(Roll DA intro)

It was 6:45 AM and Kara's alarm clock is ringing until it
starts to make a news report.

The clock: "And in this morning's headlines, Superman is
at it again."

Kara then smash then clock as she groans. Later, she got
up and put on her clothes for the day and put on a set of
headphones and listen to music but instead it's a news
report about her cousin, as she walks there are things that
has Superman written all over it.

Headphones: "And after such a trying ordeal, it was all
thanks to Superman that the orphans were saved. In other
news, Superman..."

She then passes a radio that is talking about the man of
steel himself.

Radio: "Announcer: Metropolis's Big Blue Boy Scout,
Superman, a hero for all of us--"

Then a car splashes water all over Kara as a group of
tourists cheer for Superman

Tourists: "Superman! Superman! Superman!"

Kara then groan as you, rock and blues appeared.

(Y/N): "Lemme guess superman?"

Kara: "how did know?"

Blues: "he's everywhere!"

(Y/N): "I don't like him either."

Kara then walks away.

Later, you found Kara at the front lawn of the school as
she takes off the headset.

Kara: "Finally, a place where I don't have to see his
annoying face--"

Then a newspaper that has Superman on the front page
as she groans in anger. She then put the paper on the
ground and stomp on it in anger.

(Y/N): "Look Kara, I know what feeling right now and you
don't to be on the newspaper to prove that you're a hero."

Kara: "Don't you want top be on front page instead of
him!?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, but we were on the front page of a
newspaper when we and our friends saved the pier."

Kara: "That's ages ago!"

(Y/N): "Alright, we'll just talk to the editor-in-chief of the
Daily Planetoid. blues, rock you go at school I'll catch up."

Later, a girl with a tan blazer, black hair with pencils in it,
blue jeans, and pink glasses. She is currently working on
her computer.

???(Lois Lane): "Olsen! Where's my art? Layout's in five!

The girl was talking to Jimmy Olsen, the kid with the
coffee, orange hair, brown bow tie, and a green vest.

???(Lois Lane): "Cruz! ETA on the Enviro-Beat column?
Gimme words!"

Jessica: "Almost done, Lois!"

Lois then take a bite of a bagel as Jimmy shows a picture
to Lois.

Lois: "Say, that's swell, Olsen!"

Lois is about done with the front page as Kara and you
appeared. Kara then slam the laptop shut as Lois turn to
you and Kara. Lois then blush from seeing you.

Lois: "Um hi."

(Y/N): "Hey there."

Lois: "So what brings you here."

(Y/N): "You can ask Kara."

Lois then turn to Kara.

Lois: "What's buzzin', cousin?"

Kara: "Why are you printing stuff about him in the school
paper?"

Lois: "What's eatin' you, Danvers? That's a legitimate story and I'm a legitimate reporter. Got it? Now who's got a
pencil?"

(Y/N): "Uh, in your-"

Before you can finish your thought, Kara interrupted you.

Kara: "There are way more important stories out there
than Superman."

Jessica: "She's right. I've got a lead on some terrible
chemical dumping."

You then look at Jessica's evidence on some illegal
chemical dumping.

(Y/N): "Now that's for the front page for su-OW Kara!"

Kara then interrupted you by kicking your leg.

Kara: "What if I told you there was two heroes out there,
hmm? Better heroes, with all the same powers as
Superman but even awesomer."

Lois: "I like your potatoes, Danvers, but where's the meat?
What other heroes gonna get me an internship at the Daily
Planet?"

Kara: "Ever heard of Supergirl and Mega Man X"

Lois then open her laptop and type in it.

Lois: "Super who and who?"

Kara then closes the laptop again.

Kara: "Supergirl and Mega Man X"

Lois: "Eh, sounds like retreads to me. If this Supergirl of
yours did anything to earn the front page, trust me, she'd
be there. Now will someone please get me a pencil?"

(Y/N): "They're in your-"

before you can finish your thought, kara then take the
pencils from Lois' hair and break them in half and then
leave the room.

Lois: "Ah, there they are."

