Your P.O.V

As Selina pushes the door open, the sun shines in. I've seen the sun shine plenty of times; however, this time, it feels like it's shining brighter! Selina and I walk out hand in hand and walk down the path. I stop, I turn back towards the greenhouse and book it. Selina releases my hand and turns backwards.

"(Y/N)! Where are you going?" She yells after me. As I run through the front doors, Mom's attention returns to me. I stop in front of Mom and stand patiently. She smiles and quirks an eyebrow at me.

"Yes?" She asks amusingly at the same time Selina reenters the greenhouse.

"I have 2 more questions for you, Mom." I respond simply. She ushers me to go on.

"One! Can I get a phone?" I question with joy in my voice. She dwells upon the thought. She no longer has anything to hide, she's got nothing to lose!

"Ok." She responds simply. Her plants bring a couple hundreds and she hands them to me.

"I think you're responsible enough to purchase your own phone, yes?" Mom confirms.

"Definitely!" I reply excitedly.

"And your second question?" Mom inquires.

"That's right! Can I go to school? Like a public school?" I ask hopefully. Mom's eyes widen like saucers.

"It's not that I don't like being homeschooled! I love to learn at my own pace and eat whenever I want!" I reason.

"But...?" Mom persists.

"But... I want to experience school with other kids, kids my age..." I settle. She looks deep in thought for this one.

"At the end of the day, I'll have an answer for you. You can call me on your new phone." She winks and I get excited all over again. This time, I grasp Selina's hand and sprint out the doors. We hop into her 2019 Jaguar XE, a present from Bruce I'm sure... Within minutes, we leave the outskirts and enter the heart. Since today I'm really free, there are a couple of things I want to do.

"Selina?" I ask.

"Hmm?" She hums in tune with the engine. She parks the car, a couple blocks from Wayne Enterprises might I add.

"I want to go to Wayne Enterprises." I say, smirk on my face. She stops dead in her tracks. She realizes this looks suspicious and continues getting out of her car. She walks towards me at a slow pace. She glances at me from the side of her eye.

"Why do you want to go there?" She asks, slightly sweating. I snicker inwardly.

"Just to see how things operate in Gotham, what they do there, things like that." I reply innocently. She narrows her eyes and I give her a big smile.

"Ok..." She responds cautiously. Little does she know that I want to see this "Bruce Wayne" she's been talking about... We walk down the streets of Gotham. Selina wears black skinny jeans and a loose white blouse. Since she's 5'11, she sports flats instead of heels; to top it all off, pearls hang loosely from her neck and cat-eye glasses sit atop her head. Me? Well, I opted for a flowy (F/C) dress accompanied with a black leather jacket and strappy black sandals. Yeah, my style is pretty... unique. We're so close to Wayne Enterprises when someone slaps Selina on the butt. We both stop, though for different reasons. I stop because I'm shocked and Selina stops because she's angry. I squeeze her hand, she looks down at me and I look up at her. Her features soften and we continue walking. I'm glad we avoided a potential disaster. We walk through the doors of Wayne Enterprises and Selina's hand starts sweating. She's nervous, I smirk in my head. As we walk around the ground floor, someone calls Selina's name.

"Selina?" A smooth, deep voice calls out, curiousity is evident in the voice. We both turn towards whoever called her. I look up to see a tall, handsome man in a slick suit that easily surpasses $500,000. Damn, he is ATTRACTIVE.

"Bruce..." Selina finally says. Ah, the man in front of us is none other than Bruce Wayne.

"Hi, Mr. Wayne. I'm (Y/N)!" I introduce myself and extend my hand. Selina looks down at me, giving me a look; but, I just brush it off. Bruce looks down at me, eyebrows raised in amusement. He gingerly shakes my hand while I firmly grip his and shake it with enthusiasm.

"You have quite the grip, young lady." He comments with a pearly white smile. Wow, Selina wasn't kidding; he is really good-looking.

