Green Goblin: Wakey Wakey. Time to wake up Spider-man.

Slowly Spider-man opens his eyes while letting out a groan. He find himself sitting against a flag pole with the American flag above it and sees the Green Goblin standing over him.

The two are standing on the Manhattan Bridge with a veiw of New York City in the distances. Spider-man tries to move but his body was not responsive while the Green Goblin notice his movement and spoke.

Green Goblin: You're finally awake. Worried you'll miss out a lot.

Spider-man: Harry.....

Green Goblin: Tch, Tch, Tch, poor and naive Spider-man. Still holding on to hope that I would return back to the side of good, right? Well unfortunately that's not gonna happen.

Spider-man was too wake to speak to more while the Green Goblin came up and then kneel down in front of him and tells him.

Green Goblin: You wanna know something Spider-man? I choose my path while you choose your own path and that path is being a hero. But you want to know something sad. The whole world find you and other hero's amusing. Whenever there is a villain vs hero battle, they will stop whatever they are doing and watch as two powerful beings fight like it is a large arena. News channels, reporters and innocent people are all watching with amusement. Including you. But it will not last long. See, there is one thing that people live more than a hero; it is to see a hero fail and fall, die trying in spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they'll hate you. So, why bother continue doing this heroic act if people will eventually grew tired and hate you.

Spider-man try to speak but he was too wake which tye Green Goblin then sat next to him and tells him.

Green Goblin: I'm I wrong? That Jameson guy hates you even though you saved his life. Or what about times people say negative things and yet you didn't notice. They priest hero's like Superman is because he's humanities beacon of hope.....what about you? A Friendly neighbourhood Spider-man? Well that's not just gonna cut it. Face it. Even if you save the Justice League and Batman that one time, eventually they will forget and see you nothing than just a background character for them.

He then gets up and then he pulls out a detonator while he tells Spider-man.

Green Goblin: That being said; I'll blow up this city and their so call "hero" will not arrive. Your team may od may be caught from the blast while trying searching for you but.....they'll be busy taking care my men and the chaos that is going on in the city.

Spider-man: Harry......no.

Green Goblin: It's all over Spider-man. You failed and I won.

He was about to press the trigger when suddenly Mary Jane tackle him and then snatch the detonator out of his hand. The Green Goblin tries grabbing her but she punch him so hard, his helmet came out.

Mary Jane steps back while a expose face of Hardy Osborne is shown as he stare at her and then slowly approaches her.

Mary Jane: Harry, listen to me. I know you're still in there. Snap out of it. This isn't you.

He keeps approaching her while she takes a few steps back until she was at the edge. Spider-man tries fighting the drug effects while Mary Jane extends his hand over the edge which she is holding the detonator and tells him.

Mary Jane: Take one more step and I'll drop it.

He stare at her while ahead shows confidence in her face. Then he smiled and pulled out a real detonator while he says.

Harry: (smirk) Always come with a spare.

This shocks Mary Jane while Harry approaches her and then grabs her by the shoulder.

Harry: (smirk) Nice knowing you.

He then pushes off and she fell. Immediately Spider-man breaks through the drug as he sprint into action and rushes towards only for Harry to kick him back which he slides back.

Spider-man: MJ!!!

Harry: (smirk) She's dead Spider-man. Now....its your turn.

???: Not on my watch.

Harry turns back to see Mary Jane save as she is being carried by a golden armor person while using the glider.

Harry: (surprise) Father!

Norman: Please son. Let me help you.

Harry: (angry) Your son is gone! It's only the Green Goblin!

He then runs and pick up his mask and then his glider flies by and he leaps off and flies away. Norman set Mary Jane down as she rushes over and Spider-man hugs her.

Spider-man: You okay?

Mary Jane: Yeah. That's the last time I skydive.

Spider-man: (light chuckle) Agree. Norman.

Norman: Y/n.

Spider-man: How did you-?

Norman: Richard told me. Listen I'm-

Spider-man: We'll save it after we stop your son.

Norman: Right and I have a plan.

Norman then flies off while Spider-man turns to Mary Jane.

Spider-man: Call Petra for a pick up. Gonna go and end this.

Mary Jane nodes and so she kisses him through the expose lips of his mask which he kiss her back. After that she smiles and tells him.

Mary Jane: (smile) Go get em tiger.

(Epic action music start)

Spider-man nodes to her as he takes a few steps back and then turn to the edge. He takes a deep breath and then he sprints towards the edge and then jumps off.

