||Chapter 20!!||

||Y/n's P.o.v||

 Once the second-term finals were one week away, we studied our asses off. I'm also proud to say that I didn't fall asleep once! With all the extra sleep I was now getting because I finally figured out how to juggle my little brother and my school life, at school I came on time fired up and ready to learn. Sure, there were a couple times I dozed off because I was getting bored, but I stuck it out to the end! Koro Sensei also really came in handy when it came to math and science, my worst subjects. Although the studying twas hard, I made it work.

Finally, it was the day of finals. Walking into the main campus building was the worst part. One classroom we walked by was full of brainwashed zombie kids, "Kill the E Class, kill the E Class, kill the E Class..." They said. Instantly I got scared and grabbed onto Karma's arm tightly,

"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed.

"Wuss..."Karma poked my head with his finger.

I tried to bite him, "Shut the fuck up!!" I barked.

"Can you beat them Karma?" Nakamura asked him.

"Who knows?" Karma said. "If it doesn't work out, I'll just feed Y/n to them."

"HUH?!?" I shouted.

Instantly I started hitting him in the arm repeatedly, "You jerk!!" I exclaimed. Karma grabbed one my my fists before I hit him again and turned my hand so that it hurt my wrists, I let out a yelp in pain. He let go and I cradled my slightly limp wrist.

"I'm just saying, if any of them really do plan to kill me, that might slow me down, so I'll need a diversion that will keep them preoccupied for a bit..."

"You're lucky this isn't my dominant hand!!" I hissed.

Once we reached our testing room, I finally felt the pressure of Finals. Up first was English, my best...and worst subject. You'd think having an American mother would help me in this situation, and it did, it's just...I don't know how to spell very well and I was sure this test would be counting that. Other than that, I practically understood everything on there. Sure, grammar made me scratch my head a bit, but other than that, I was was golden. I beamed as I did my work. I'd totally get to play soccer with Asano now!!

"Times up!" The teacher in the room announced.

I put down my pencil, a smile on my face. I wasn't worried. I finished so early, I had to check over my answers, twice.

Now, onto social studies...I'm not even going to lie. Social studies isn't something I'm particularly interested in, so I wasn't sure just how much information my brain had retained. As soon as I read the first question, I knew this wasn't what I was going to get the top score in.

For science...I don't really want to talk about it. I didn't even get to finish my test, the questions were so hard. It wasn't even that I didn't know how to do them, it's just it took me like 10 minutes to do each question!!

Japanese...Even though it's my first language, I'm no wiz at it. The fact that we even have to take a test on our own native language never even made sense to me in their first place. I pushed through it though, and did my best. Honestly at times, it felt like I was reading a foreign languages. I had no idea what some of the things my paper was saying, but I remember a few teachings and pushed through it, hoping to never have to do anything remotely this hard in my own language ever again.

For math, I wanted to quit...This was the subject I studied the hardest for. I was never the best at math, and looking at the questions only further confirmed that. I gulped and put my pencil to the paper. After actually reading the questions though, I realized that they weren't as hard as I originally thought. I knew I wouldn't get anything close to a perfect score, but I wasn't worried about failing the test either. Since I struggled with remembering equations, Koro Sensei had taught me lots of acronyms for every equation so that it would be easier to remember, and they actually worked!! The closer I go towards the end, the more hesitant I was to write answers. There was this really hard question that I thought I didn't know the answer to, but then I remembered Karma had taught me the exact particular solution to the problem just last week! I quickly wrote down my answer, making sure to show all my work. Every harrowing step. For the last equation, with my IQ...I just knew I wasn't going to be able to solve it.
