rightfully so—then after she throws a tantrum she kind of just passes out like a baby so that she can recharge. She just needs a long recharge time that's all...what we did, really fucked her up, so she needs a lot of time to process it. When she's kind of calmed down a bit she'll come back, but probably not for either of us..." He said.

"Then for what?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious? It's the same reason any of us would come back; for assassination. She's apart of this class, a class we all vowed that we'd kill our teacher. She's not gonna just bail on that, she's not the kind of person...No grudge is gonna keep her away from something she loves...This whole year, it's honestly the most fun I've ever seen her have and that's saying a lot because honestly she's pretty simple to please. So, it's only a matter of time before she comes back so she can finish what she started just like the rest of us. I doubt she's gonna let killing Koro Sensei just slip through her fingers because she's mad..."

"You're pretty confident about this, Karma." I said.

"Yea...she's pretty simple to read once you get past all the whining and crying..." He sighed out.

We both remained silent and instead just listened to the countdown of the spaceshuttle. "All systems go." SOmeone over the intercom said.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

And just like that, we were off...

||Y/n's P.o.v||

"Fuck!!" I shouted as I ran over the liftoff sight.

I had just missed lift off thanks to stupid practice and it actually looked pretty fucking cool!! I ran over to my friends, right before I collapsed onto the dirt right in front of them, "S-sorry I'm late guys! Practice ran over!!" I muttered into the dirt.

"Oh my gosh Y/n!!" One of my friends exclaimed.

"Girl, are you okay?" Another asked.

"You've gotta stop collapsing in front of us and then acting like that's normal!! That shit is seriously frightening!!" Another hissed.

I laid there, ignoring them all as I tried my best to relax. This only further pissed them off and soon they all started nagging and yelling at me to get up.

"Okay! Okay!" I whined, "I'm getting up, I'm getting up!!"

"Hey, need some help?" Naoto innocently asked as he held out his hand to me.

I blushed a bit and nodded as I took his hand and he hoisted me up. I blushed more now that I was so close to him. His face turned a bit pink too, which only made me more nervous,

"Oh, you've got dirt on your face, let me clean that up for you, N/n-chan..." He said, brushing dirt off my face with his thumb.

I blushed as he began leaning in to kiss me,

"Ooooo~~" Our classmates chimed in before anything serious could happen.

We both looked at our classmates and I shot them a glare for ruining my fucking moment. 'Why does this keep happening anytime I'm with a cute guy??' I thought angrily.

"Not cool guys...not cool..." He shook his head.

"Yea whatever!! As if you guys were gonna kiss this time!! Anytime you try to kiss her, Y/n always turns her head at the last minute!!" One of my friends groaned.

I shot daggers at her, telling her to shut the fuck up, but I'm pretty sure my message got lost in translation.

"We were so totally were gonna kiss this time though!!" I hissed.

"Yea sure!! That's what you say every time right after you chicken out!!"

My face heated up and I huffed in protest, which only made everyone, including Naoto laugh. "I don't mind though, she's too cute to stay mad at~" He teased, pinching my cheek. I rolled my eyes and once he let go of my face I groaned,

"I'm so bummed that I missed the lift off though! It looked so cool from afar!! I bet it would have looked super awesome up close!!" I pouted.

"Well, that's what you get for playing so many sports!! If you did something else you'd have more time!!" My friend told me.

"Yea, whatever..." I huffed.

"Hey, after this, do you guys wanna stop and get something to eat?" Naoto asked.

Right as he said that my stomach growled and so I held my stomach, "Yes please!" I exclaimed.

"Yea!"

"Totally!"

"I'm down."

The others said.

"Awesome!" Naoto beamed, "Where should we go?"

We all began discussing what we were going to do as the people around us started filing out and presumably going home. Once we noticed that the majority of the crowd had left, we decided to start walking to. As we were walking away I heard some scream

"WHAAAAATTTTT!!!"

I figured someone had just heard some crazy news, and so I paid no mind to it. We continued walking, but then someone I knew said my name,

"N/N-CHAN!!" A female voice shouted.

I looked across the way to see a blonde girl, and not only a blonde girl but an entire class of people I knew. "Oh shit..." I muttered. My friends stopped to look as they watched the girl sprint over to us from many ways away,

"Y/n, who's that?" one of my friends asked.

