I held my knife steady as watched the sun start to set. I opened the back door to the store. One came out at me.

"Aim for the head." I mumbled. I slammed the knife through the side of it's head.

It fell on to ground and another came out, it tripped over the body and smashed it's head into the pavement. I drove my knife through the back of it's head.

I turned to see a herd of about 20 were heading my way. "Fuck." I went in and closed the door. I took a flashlight out of my pocket and shone it around. 

No dead bodies, walking or other wise. There was a couch, it was a break room. I walked forward and sat my backpack down on a table. I pulled out a lighter and a candle. I lit the candle and let the wax dip onto the table, I stuck the candle in the wax and picked up my bag.

There was a couch, I started pushing it towards the door.

"Jeno run!" I heard a voice outside, it sounded like a child.

I peeked out the door, there were 3 kids running towards me with the dead in both directions.

"Jeno!" I yelled.

The three boys looked towards me.

"Get in here quick!"

They started towards me.

I could smell the rotten flesh, the eyes of the corpse met mine. I pulled my knife and stabbed it before it could touch me.

The boys ran passed me inside. I stepped back and slammed the door closed. I locked it and the couch was automatically pushed in front.

I sighed and sat down on the floor. "What the hell were you doing out there alone, so close to dark?"

"We were just trying to grab some wood from somewhere to make sure there was enough."

All I could see was that there were 2 blondes and 1 with black hair.

"How did you know my name?" The one with black hair asked.

"I heard 1 of you guys shout it, I thought it would be the easiest way to get your attention." I stood up.

"Why did you help us?" Jeno asked.

"You're just kids, you don't deserve a death like that. Being ripped apart by a walking corpse." I opened my bag.

"Jeno we need to get back."

"No." Jeno and I said in unison.

"What?"

"If we go back now, we'll get ripped to pieces before we even get close. We stay the night and then go back in the morning." Jeno sat on the couch.

"What about her?"

"Chenle, we should bring her with."

"What?" Chenle and Jeno looked over at who seemed to be the youngest.

"She saved us."

"Are you crazy Jisung?" Jeno asked.

"TY would flip and Johnny or Jaehyun would kill her." Chenle said.

"It doesn't matter to me." I handed them each a water bottle and granola bar. "As long as you guys get back to your group safe and sound. Eat and then go to sleep. You guys can argue in the morning."

"You don't have to give us..."

I placed my hand on Jeno's chest. "I can feel your ribcage. Asian or not, that's not healthy."

"Ahh Noona I..."

"Just eat and go to sleep." I pulled a blanket from my bag and handed it to Jeno.

"I.."

"Just shut up kid, huh?" I unzipped my jacket and put on my big hoodie from my bag. I blew out the candle and laid down on the floor.

I heard whispering for a few minutes and then complete silence.
