Secrets of The Dead: Part 2
Trapped in Fredrick Manor with his powers weakened, X must work together with Zatanna to battle the undying Solomon Grundy.

You began to wildly stack furniture in front of the door.

Zatanna: What are you doing?

X: Didn't you hear Rox! This is zombie movie 101! We have got to prepare!

Zatanna: Or it could be, oh I don't know, a bear?

Rox: Couldn't be. Whatever is coming has no heat signature.

Zatanna: And that means?

X: It means that it has no body heat! No body heat equals no blood flow! No blood flow means dead! Zombies are dead! Now help me pile furniture in front of the door!

Zatanna: How do we get out of you blocked off the door?

X:....

Zatanna:....

X: Okay, I get rid of the barricade and we run to a more zombie survival ready room.

Zatanna: (Sigh) Just get the stuff away from the door so we can leave!

X: Okay! This is a easy fix. Just summon a hammer to break through.

You tried to summon a hammer, but couldn't.

X: Wha?

Zatanna: What's the hold up champ?

X: I don't know! My powers are not working!

Zatanna: They're not working? Why?

X: I don't know!

The sound of a door being smashed open upstairs caught your attention.

X: That is a big zombie.

Zatanna: Move! Now!

Zatanna said a magic spell in reverse, causing the furniture to disappear.

X: Wow, you really are magic.

Zatanna: Yeah, now let's go.

You proceeded up, back to the library, and discovered that it was destroyed.

X: It tore through here like a stampede.

Zatanna: Rox was right, it was big.

Rox: And it's still in the manor.

X: Where?

Rox: it's in the dining hall.

X: We should go investigate.

Zatanna: Without your powers? It's to risky.

Rox: She's right X.

X: So what am I supposed to do? Let you fight the Big Mac zombie on your own?

Zatanna: I'm not some damsel in distress, I can take care of myself.

You hesitated, but left Zatanna to battle the unknown beast.

You were going to the main door to wait for the jet when you heard a loud crash followed by a purple light in the hall leading to the dining hall.

You didn't want to leave Zatanna, so you ran down the hall.

Midway through the hall, you noticed a set of knights armor with a chain mace, and fearing the battle ahead, took the weapon.

You ran into the dining hall, and saw Zatanna,unconscious, being held in the massive hand of a grey skinned creature.

You held the chain mace in the air, prepared for battle.

X: Hey! Do you hear me!? I am X! And I will-

Solomon Grundy: Born on a Monday....

X: Wait what?

Grundy: Christened on Tuesday....

X: What are you talking about?

Grundy: Married on Wednesday!

Grundy swung the back of his fist, launching you back into the hallway.

As you tried to gain the strength to get up, Grundy picked you up, and threw you threw a wall, sending you into the courtyard.

Grundy jumped down into the courtyard.

Grundy: Grundy kill you dead for shiny head!

You stumbled up.

X: Still don't know what you're saying.

Grundy charged at you, Zatanna still in his grip.

You swung the chain mace at Grundy, hitting him in the face and stunning him.

As Grundy regained his composure, you grabbed Zatanna from his grip.

You looked up at Grundy, prepared for another swing with the chain mace.

Grundy pulled a glowing green device from the wound caused by your previous swing, and threw it aside.

Grundy: Grundy no like shiny head, shiny head hurt Grundy, green thing hurt Grundy.

X: Um....Ok?

Grundy: Grundy go home.

Grundy disappeared into the forest.

You let out a sigh of relief, as you were unprepared for another round of battle.

Zatanna: Wha-What happened?

Zatanna had recovered from her unconscious state.

X: Some zombie who I think was named Grundy hit me, pulled a green thing from his face, and left.

Zatanna: Solomon Grundy?

X: Yeah, I think so.

Zatanna: So you came back for....your hand....

X: I came back for my hand?

Zatanna: No, your hand is....

You noticed that your hand had slipped into Zatanna's lower garment, and you had touched her bun.

You both blushed as you quickly pulled your hand away.

X: I swear to god I didn't mean to!

Zatanna: I-It's okay, don't worry about it.

Zatanna said a spell in reverse, and the green object Grundy threw aside levitated into her hand.

Zatanna: This looks like a tracker.

Zatanna noticed a L symbol on the object.

Zatanna: I know that symbol.

X: What is it?

Zatanna gave you a angered look.
