Chapter 3

Olivia's POV-
Two thirty AM- near a hotel near the forest-

-I'm going to break a leg, literally-

I got up slowly, unnaturally, the bones in my leg weren't as destroyed as a normal persons' bones should be after a fall from the height I fell from. The only injuries were the large scrape going from my foot to halfway up my thigh, and a possible fracture or sprain in my leg. I slowly try to walk away limping my way towards the forest as if I only walked slowly.

An Akuma was flung in my direction because of Lavi and his style of using his own innocence. The Akuma flung in my direction slowly came to a stop and turned to face me, it cocked its guns and slowly angled all of them to face me while being able to hit my body. It was about to shoot when it blew up when Allen shoot it with his innocence. I trudged my body slowly towards the hotel and sat down wincing in pain when I noticed the large scrape on my forearm.

I decided to take care of the souls belonging to the already destroyed Akuma. I closed my eyes and hummed London bridge to myself and continued until reaching the end noticing the large crack that appeared in the concrete next to me traveling up the hotel. Another explosion sent a seemingly larger crack up the hotel on my other side and the two connected as balcony above me started to crumble.

I started to hum London bridge again. The balcony fell down towards the Earth and I couldn't do anything about it. The world seemed to slow down. If I left my body before the balcony crushed me, I would have to wait until my body was stable enough to re-enter it without to many consequences, and if I stayed in my body, there was always the chance I could die or end up being conscious the whole time and live with what I assumed to be at least a couple of hours of miserable pain.

"My fair lady." Were the last words that came out of my mouth before the balcony crashed onto my body. Luck just wasn't on my side today, I was what I guessed was conscious, because I couldn't be dead and I definitely wasn't in my souls' body. I would've screamed if had enough energy, but I didn't even have the will to keep breathing in this dusty air created by the falling building piece.

It was obvious that somebody would notice that I got crushed by a pice of building right? I slowly started to drift in and out of consciousness as I slowly stopped being as focused on keeping a reality check in place. 'I'll probably wake up in a month if I really am that deprived of sleep...' I thought as I gave up my consciousness to catch up on the sleep I've been missing out on these past few weeks.

Allen's POV-
Three AM- outside of the hotel-

I slowly sat down after defeating the last Akuma and looked around for the others. I spotted a balcony that was now a pile of rubble on the ground, something about it seemed wrong so I walked up it to check it out. As I got closer, I noticed a red liquid coming out of the pile. • • • It was BLOOD.

"Hey! Lavi! Lenalee! There's someone or something under here!" I yelled in their direction while rushing to remove the rubble. Lavi and Lenalee ran up to me and helped with removing the rubble. I had just removed a large piece and saw what looked to be a hand. "Hey, I think I found someone's hand!" I said removing more stones. When we were done with the stones we uncovered what I thought to be the girl from earlier, Olivia.

"Her injuries look way to severe to simply walk away without any permanent damage done to their life. If we leave her in a hospital and go back home, she might have problems getting home. For all we know, she could be a traveler and was walking the whole way to this town!" Lenalee said. She did have a point, Olivia's right foot looked like it was either crushed into being unusable, or could have been permanently paralyzed.

"I think my brother could invent something of the sort that could help her out." Lenalee continued, "We can start by keeping her in the local hospital until she reaches a point for her to travel without worsening her injuries, and then we can take her to the Black Order with us if she wants."

"Then let's do it! What's your input Allen?" Lavi replied to Lenalee and asked me. I wasn't exactly sure that she was safe to others, but she was a human AND she said she needed to visit the Black Order for some strange reason.

"Sure! She did say she needed to give something to the Black Order!" I replied to the others.

Still Allen's POV
Three thirty AM- Local hospital-

"NO!"

"What do you mean no? She's injured and can die if she's not treated properly soon enough!" I said to the reception woman. Why would a doctor refuse to treat the injured when it's their job?

"Well good for that thing! It's a demon! Some witch! It's the only reason that thing could be alive! Just look at it! That forehead has proof that it's a demon!" The woman at the front desk yelled. "It's going to curse us! The whole reason people haven't touched that forest is because it'll curse anyone in it's home!"

"Even if you think she's some demon of sorts, can't you at least treat her until she wakes?" I asked, "Under your logic, she won't curse anyone if she doesn't know since anyone in the timeframe that she's been unconscious, she won't know that you did anything." I reasoned.

"Fine. You pay and it stays until it wakes. Then you get it out." The desk woman said. She scribbled down on her paper and gave it to her assistant. A few minutes later and Olivia was moved to a hospital room.

"I wonder what that woman meant by her forehead having proof of her being a demon" Lavi questioned. He walked to Olivia's bed and brushed her long bangs to the side to see why she's some demon. "Uh, guys? She has.. uh, innocence in her forehead." Lavi quietly muttered.