"Thank you. If you excuse us Mr. Wayne, we have places to be..." I explain and grab Selina's hand. We walk out of the building to go to another one of his buildings: Wayne Electronics. Man, this guy is loaded! While we walked out of this building, little did I know that Bruce was going to do a little research on me. We enter Wayne Electronics and buy me a new iPhone 11 with the $1000 Mom gave me; so, I have $200 left! It's about 1 pm, so we go to see if Gotham Academy is out of school yet. I know Mom said she would think about it; but, I'm just checking the lay of the land! By the time we pull up, the kids are getting out. We both get out of the car; but, I rush past Selina because I'm so excited. I hurry up the footsteps and trip up the stairs!

"(Y/N)!" Selina shouts my name as I fall into someone's arms.

"Are you alright?" A voice asks, presumably belonging to the pair of muscular arms that caught me. I look up to see a regal looking young man with olive skin and emerald green eyes. He has midnight black hair and is wearing a Gotham Academy uniform. He is gorgeous. Do all the Gotham Academy students look this stunning? I thought to myself.

"I'm not sure about stunning." He chuckles. Shit! I said that out loud!

"I didn't mean to say that aloud, my condolences." I apologize.

"It's alright. Damian Wayne." He brushes it off and introduces himself. My eyes widen similar to Mom's eyes this morning. Wayne? As in Bruce Wayne? Of course, good looks run in the family, doesn't it...

"(Y/N)." I say in return. A car horn is heard in the distance and Damian's attention is pulled towards a black car with an older gentleman opening the door for him. He glances quickly at Selina. I thought he scowled at her; but, he glances back at me and smiles a trademark-Wayne smile.

"This is where we must part, Ms. (Y/N). I have a feeling I'll be seeing you around." He concludes as he kisses my hand and walks away like the royalty he is. I stare off in his direction until he's in the car and the man drives away.

"Oh, you are so whipped." Selina jokes as she elbows me.

"I am not!" I deny, furiously blushing. I grab her hand and pull her towards the Jaguar. I pray to any and every deity in the sky; I hope Mom says I can go to school! Little did I know, after my eventful encounter with Damian, he, like his father, would also do research on me later that night. We go to see a baseball game played by the Gotham Knights and to ride all the rides at the amusement park. When our day is over, we head back to Selina's studio apartment. We get up there to see Bruce sitting in her chair. Selina almost drops her keys but catches them quickly.

"Hello Selina." He greets from the shadows, a little creepy but ok.

"Hi Bruce." She replies still standing in the doorway.

"Could we talk... privately?" He adds and glances in my direction. I avert my eyes, I don't know if I can handle so much attractive people in one day. She looks at me, concern in her eyes.

"It's ok, go talk to your beau." I tease as I usher her away. They walk into another room and I pull out my phone. I tap Mom's number and the phone picks up on the first ring.

"(Y/N)?" Mom says through the phone.

"Yes?" I respond.

"Good..." She sighs with relief.

"So... have you decided on an answer?" I press, hope in my heart. She's quiet for a little.

"...Yes." She responds in a quiet voice.

"And...?" I push, on the edge of my seat even though I'm still standing.

"I have decided that... you can go to school." Mom finishes.

"Yes!" I exclaim happily. I will finally get to be around other people my age! By the time I finished my conversation with Mom and downloaded a couple of games on my phone, Bruce and Selina return to the living room. Bruce gives her a kiss on the cheek and proceeds to leave.

"I'll see you girls around." He finishes as he walks out the door.

"Soooo, what did you guys talk about?" I ask, curious about their conversation.

"Just about... dinner plans." She replies.

"Oooo." I say as I playfully elbow her side. She giggles and goes into the kitchen, thinking about what she and Bruce really talked about.

Selina's P.O.V.

"Who is she, Selina?" He voices.

"She's... Ivy's daughter." I decide.

"How is that possible? Why is there no information on her? No medical records, no birth certificate..." He questions.

"It's... complicated." I says. He steps towards me, only having a couple of inches on me.

"Being kind of vague, aren't we Selina?" He asks in a low voice.

"Look, Bruce. I can't tell you, detective your way around it. You always do..." I trail off.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a 16-year old to take care of." I finish, looking him in the eyes, not flinching for a moment. He sighs and opens the door. He says goodbye to me and (Y/N) and he leaves, probably off to the Bat-Cave...