(Y/N): "To be honest, I was going to say theres a pencil in
your hair and the chemical dumping is front page
material, I'm so sorry."

Lois: "That's okay."

(Y/N): "Anyways you can have this"

Then you give her a solid metal pencil with a sharpener that looks like an eye.

Lois: "sweet marilyn! A solid metal pencil with an eye!"

(Y/N): "Basically that's a sharpener."

You then leave the room
and as Lois cuddles with it and then start writing some
notes on some paper.

Lois' thoughts: "Best day ever."

Later, in science class, Kara is ranting about Superman.
Steven and Connie are there in science class and they're
working on some chemicals.

Kara: ""Sounds like a retread to me." Ugh. What does that
even mean?"

(Y/N): "It means-"

Kara: "That was a rhetorical question!"

Kara then dump some potassium into a liquid chemical
as your and Karen get worried.

Karen: "Uh, um, Kara? Maybe just a few grams of that
potassium, please."

Kara then grab some lithium chloride ad dump it into the
liquid.

Kara: "If anyone's a retread it's him. Did you know I was
12 when Uncle Jor-El and Aunt Lara had him? I used to
baby-sit him back on Krypton!"

Babs: "Really? I mean, dude, that bites! No wonder you're
so mad."

Babs was holding a beaker with a pair of pliers as Diana
look at it with a smile.

Karen: "You know what's mad? Adding too much lithium
chloride.."

Kara was dumping some more powder into another
beaker and throw it away.

Kara: "I could've gone to Earth first and then everyone
would love me, but no, I had to get stuck in space stasis
while he was down here becoming a... "Man." I mean, I
have the exact same power as him. I come from the
exact same planet. I practically have the exact same
backstory--"

The chemical then exploded in Kara's face as blues summons his shield to block it.

Kara: "Oops. My bad."

Kara then turn to Karen.

Kara: "What happened? I thought you measured all this
stuff?"

Karen: "Yes, but when you add heat to highly volatile
chemicals, they--"

Kara: "Mmm-hmm, mmm-hmm. So why do they all love
him and nobody even notices me and (Y/N)?"

Rock and Blues walk over to your table and talk to
Kara.

Rock: "Look, everyone will notice you you two when the
time is right."

Blues: "Yeah, just be patient."

Babs: "Ooh! You know what you should do? Make them
notice you. Get out there and show 'em what Supergirl
and Mega Man X can do!"

(Y/N): "I don't think-"

Kara: "Yeah... Yeah!"

Diana: "A word of caution, Kara. When we seek glory, it
can sometimes blind us to the greater good."

(Y/N): *snaps fingers*"Exactly."

Blues: "You are a hero in your own way, you don't need
glory."

Kara: "Hmm. You're right. We're gonna knock his grinning
face off the front page."

Then we see her get up and leave the room.

(Y/N): "I'm gonna go with her just to be sure nothing goes
bad."

Here we see an old woman as a robber came and stole
her purse as he was making a run for it he was punched
in the face by Kara as she is Supergirl. Kara gave the
elder woman her purse back. Then Lois and Olsen were
nearby.

Lois: "Oh!"

They both ran passed Kara as they see a vehicle make its
way from the bank only to be stopped by Superman
Everyone came and started to cheer for superman as a
newspaper showed him stopping robbers as Kara
crumpled the paper into a ball. Next a train as about to
fall as Kara came and held herself between the part for
the train to pass as she looked she saw the rest of the
track destroyed as the train was about to fall.

Kara: "Ahhh! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!"

The train fell only for it to be caught by Superman as he
put it down safely as everyone began to cheer for him as
lois and Olsen were there as Kara got angry.

Next showed a building on fire as you and Kara came and
got a mother and girls out of the building but then
superman came with a water tower as he poured the
water on the building putting out the fire as the crowd
cheered for him as kara got angry from that then there
was another newspaper as Kara tore it up as you looked
at her in disappointment.

Then a meteor came down as you and Kara were trying
to stop it as it hit the Daily planet as she got it only for the
planet to fall as Superman came and caught it. At a beach
a man and woman were drowning.

woman: "Help! Help!"