I grimaced and held onto Naoto's sleeve, "Uhhhh...I don't know, but let's get out of here before something bad happens..." I said.

Too late though, the girl jumped onto me and we both fell onto the ground,

"Y/n!! I knew I spotted you from a mile away!! I haven't seen you in so long!!" Rio said.

I blushed and tried pushing her off of me, but she did not budge. She was too busy holding onto me for dear life

"Uh, Y/n. Do you know this girl?" Naoto asked me curiously.

"I–uh...I!!" I tried to say.

It was no use lying and so instead I let out a sigh, "Yes...This is one of my classmates from my old school..." I finally admitted.

My new classmates smiled at her as she finally got off me, "It's nice to meet you!" One of my friend said. Rio smiled at them. By the time that was all said and done, the rest of my old classmates had also gathered around us, and they reveled at my presence. It honestly made me uncomfortable, because since when did most of these people like or miss me??"

"Y/n! You cut your hair!!" Kayano exclaimed, "It's so short now, I like it!!"

I blushed a bit, "Thanks..." I accept the her complement.

"Yea it looks so good on you!!" Okuda said.

"Thank you..." I replied to yet another compliment.

"We miss you Y/n!" Yada said.

"Yea, when are you coming back?" Rio asked.

"Yea, don't you think this whole missing person's charade has gone on long enough?? You have assas—shit to do!" Terasaka said, almost blowing our entire class' cover.

"Yea, the class is not the same with out you, sadly!" Maehara annoyingly said.

I let out a sigh and face palmed at Terasaka's idiocy. "Guys." I said, silencing everyone who speaking to me all at once, "I appreciate the kind and stupid words, but I'm not coming back! I didn't leave for some publicity stunt or social experiment, this is what's best for me. After all this shit I alone have been through, I don't...I don't wanna come back..." I told him. The class remained silent for a few more moments, not really sure what else to say. That's when my ex bestie Itona spoke up.

"Well if that's how you feel, there's nothing we can do to convince you..." He said.

"Yes, that's right. Thank yo—"

"But, just because you go to a different school doesn't mean we can't still be cordial. We're going back to the class to watch the space feed, you should come."

For a second I was awe struck. That was the most my bestie—I mean, Itona had ever said to me sine we've met. Not gonna lie, I was moved, but at the same time I was not an idiot.

"Uh, thanks for the kind offer, but I don't really wanna be anywhere that Karma and Nagisa are."

"Oh my lord, you're still on with that?? What could they have possibly done that made you want to switch damn schools towards the end of the fucking year as a 3rd year—" Terasaka said.

Kayano elbowed Terasaka in the gut to keep him from saying anymore nonsense, "Please, ignore him...What we're all trying to get at is that we miss you and we just wanna hang out with you. You left without warning, we didn't even get to say goodbye...We just wanna spend more time with you...at least one more time. You're our classmate after all!!" She said. Now Kayano had done it. I wanted to cry, but I remained strong, I wouldn't let them see they had gotten to me. I took a deep breath and quickly composed myself,

"Look, I get what you're saying, and I'm sorry for just up and leaving, that was wrong of me. But I have new friends now...new problems...new...relationships...I also...really really don't wanna see Nagisa and Karma right now...I know that sounds selfish of me, but that's where I stand right now...Thank you for inviting me to hang out with you guys though..." I told them.

As I was walking away with my new friends, Rio called out to me,

"W-wait! What if we told you that wouldn't be a problem!!" She said to me.

I looked back at her obviously confused.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked.

Rio looked around before she motioned me to come back to her. Reluctantly I did and once I was close enough to her, she yanked me close by my arm and whispered something in my ear. My eyes grew as wide as saucers. Once she was done telling me, I looked at my entire class again. They all had such hopeful eyes. I let out a sigh and turned away from them,

"I'm sorry , but I already have plans, so I'll be leaving now...Goodbye guys..."

Add just like that I turned my back on the class for a second time and I didn't look back. As I nodded my head at them, I hoped they understood what I meant...

Guyssss don't hate Y/n for the way she acts😭😭 She's still just going through the motions a bit!! Also, Terasaka saying Oh My lord was the funniest shit I'd ever read. Like when I read that while editing this it caught me off guard but it feels so canon and idgaf if no one found it funny because that shit cracked me up🤣🤣
