||Karma's p.o.v||

"Y-Y/n wait!" Nagisa sat up, getting ready to chase after her.

I grabbed onto Nagisa sleeve, not bothering to get up myself, "Don't...let her go..." I told him. Nagisa looked at me like I was crazy, and honestly that's how I felt. Tired, concussed, and fucking crazy.

"What? Why not?? I can't just let her walk away from here!!" He told me.

I let go of Nagisa's sleeve and looked back up at the sky, "Y/n's sensitive, did you forget? She just needs time to process things, so there's no real point in talking to her...you'll just make things worse..." I told him. Nagisa paused before letting out a sigh and laying back down in the dirt in exhaustion.

"What happened to her?" He asked me.

"She's hurt...she's hurting real bad. She thinks you like Kayano and she thinks I hate her, sooo yea, that's a thing."

"But, I thought you—"

"I lied."

Nagisa remained silent for a few more seconds, "Karma, I don't like Kayano. I like Y/n. I...really like her...I have for a while, since before even E-class" Nagisa said. I shrugged,

"Why are you telling me that? I don't care. That sounds like one of the first things that you should admit to Y/n when she comes back."

"Karma, she said she's not coming back..."

"No, she's coming back, it's already decided."

"Karma?"

"Yea?"

"Are we...good?"

I let out a pained sigh, "As good as the two of us can be, I suppose..."

"And you're really going to go along with saving Koro Sensei?" Nagisa asked, sitting up once again.

I looked over at him and rolled my eyes, "Don't give me that dumb look with that beat up face of yours. I don't get what Y/n sees in you, you look like a plague rate."

"Th-those insults sure do trip right off your tongue, Karma..."

"Look..." I told him.

I jumped onto my feet even though I was still hurting, "Why don't we drop the formality already. I don't much feel like sticking with it after that fight." I said.

"What, now? It feels weird to change this late in the game."

As much as it pained me, I swallowed my pride and stuck my hand out to Nagisa, "I'll do it then. Okay, Nagisa?" I told him.

"All right, Karma." Nagisa said, taking my hand.

I hoisted him up onto his feet and that was that.

"You know, you're attacks were awfully weak, Karma." Nagisa had the nerve to say.

I put him in a headlock, which he didn't seem to like, but oh well.

"You know I was pulling my punches!! Y/n would kill me if I damaged that ugly face of yours that she seems to like so much, even if she is mad at me!!"

||Nagisa's P.o.v||

"I'm sure you all have your own thoughts on this. I have no objection to the course the class has chose. However, there's one condition on your search for a way to save him: You have until the end of the month. Though you might be taking a break from assassination, there are plenty other efforts underway to take this guy down. If someone's going to kill him, it can't be anyone else, I want it to be you. So promise me that no matter how January turns out, February and beyond will be spent giving your all to assassination. Whether you save him or kill him...give it your all." Mr. Karasuma told us.

I looked in the empty space between me and Karma and couldn't help but frown a bit, if Y/n left, class would not be the same without her.

"Yes sir!" The class told him, but I did not say it with them.

Kayano looked up at me,

"Are you okay?" She asked

I looked down at the ground. "I...I don't...know..." I answered honestly. Kayano looked around before she looked back at me.

"Hey, where'd Y/n head off too? I thought she'd be back by now after she stormed off! I'm sure she'd know what to do to cheer you up!!" Kayano tried to comfort me.

It didn't work, in fact I felt worse. I few tears welled in my eyes and then collided with the dirt at my feet,

"I'm not sure she's ever coming back..." I answered Kayano. I tried to smile at her to show that it was okay though, "And if she doesn't th-that's her choice...that's fine too!!" I said through my tears.

No amount of convincing would ever get me to admit that I don't already miss her.