Then you and Kara came and grabbed them as they were
now out of the water but the crowd were cheering in a
different direction as Kara saw Superman punching sharks
away as the crowd were cheering for him as You and Kara
were angry as another newspaper was made as Kara used
her heat vision and burned the paper into oblivion. Then
Kara stopped an oil spill from a ship, caught a bus and
stopped a bomb from blowing up by covering it up.

Kara: "Phew."

Citizen: "Yeah!"

You and Kara looked to see superman and the citizens at
a tree as he hit it and caught a cat and gave it to an old
woman as the townspeople cheered for him as he flew
away.

(Y/N): "Alright that's it!"

Kara: "Ahhh!"

You then turn into your falcon armor and then You and Kara then flew to superman.

Kara and you: "Hey. Hey! *groans* Hey!"

Superman: "Huh? What? Supergirl? Mega Man X? What are the two of you doing here? Aren't you both supposed to
be in school or something?"

Kara: Uh, it's Saturday. And what me and (Y/N) are doing
here is telling you to back off!

Superman: Back off? Ha, I don't follow.

You then got into superman's face with a glare of anger
on your face

(Y/N): Stay away from out turf Super-Deadweight.

Kara: We've been working our butts off for days trying to
save people in Metropolis. But every time we do
something to prove we're the heros, there you are--

Superman: Being the hero?

Kara: Yes! I... I mean no. Ah uh, I, I mean...

Superman: Listen, cuz, if I've told you both once, I've told
you both a million times. Being a real hero takes time and
experience. Experience I have. As an adult.

Kara: *scoffing* Adult? You were Superboy, like, last
summer!

Superman: It was two summers ago, and that's beside the
point. Accept it. You're both are just not ready.

He started to fly away as kara looked down in sadness
you then put a hand on her shoulder.

(Y/N): Don't let it get to you kara I think you make a great hero.

Kara: Thanks (y/n) and I'll show him I'm ready!

Then she flew after superman as she tried to punch him
only for him to dodged out of the way.

Superman: Oh, ho, ho! See? Not even close.

(Y/N): you got this Supergirl! Show him who's the real
hero!

Kara then attack Superman again as he dodge her attack.

Superman: "Behind you!"

Kara keeps attacking Superman as he keeps dodging her
attacks.

Superman: "Missed me! I mean, seriously, you call this
fighting?"

Kara then land a hit on him and launch him into a
building, he then got up and turn to Kara.

Superman: "You have a lot to learn, kid."

Kara: "Ha! That's what I said to you when you were potty
training!"

Superman: "You're just jealous I'm--"

Kara: "A pompous bonehead?"

Superman: "I'll show you bonehead!"

Kara: "No, I'll show you."

Then Kara and Superman head butt each other as you
head to Kara.

Kara: "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!"

(Y/N): "You okay Kara?"

Superman: "You're messing with the look."

Superman: "Stop acting like children!"

Superman then launch at kara into a nuclear silo.
Kara: "Why don't you make us, Clark?"

Kara then use arctic breath on Superman but he
dodged it.

Superman: "Don't call me Clark, Kara."

Kara: "Whatcha gonna do about it, Clark?"

Kara then use heat vision and accidentally hit a few
pipes as one of those pipes hit a switch and dump deadly
chemicals into a waste bin and then a green creature
appeared.

Lois: "Opportunity just knocked, kiddo. Ready to earn that
Daily Planet internship?"

Lois then pick up a rock.

Lois: "Hey, goo guts! Turn around and smile for the camera!"

She then throw it at the monster causing some of it's
essence to splatter everywhere. The creature then turn to
the reporters and went after them.

(Y/N): "If I were you, you will run for that."

Lois: "On second thought, run now, pictures later!"

Blues: "There's a creature made of high volatile
chemicals, which I nicknamed it Chemo, is making a
rampage around the city."

Forte: "Then let's beat it to the ground!"

Rock: "Brute force will only do more harm than rescue."

Kara: "Quit it!"

Superman: "You quit it!"

Kara: "You started it!"

