Grodd sat back down in his chair, lighting more torches to better illuminate his cell.

Grodd: Batman knows where your father's Royal Arm is, and he kept it secret to keep you loyal.

X: You-You're lying....

Grodd: Then tell me, if I'm lying, why would Batman have not tracked down the Royal Arm with all his resources?

You looked down in thought.

X: There has to be a explanation....

Grodd: And on another note, have you noticed that Superman has been absent ever since you met Brainiac?

X: You know why?

Grodd: Indeed, he has been watching Noximus closely, who has struck a deal with an alien dictatorship.

X: What's the planet called?

Grodd: Apokolips.

X: So....Noximus is dealing with....

Grodd: Darkseid, which means that a invasion of Earth is eminent....and soon.

X: How soon?

Grodd: Very.

You put your hands on your waist, deep in thought.

X: So Superman knows that Noximus is ready to invade Earth with Darkseid....and Batman hid my Dad's Royal Arm from me....

Grodd: Which is crucial to defeating Noximus.

X: So they are just going to stand by and watch Earth be destroyed!?

Grodd: They want to make sure that you are ready, but at this rate, Earth will be a slave planet by then.

Grodd: All you need is the Royal Arm, and you can destroy Noximus. I should know, I have done thorough research.

You heard a rush of footsteps come down from the stairs.

Grodd: Sounds like the guards know you are here.

A group of armored Gorilla guards surrounded you, with Starfire in their custody.

Starfire: I was captured.

X: I can see that.

Guard: Step away from the cell with your hands up!

Grodd's words haunted you as the Gorilla guards took you and Starfire away.
