Background: Edward lost his parents at a very young age, and since then he has had to fend for himself. The emotional impact caused by the death of his parents made him a loner and introvert. But even so, he never ceased to be someone helpful and polite, the type who always volunteered to help people with their problems. Until one night, he is chosen to wield one of the most powerful artifacts in the entire multiverse... the Power Gauntlet. A gauntlet of unknown origin, capable of using the powers of all 9 Lantern Corps. Upon accepting such a burden, he decides to become a hero, under the name of Alpha Lantern.
