Star Trek/DC x reader
Warning- I've never seen Star Trek, even though it looks way better then Star Wars. I'm just going off of things I've seen and heard about it. (Which is very little) BTW, I'm not really sure what this is, but whatever. And since this story is mature now. Fuck
"Twenty push-ups, now."
The kids reluctantly got on the floor and started to doing push-ups.
"Umm.. Are you sure-" began Robin.
I cut him off.
"No talking back."
I know, I know. I'm horrible with children. What do you expect? I spent most of my life living in the woods (literally), I have trouble talking with everyone.
After Kid Flash struggled on his 5th push-up, I decided to intervene. Intervene who? Myself?
"Alright, no more push-ups." They all gave out sounds of happiness.
"No more training today. I expect to see you all tomorrow. I want you all here by midnight."
"Midnight?" Miss Martian questioned.
"Did I stutter?" I asked harshly.
She looked away. I gave out a sigh as soon as they all left the room. I sat on the bench and leaned against the wall.
I don't know how Black Canary did this. These kids always complained and asked questions. It was very disrespectful. I don't know how they don't get punished for acting so unmannered all the time.
But, Batman had asked me to train them while Black Canary was on vacation with Green Arrow. I couldn't disrespect Batman, even if my heart and soul wanted to. It did anger me that they went on vacation, though. Heroes don't get vacations. Saving life's is a 24/7 job.
Sighing again, I got up and left Mount Justice.

As soon as the zeta beam zapped me to Ink Central, I took off my helmet, and shook my hair out. I ran my fingers through it. After taking off my armor, I put on a jacket and jeans. I tied the left sleeve of my jacket up so it wouldn't get annoying just swinging there.
Grabbing the suitcase that held my armor, I walked home.

I zeta beamed into Mount Justice at about noon. No one was there, except maybe Red Tornado. But I didn't bother checking for him. The children were all in school. It was a Monday.
I walked into the training room and set my suit case down. I walked toward the middle of the arena. I grabbed a katana with my right hand (my only hand) and starting hitting a holographic dummy.
You see, when you lose your dominant arm, it's probably wise to learn how to use your other hand just as much. But the thing is, you can never do anything as good as you did it before. Doing anything with one hand is hard, but you get used to it.
My right arm was very strong and I could handle a lot of weight on it. But if someone put their whole weight on it, my strength would flounder. I hated it. But that's why I made a suit.
After a while, I started getting tired and decided to take a break. I may talk and act like a robot, but I'm human.
I noticed him as soon as he walked in.
"(Y/N)." I gave him a nod. I hated it when people used my real name, but when he said it, it sounded nice.
"Is there a reason you're making the children train at midnight on a Monday?" He sat down next to me.
"If they want to be heroes, they need to learn that crime can happen any time. Even midnight on a Monday. I thought, if anyone would understand, it would be you, Bruce."
He set a hand on my shoulder, and I tried not to think about what he said after.
"They're children. They'd shouldn't even be up at night fighting crime."
I knew, at that moment, he was right and I was wrong. But I didn't let that stop me.
I sighed and said something I would probably regret later.
"Just remember, you're the one who made Richard into who he is today."
I left, hoping that Bruce wouldn't be too hurt by what I said.

As the children gathered in the training room, I sat in the main room. I was waiting for this last person to arrive. I watched them through a security camera.
"Where is Zedwa?" Artemis asked.
"Who cares. Where's Robin?" Wally responded.
I tried not to let that hurt me. I was rude to them, I shouldn't expect anything different from them.
Once I saw Robin walk in, I grabbed my suit case and walked through the training door.
They didn't notice me at first, but Robin did.
"(Y-."
"You address me as Yedwa," I said loudly while inspecting the team. They all turned around and gave weird looks at me.
I'm not sure how he knows my name, but I'm not going to question it. He is Batmans son. I looked over at the rest of the team.
"I understand I may look odd to you without my suit on, but tonight, no one will be wearing their suit."
They all started at me. I guess, I would stare too. They've never seen me without armor on. I must have looked vulnerable too, with only one arm. I choose to wear a short sleeve shirt so it was much more noticeable.
"You have hair?" Wally questioned.
I reached up and touched it.
"Yes, I believe so."

"Welcome to Ink Central," I said monotonously.
"Woah," Wally started, "Where are we?"
"Ink Central," I replied. He blushed and fumbled over his words. I sighed and put a hand on his shoulder. He froze.
"I apologize for my sarcasm. Get used to it."
I started to walk forward.
"This is where I grew up, and continue to live today."
I stopped so they could admire my house.
"Ink Central originates from my mind. It's succumbs to my every thought."
To prove this, I changed the scenery around us.
Looks of shock surrounded me.
"But, how is that possible?"
"I'm not sure, Robin."
I picked a flower and gave it to him. He looked uncertain but took it.
"Do you hear that?" Superboy asked.
Everyone gave him a weird look. No sound came from here. The only sound came from our voices. It was always deathly silent inside Ink Central. And that's why I loved it.
"Whatever, never mind," he huffed and crossed his arms.
"So why do you you call it Ink Central?" Artemis asked.
"It is what my husband used to call it. It just stuck," I said.
They all gasped.
"Husband!"
"John Ink." I gave a soft smile at the memory of my long gone husband.
"We were married for only 10 years, a time that was cut far too short."
It was a normal day at Ink Central. John was outside doing who knows what, and I was tending to the garden. John usually left for the day, and came back when the sun set. It was our schedule. I never knew what he did while he was gone, and he didn't bother to ask what I did while he was gone.
But this worked for us. We had been together for so long, we had to take breaks once in a while. John had proposed to me 10 years ago, but we've been together for about 50 years. It took him 40 years to gather the courage to propose to me.
I smiled and wiped my hands on my jeans. I looked up at the sun, and decided it was too hot of a day. Instantly, a breeze cooled me down.
Still smiling, I went inside to house to get a drink of water.
Suddenly the front door slammed open.
"(Y/N)!" Johns voice carried throughout the house.
"John!" I yelled back. He ran into the kitchen, sweat running down his body. I frowned at this.
"What's wrong?"
"I met her- I met you. I know what you want. I'm so sorry I didn't know and... and I made a deal with her to make you happy but now I think something bad is gonna happen to us.. I'm so sorry, I love you so much! Forgive me!"
All these words came out at once causing me to get lost in what he said.
"John?" I questioned.
"I..."
The words were caught in his throat as he tried to talk.
"I..."
He tried again.
Nothing happened.
I'm not going to write anything more, sorry. Hope that wasn't too sucky.
