Failure.
Failure.
Failure.
Failure.

Day after day, Akuma after Akuma, Ladybug and Chat would still win. Adrien growled as he watched his defeat on the news. He need an Akuma so strong that it killed the two. Nooroo watched as Adrien cracked the room as he tried to crush it in his hand. He needed to break something, anything! If only he had Plagg.

Plagg.

He hadn't seen him in a few years. He missed him. He liked that annoying cheese loving cat Kwami a lot more then Nooroo. Nooroo, he was way to passive while Plagg would stand his ground until he realized it wasn't his place. He missed the smell of that stinking Camembert. The older it was, the smellier it got so he always got it news so it wouldn't smell up his room. He actually enjoyed smelling like cheese.

He looked down and sighed. He really missed all of his friends. He wanted this to all be one big dream. He felt a hand cup his cheek and he looked up, seeing Marinette in a white strapless dress and her hair lying on her shoulders. He's never saw her like this. Only in the last outfit he saw her in or, as Ladybug. "Adrien."

His eyes teared up. Her voice was so soft. He's surprised he still remembered what it sounded like. He closed his eyes shut. "Y-you're not real."

"You're, right," he looked at her. "I'm not real, that's why you need to move on."

"What?"

"You need to move on from me, find someone new to love. I'm gone, and not coming back." She cupped both of his cheeks and sat next to him on the couch.

"But you can! You told me if I got both of our miraculous' that-"

"I told you when I didn't even know myself. I could've been lying," his eyes were full of tears. He loved her so much and now, she's gone for good. One of her hands moved from his cheek to tracing her fingertips against his arm. He winced and she pulled away her hand. "Why did you do this to yourself?"

"You told me too."

"Adrien, it's the guilt. I'm dead, right now, I'm just the good side of your brain telling you it wasn't your fault and that you need to move on. The other side, the side that told you to do this, is the guilt. You didn't kill me, you were doing your job."

"I just miss you so much." Tears seeped out of his eyes and Marinette pursed her lips, then letting out a deep sigh.

"I know Adrien but you didn't have to do this," she pointed to his scares then the TV. "Or that. You didn't need to turn evil and shut your friends out. I'm always here," she pt her hand on his chest, his heart was beating. He wish it wouldn't. "You still have a life ahead of you and you can live it, you just need to let go of me."

"How can I when I miss you so much."

"Talk with people, Adrien. Try talking with people you trust, who still miss me too. Please, let go of me," he couldn't. He tried to touch her cheek but his hand went through her. she held his cheek. "You can't touch me, I'm not here."

"I love you." His voice broke.

"You're only saying that because I'm dead. It's the guilt. You never loved me, you loved Ladybug." He knew she was right.

"I really, really miss you."

"I know," she sweetly smiled at him. He smiled back. "I have to go now. You won't see me again."

"C-can I have a kiss before you go?" Adrien wanted to kiss her. He needed too. He hasn't had his first kiss yet, might as well be with a girl he loved in the mask.