Superman: "You did!"

Kara: "You did first!"

Lois: "Hey, Superman!"

Then the two stop fighting and turn to Lois.

Lois: "Help!"

Superman: "Playtime's over, kid."

Crowd: "Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman!
Superman! Superman!"

You and Kara look down in loss of confidence until
Zen, alex, and Karen appeared.

Karen: "Supergirl! "X"! Listen! You--"

Kara: "What are you 3 doing here? Come to see the great
hero, too?"

Alex: "No!"

Karen: "No, listen! You have to stop him before he hits
that thing!"

Zen: "It's named Chemo and it's filled with hydrogen
fluoride and antimony pentafluoride! It's 20 quintillion
times more corrosive than sulfuric acid!"

Kara: "What?"

(Y/N): "He's made of super-dangerous glop! If Superman
hits him, the splatter will be so massive it'll reduce
Metropolis to a smoking hole in the ground."

Kara then gasp and turn to Chemo and Superman.
Superman then kiss his biceps.

Superman: "Mwah, mwah! Daddy's little helpers!"

Superman was bout to punch Chemo

Kara: "But... I don't know how to stop it!"

Steven: "Remember chemistry class? High temperatures
can break chemicals down to their base elements!"

Kara: "What?"

(Y/N): "He means, get him away from Superman and
blow him up! And talk about high temperatures."

You then change your armor from falcon armor to phoenix armor.

Blues and Lena appeared and they turn to each other
they look like they have a plan to knock Superman several
pegs as you were in Phoenix. You and Kara fly under Superman before he can punch Chemo and grab and head beyond the atmosphere. You then throw Chemo as Kara use her heat vision while you use fire wave to high temperature to destroy Chemo. There are sparkles all over the city as Superman was a bit surprised.

Superman: "Huh. Oh, yes!"

Crowd: "Superman!"

Superman: "Thank you, thank you. You're too kind."

crowd: "Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman!"

Superman: "Always here for Metropolis. Oh, yes."

You and Kara are in normal clothing and head to your team and the others.

Babs: "Kara! (Y/N)! That was amazing!"

Babs then hug you and Kara.

Jessica: "You just saved the entire city"

Zee: "And talk about a spectacle! Brava!"

Kara: "Yeah. I guess it's good that someone pays attention
in chemistry."

Karen: "But it was you who saved the day!"

Kara: "And it was him that got the credit."

You and Kara turn to Superman as the crowd was
cheering for Superman as he flies away.

Crowd: "Superman! Superman!"

Diana: "You chose the greater good over glory. You
should be proud."

Kara: "Thanks, Diana. I learned a very valuable lesson.
Always bring your own camera."

You then facepalmed at dissapointment knowing that kara didn't learn the lesson.

Lena: "Speaking of cameras, me and Blues took opportunity and record the whole thing."

Kara: "What do you mean Lena?"

Lena then show footage of Superman and Chemo to Kara.
She then slow it down frame by frame and show that it
was Supergirl and Mega Man X who saved the day, not
Superman.

Kara: "Wow, thanks guys."

Later, at the Daily Planetoid, Lois is working on her laptop
as you close the laptop. Lois then turn to you and
blushed.

Lois: "Uh hi."

(Y/N): "Hey Lois, remember what Kara said about
Supergurl and Mega Man X about doing anything to earn the
front page?"

Lois: "Yeah?"

(Y/N): "Well, a friend of mine recorded footage of
Superman fighting Chemo and if you slow the footage
down frame by frame, you'll see for yourself."

You then hand Lois the SD card with the footage in it and
you leave the room. Lois then play the footage and slow
it down frame by frame and discovered that it was
Supergirl and Mega Man X that saved the day and not
Superman.

Lois: "Huh, I guess Mega Man X and Supergirl aren't retreads
after all."

Soon, Daily Planetoid newspapers printed about the
Chemo incident as Superman was getting less popular.

Superman in the secret identity of Card Kent, was reading
the papers and see that Supergirl and Mega Man X are getting
popular.

Clark: "This is not gonna go well for me."
