I walked along the road with Johnny, Ten, and Jaehyun. Jeno, Chenle, and Jisung pushed carts and laughed about stupid things.

Johnny shoved me forward. "Keep walking."

"I'm not your prisoner." I glared back at him.

He pulled his gun. "Wanna rethink your attitude?"

I grabbed his wrist and moved the gun up to my head. "Pull the trigger. I have nothing left and you don't scare me."

"Ok well let's not." Ten took the gun from Johnny's hand.

I sighed and continued walking. "Fucking bullshit."

Ten caught up with me. "Hey I'm sorry about all this, Johnny's a really hard ass. What's your name?"

"Ava, Yoon Ava."

"Ok Ava, I'm Chittaphon but they call me Ten obviously, have you been alone this whole time?"

Johnny shoved passed me and Jaehyun followed him.

"No, I was with my brother and his group. We got attacked by a herd. Jeonghan told me to run, I did. I haven't seen them since." I sighed.

"How many was there?" Ten asked.

"14, included me. What about you guys?"

"19..er 16. We lost Lucus, Kun, and Jungwoo a few weeks back to a group of corpses. They were being stupid, trying to save some kid and got swarmed. The kid made it out but didn't live long."

"Was he bit?"

"No, Johnny lost it and stabbed him, watched him bleed out. It's was the scariest moment of my life. He hasn't been the same since." Ten stared at the little ones pushing the carts. They were laughing crazily.

"Yeah, after you kill someone... you aren't the same."

Rrah!!

I stared for a moment at the corpse that was reaching out for Ten.

"Hyung!" Ten yelled. A corpse had ahold of his arm.

I grabbed the knife from Ten's side and slammed it almost entirely through it's head.

Ten fell to the ground and just stared.

Johnny knelt down next to him. "Are you ok? Did it bite you?"

"No, I'm ok." Ten spoke.

I flicked the blood off Ten's knife and handed it back to him. "There will probably be more, we need to move now."

"You don't call the shots around here." Johnny stood up and towered over me.

"Well then you can go ahead and stay here, get killed I won't care but I'm getting Ten and the little ones out of here." I held my hand out to Ten.

He took my hand and got up.

"What the do you think you're doing?" Johnny asked.

"Whatever the fuck I want." I started to walk off with Ten.

"She's right Johnny, we need to get out of here." Ten spoke.

"But.."

"She just saved my fucking life, Johnny shut up!" Ten yelled.
