Batmans POV

"Sightings of a unidentifiable flying object have been reported globally. Scientists have no idea what it is, and believe that Superman-"

Alfred turned off the tv and turned to me.

"Maybe you should go for a ride, you've been hauled up in here all day." He suggested.

"I should find out what this thing is."

He gave me a look. I sighed and started to walk towards the door.

"Master Wayne."

I turned around.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Maybe you should change, first..."

I looked down, shocked. I didn't even realized I was wearing the Batman suit still. I'm just so used to wearing it.

After changing and grabbing my keys, I walked out to my car. I drove out to my parents graves, and turned off the car. Walking towards the headstones, I passed by two headstones that read 'Mr and Mrs Grayson.'

I shivered as I read it. Dick was safe at the mansion. Zucco couldn't get him now. Alfred would watch him.

I looked away and stepped forward.

Riddicks POV

We were hurdling toward Earth at scary speeds. I was a bit scared, but I wouldn't admit that in front of Fry.

"Ah. Home sweet home," I commented loudly. Fry clung to my shoulders.

"We're gonna die. We're gonna die."

I rolled my eyes at her. She couldn't see, with goggles and all.

"Calm down."

She was ready to respond but the ship shook and was turned sideways. Fry and I fell into the window with a bang. I heard the glass crack slightly, but didn't say anything. Fry looked up.

"You need to see this, Riddick."

I couldn't exactly move at the moment. My back was pressed against the wall and Fry was above me, clinging on to me for dear life.

I gave her a pointed look and she blushed. She tried pushing herself off of me, but was pushed back by gravity. She landed on me again. I sighed and pushed her off me. She landed on the glass and scowled at me.

I finally looked up and what I saw shocked me.

We were zooming around Earth, not heading straight for it.

This wasn't right. Ships don't just suddenly turn while going at lightning fast speeds.

"What the hell?" I said while trying to understand what was happening. Fry gave me a confused look.

The ship kept turning and the glass cracked a little more. Fry noticed it this time, and she tried to move away.

"Stop moving," I commanded.

As the ship started to slow down and eventually stop, I noticed something very... odd.

CLIFFHANGER? wth JLM I know (yes I call myself that now) Don't worry, this will be continued when I feel like it. Just for the giggles, I was going to call this chapter... Batdick. (You know- BATman + RidDICK) ok ok I'm so sorry
