Robin I x reader
This is based off of a story I read about Dick Grayson. They were in love and stuff, but then the reader sent Dick's BFF's brothers to jail. So everyone hated her, even though she was just being controlled, and it wasn't her. So then this random superhero offers her a new life in a new dimension where Dick absolutely loves her. Everyone just wanted her gone, even though she did nothing! Gabe is such a bitch, I've hated her from the start. She gets whatever she wants and she's perfect. 😷So reader agrees, and she got to this place and was smooching Dick Grayson. This story just left a bad taste in my mouth.
You do something so horrible, everyone you know hates you and wants you gone (or in Nightwing's case, dead). How will you respond? Will you take the easy route of running away, or even do something drastic, like commit suicide? Or will you fight for everyone's trust again, and tell them the truth? Even though you will go so much physical and mental pain? How strong are you?

Series of flashbacks
"This is your new teammate, Hysteria," Batman said. I was standing beside him, my hands shaking behind my back. I was nervous. I didn't really like being around other people, so my mentor thought it would be a good idea if I worked with other kids around my age.
"Welcome, I'm Aqualad," one boy said and stepped up to me. He put his hand out, and smiled at me. Our hands shook, and I put my gloved hand behind my back again. I also hated physical contact. I was always so scared I would hurt someone if i touched them. I was so weak.
--
I glared at my opponent as we circled each other.
"Scared?" He smirked. I said nothing. Showing emotions was a bad thing, especially when it can destroy the minds of everyone around you. Make them go hysterical...
"Go Robin!" Kid Flash yelled from the side. This is when I made my move. Flipping the baton in my hands, I ran towards him, but he dodged and swung behind me. His baton skimmed my back as I turned around.
This was when Zatanna decided to walk in. Robin couldn't see her though, as his back was turned to her.
"Zatanna! What are you doing here?" Kid Flash walked up to her, smiling. Robin turned his head.
"Just visiting my only friends in the world," she said and looked at Robin.
Robin was distracted, by a girl; how funny, so as quietly as ever, I pounced on his back, flipped him over, and held the baton to neck.
"Robin: fail." The computer system said when his face made contact with the ground.
He didn't move, by then suddenly he started laughing. Not a normal laugh, but like he was going crazy. Quickly I got off of him and tried to stay calm. He didn't get up.
"Robin?" Zatanna question. Calming myself, I entered Robin's mind, where everything was red and blurry. I breathed in, and the poison I must have accidentally injected into him, figurative poison, filled into my body. I was kicked out of Robin's mind when he gained his consciousness back.
"Zatanna," he moaned as he passed out.
--
"I knew this was going to be a bad idea!" My mother screamed. My mentor, Commander Pluto AKA Warren Bojum, was arguing with her about my position on the team. She thought I was going to hurt someone and that I didn't belong on the field. Warren thought this was a great opportunity for me, and that if I didn't practice my powers, I would get dangerous.
I didn't know who to agree with. My mother was right; I'm dangerous and I already hurt a team member. I'm weak and can't control my powers. But Warren was right also, the presence of my powers was always strong in the back of my head, and if my mind ever wandered, my powers could do whatever it wanted. It was like it had it's own conscience. A horrible, evil, powerful being with the intent of hurting everyone who dared talk to me. I needed to practice it.
"With all due respect, you're completely wrong! This was never a bad idea. This will be the best thing for her." He paused.
"She has no friends, and she's scared to show even a little bit of emotion. She just needs a little help, that's all. She'll be our little girl again in a little while, just you wait," his voice got quiet.
What does he mean by that?
I knew my mother was crying when I heard Warren saying comforting things. My mother has always been a silent crier.
"I miss my baby!" She cried quietly.
"I miss her too," Warren said. My eyebrows furrowed in a confused manner. What the hell was he talking about?
---
"Hello Robin," I said as I passed by him in the hall. He flinched, and kept walking. I stopped and turned around. A red fog was still surrounding him. I must not have cleared his head of my venom yet.
"Robin, I can help you." I said. He stopped.
"By making me go crazy again?" He asked. I said nothing.