He free falls down to the ground only to shoot his Web shooters and beings Web swinging. Mary Jane watches as Spider-man swings back to the city as we cut to him swinging through the chaotic streets where Green Goblins men are fighting the cops and the hero's in the city.

Spider-man stays focus and kept swinging and soon sees Norman ahead of him so he Web swings over next to him and then ask him.

Spider-man: You got a plan?

Norman: I do. Richard still has the cure to the insanity drug so all we have to do is to get close and inject him with it.

Spider-man: Sounds pretty easy.....like not in a good way.

Norman: Agree. But it's the best plan we got.

Spider-man: Right. Don't worry, we'll get your son back.

Norman: I know. There he is!

They see Green Goblin ahead of them while he turns back to see them. He turn his glider around and fires missiles however Norman fire his own and the two missiles clash at each other and blows up.

Spider-man and Norman flies through the smoke while Green Goblin throws pumpkin bombs at them but the avoid them.

Spider-man avoids them and then shoots a Web at the Green Goblin's glider and pulled towards him. He got onto the Green Goblins back which he attack by punching him and then tosses him away.

He was thrown back but Norman catches his hand and then he fires a blast of electricity that shuts off the Green Goblins glider and so he begins to decent.

Norman throws Spider-man towards the fallen Green Goblin as he shoots webs to form a net that catches him. Spider-man lands onto the Web net then Norman throws the cure over and he catches it.

Spider-man: Your finieh!

(Replace with intense fight music)

He throws the syringe towards the Gree Goblin but he caught his arm and then he kicks Spider-man. He then cuts the webs around him and drop down onto the street.

Norman flies down and leaps off his glider and the two have a brawl. Both son and father strike blows at each other while Spider-man is getting up.

Green Goblin: So you too use the G serum as well, huh?

Norman: Let's us help son! I don't want to lose you!

Green Goblin: Too bad!

He gets the upper hand and then he kicks Norman back which he slammed into a car and then he throws a pumpkin bomb which exploded.

Spider-man: Norman!

He turn only to be struck by the Green Goblin which cost him to be sent flying back and crash on the front of the truck. He was on the ground but he gets up and then he rushes towards the Green Goblin and shoots webs.

The webs stuck onto his chest and he pulled him towards him which he was thrown towards and then Spider-man punches him in the face.

Once on the ground Spider-man gets him up and tosses him through a window of a store as he smashes through the window.

The Green Goblin slowly gets up and looks over to see Spider-man standing at the window. Looking intimating now which the Green Goblin notice.

Green Goblin: What? No jokes? No talking? No call backs? Well, this will be interesting.

Then the two charges at each other and the two have their brutal fight. The two don't hold back anymore as they struck at each other. Each of their suits were ripped off, blood splattered onto the floor, cracks is hard within the body follow by yells.

The two masked being face each other as they they tosses each other, slammed each other until Spider-man have enough and shoots both webs onto each walls ans then pull himself back.

He walks back further and further until he launches himself and kicks him so hard, the Green Goblin slam through a few walls behind him until he ends up in the alleyway.

Rumbling thunder is soon hard follow by rain as the Green Goblin slowly gets up. He sat up and with a flash, an outline of Spider-man appears behind him.

The Green Goblin turn and seeing that he is exhausting, angry and filled nothing more than betrayal. Then the Green Goblin laughs like a psychopath while Spider-man launches and pins him to the ground.

Now lost it he reach back his fist ans struck him, over and over while the Green Goblin keeps on laughing while Spider-man continues beaten on him. Blood is splattered around as Spider-man keep punching him until he stop.

He still has his fist raised while he sees one half the Green Goblin while the other Harry Osborne as he stare at Spider-man and with a sinister smile he tells him.

Green Goblin: (smile) Finish me.

Spider-man narrow his eyes and then pulls out a syringe and then injects it onto his neck.

Spider-man: No. You may have hurt innocent people. But.....I'm still your friend.

(Intense fighting music ends)

Green Goblin stare at him for a moment before he falls unconscious. Once he is unconscious Spider-man gets off of him and sat against the wall. Soon Norman came through the wall and rushes over to his unconscious son while taking off his mask.

He hugs his son while Spider-man stare at the two and then Norman looks over at Spider-man and tells him.

Norman: Thank you. Thank you for saving my son.

He doesn't respond but just node. Then Spider-Girl and his team arrive and they are all shocked to see Spider-man condition. The rain continues to pour with the sounds of thunder is heard as Spider-man took off his mask and sat there.

He allows the rain pour onto him as he closes his eyes and breaths a sigh of relief that it is over. The Green Goblin.....has been defeated and New York.....is saved.
