||Chapter 25!!||

||Y/n's P.o.v||

 After dancing around the subject of the kiss and telling Nagisa I thought we were fighting because we hadn't talked much, he believed me and I went home. I thought that fibbing a bit to him would fix my embarrassment, but only having that brief conversation with him, and coming to school the next day would be the ultimate test.

When I had walked into the class—I was on time, but I was last per usual— I walked in not fully knowing what was going. "A drama festival?!" was all I heard my classmates say. Koro Sensei nodded at me and greeted me with his usual good morning and I said good morning back while I made my way over to my desk. Once I sat down, Maehara began expressing his concerns to Isogai who was standing in front of the Teacher's desk. Koro Sensei was off to the side. I had no idea what was going on, and I wasn't even late!!

"Now, when we're about to take entrance exams??" Maehara asked Isogai.

 "I complained to Asano about it at the student council meeting, but he shot back that is was training to memorize lines and stage directions in a short period of time. That, since it's us we'll figure it out..." Isogai sighed out.

"Nice." Nakamura commented

"Nagisa Nagisa!" Karma exclaimed.

I looked over to my right, and Karma had disappeared. It was like he had teleported, because he was now near Okuda showing Nagisa some red poster, "You should play the lead!" He suggested. I didn't have to see the poster to know it was probably something stupid, like Nagisa playing the role of a girl or something. I dug in my backpack, getting ready to throw a book at Karma when Kanzaki said,

"What about you, Kayano? The kids were really into your play at the preschool."

"Huh? But I—"

"---Like that'll work with a junior high audience! They ain't gonna see themselves in some pint-sized player!" Terasaka commented from all the way at the back of the classroom.

Terasaka then began to laugh, but Kayano threw her bag at his face to silence him. "I'd like to work on props." She said as she cleaned off her hands. I quickly covered my mouth to refrain from laughing outwardly. Anytime that douche bag gets hurt, it just brightened my day and him getting hit in the face was the highlight of my morning.

"Okay, so for our main staff," Isogai gathered the class' attention, "We have Mimura the director, and Hazama'd make a good writer. As for our leads..."

"I want to play the lead." Koro Sensei spoke up.

His whole face was pink. Instantly the class began shooting at him. I pulled my gun out as well so that I could have some early morning fun too.

"Yeah right! You, a state secret?" One of the boys in the class pointed out.

"I want to play the lead..." He said again as he dodged all of our bullets.

"We can't be putting a huge grown-up on stage anyway!!" Sugino hissed.

"B-but I've always wanted to be the lead in a play! And I want to stand on the same stage with you all!!" Koro Sensei tried to reason with us.

No one in the class was having it though and we continued to spray bullets all over the classroom. It wasn't until Hazama said "Sure. I've got just the thing." that the entire class stopped shooting and Koro Sensei stopped moving. She then continued with saying, "A play that'll satisfy the wishes of both assassin and the target!" Koro Sensei turned pink again and a huge smile was plastered across his face.

"Okay! Here's our chance!" Isogai exclaimed,

"Let's whip those main campus mooks into a storm of excitement!" Maehara added.

The day of the festival, I was glad to be working behind the stage instead of actually acting on it. I'm an athlete not a performer, so I get stage fright easily. I was lucky too, because in original writing of the play, my classmates thought that I would make a good lead because of how...'big my emotions were...' or whatever that means.

Happily, I controlled the lights with Nagisa. It was a simple job, for a simple girl such as myself and although I was still too afraid to talk to him, he saved my skin during the production more than once. While watching from offstage, I almost missed my cues more than once due to how eery the whole story was!! If it weren't for Nagisa pushing my hand on the switches I was supposed to be moving, the whole thing would have been thrown off. Of course, I didn't let him know this, in fact every time he touched my hand and did my job, I yanked it away from him. Not because I was embarrassed at that point, but because Sugino's acting scared the crap out of me!! He did such a good job acting that he scared me into thinking he was deranged.

Once the play was over, the audience felt the same way I did because they all shouted that our play was too heavy for them. Some even said that it ruined their appetite. There was basically an uproar of protests and emotions coming form the main campus crowd. I heard Hazama chuckle and say,

"Funny how words can leave marks."

I couldn't help but agrees seeing as how they audience was now throwing food on the stage. I wondered who was going to have to clean that up...I felt bad for that person...

"Come on!!" We called out to Koro Sensei as he made his way off the stage and back to us.

He was dressed up as a peach and a tall table. He was pink and still smiling like a goofy idiot as if the audience wasn't just hurling anything they could get their hands on at him. Quickly...we got out of there.