"Have you been having nightmares?" I questioned.
He turned his head, and I gave him a small smile.
He finally turned around completely.
"Why didn't you go to Miss Martian?" I asked and walked towards him slowly.
"I did. She said that she got lost in my brain, and that the deeper she went, the more it hurt."
I always knew I was powerful. But more powerful then Miss Martian? That's saying a lot.
I noticed the way he slumped his shoulders when I took a deep breath.
"This won't hurt at all," I said as I entered his mind.
The red fog completely encased me. This was weird, I was almost certain I had gotten rid of all the fog. I breathed in as much fog as I could, and traveled throughout his brain, in case I was missing something. I didn't want to have to do this again. I kept away from his memories, because I knew he wouldn't want me knowing too much about him.
I stopped as I noticed another presence behind me. I turned around, and was surprised to find myself, except with a different eye color. Her eyes were glowing, and she had her hands clasped around her back, something that I did often.
"Hello," She said. I tried getting rid of her with my mind, but she only moved her foot a little. What was this? How come I couldn't get rid of it?
"That isn't going to work," she said, not really looking at me, but past me. This couldn't have been caused by me. This was something else entirely.
"What are you doing inside Robin's head?"
"I should ask you the same thing."
I blinked, and suddenly my mom was standing there.
"I think I'm here to get rid of you," I said.
She put her hands on her hips, elbows outward, like my mother does whenever she is aggravated. Okay, this was a bit creepy. This thing knew about the littlest habits my mom and I have.
"I think you're here to make amends for something you didn't do."
Cautiously, I took a step forward.
"What do you mean?"
"Did you ever wonder how Robin was affected by your power, when your emotions were completely in check, and the only skin that was showing was your face?"
I narrowed my eyes.
"What are you trying to say?"
She laughed.
"I'm trying to say you're not alone."
If someone else said that, at a different time with a different tone of voice, I'd find this comforting. But it was her. She said it. And it sent shivers down my spin.
"I'll stop giving Robin nightmares for a while, just so he can think you actually succeeded in here, but he will be disappointed when they come back, 10 times worse."
"I won't be leaving alone," I threatened.
She merely laughed and breathed in. Next thing I know I'm on the ground, and Robin is sitting on the hallway across from me. His head was tilted down, and he wasn't showing any signs of moving. I was beginning to panic, so I crawled over to him and brought his head up. I couldn't tell if his eyes were open or not.
I put my gloved fingers on his neck, hoping this would work. I felt a small bump, and let out the breath I didn't know I was holding.
Standing up, I reached down and picked him up. He was decently light. I carried him bridle style down the hallway, to the med bay. His head rolled on my chest, and he groaned.
"Shh, its gonna be okay." I whispered.
---
I woke up to the feeling of someone messing with my fingers.
Jerking awake, I pulled away and was surprised to see Robin.
I stood up, my chair screeching against the ground. I wasn't wearing an gloves, and Robin was just touching my hands. Why was he touching my hands? What, that doesn't matter. What matters is where my gloves are.
"Hysteria," he said trying to talk to me.
This was crazy. He was touching my hands, and yet he wasn't laughing like a maniac. I haven't felt human contact in so long. Not skin on skin. I shivered as I rubbed my fingers. This must have something to do with that girl. The girl with the glowing eyes. The girl who was in in Robin's head.
"Hysteria," he tried again. I felt a tear slip down my face and I reached up with my bare hands to wipe it away. What was wrong with me? Someone just touched my hand, and I was crying.
I looked around the room, noticing it was the med bay. I walked towards the door, but stopped and turned to Robin. He was watching my intently. Suddenly, she was standing beside him. A grin on her face, she bent down, and kissed him on the forehead. He didn't move. It was quiet as I ran out, and it was quiet when I zeta beamed to my city. It was quiet as I walked home, and it was quiet when I went to bed. So very quiet.

So this is basically a fan fiction. Except shorter. I'm thinking the next part will be all flashback type things too.
Ok already working on the next part. About 1750 words.
What do you think? Excited for the next part? Tell me what you think. Requests are open.