Your P.O.V.

My week with Selina has been up for 4 months. I enrolled into Gotham Academy the second day with Selina. For the past 4 months, Damian and I have been inseparable. Best of friends. At first, I did have a little crush on him; but, now that I know him for his personality and not his pretty face, I feel a more brotherly bond towards him... Since I enrolled during the 2nd quarter of junior year, I was a little behind. Though I was learning the same material when I was homeschooled, my pace wasn't fine-tuned with Gotham Academy's. Damian offered to catch me up at his house. Even though we've been friends for months, I've never seen his house; but, 'house' is DEFINETLY an understatement. He actually lives in a MANSION! It even has its own name! 'Wayne Manor'. We were studying in the library when Alfred came to offer us beverages.

"A lemonade, please!" I request.

"Tea, brown sugar instead of white, a fresh cut lemon-" Damian is cut off.

"In a china cup. I am familiar with your typical beverage, Master Damian." Alfred sasses Damian. I snicker as Alfred walks out of the study and into the kitchen.

"A bat has a wingspan of-" Damian begins but my mind goes elsewhere. A bat, what reminded me of a bat the other day? A lightbulb goes off in my head.

"Hey." I stop Damian. His eyes move from the paper to my eyes.

"What do you know about Batman?" I say suddenly. He narrows his eyes.

"He is the protector of Gotham, saving the civilians from the criminally insane." Damian responds simply.

"Ok." I say, Mom referred to Dad as "The Bat". She MUST have been talking about Batman. He's heroic AND has good intentions. Alfred brings the refreshments and sets them on the table.

"Thank you, Alfred." Damian and I say in unison.

"My pleasure, Ms. (Y/N) and Master Damian." He replies, walking away. I sip my lemonade and get back to work.

"Hey, where's the restroom?" I ask Damian.

"Down the hall to the right." He says.

"Be right back." I smile. Shortly after I leave, Bruce goes in to the study. I saw him leave with Damian; but, I didn't see them leave with my cup. I use the bathroom and wander around. I come across a clock. It reads 1:51 pm. I check my phone and the screen flashes 10:47 pm.

"Well, that's wrong." I mutter as I fix the time. The clock shifts to reveal a hidden staircase.

"Woah." I whisper. I do what you don't do in horror movies and go down the creepy, dark entrance. As I walk further downwards, a light becomes brighter and brighter, illuminating my path. I get to the bottom of the stairs when I notice a gigantic computer is the only source of light in the dark, underground space; might as well call it a cave... There are two individuals near the computer; one broad-shouldered person sitting in a swivel chair and one smaller one standing near the chair. On the computer is a picture of... me? From Gotham Academy? Under my picture, is my name and the word "RESULTS" in large letters. There are 2 pictures with captions: Pamela Isley a.k.a Poison Ivy and... Bruce Wayne? So, if Bruce Wayne is my father, then that means not only is Damian my half-brother but...

"Bruce Wayne is Batman?" I voice. I clamp a hand over my mouth. Idiot! I look up to see the individuals no longer occupying their previous spaces. I sneakily climb up the stairs when I bump into something, or someone.

"Shit..." I mutter. The person swiftly sweeps me off my feet and descends the stairs. I cross my arms, silently cursing myself for talking in a dead-silent place where I'm obviously not supposed to be. I assume it's a 'he' with his rock-hard abs pressed against my side and muscular arms around my frame. He walks across the floor of the cave and places me in the swivel chair. I look up to see Bruce Wayne's pretty face with a scowl.

"So, the playboy front is to disguise the fact that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman." I conclude, not talking to anyone in particular.

"Correct... sister." I hear as Damian emerges from the shadows.

"Is the emerging from the shadows a family thing or..." I question, recalling Bruce in Selina's apartment, trying to make light of the situation.

"How did Pamela get my DNA?" Bruce demands.

"Well, she doesn't actually know it's Bruce Wayne's DNA..." I say. He raises an eyebrow at me, waiting for an explanation.

"She just knows that it's Batman's DNA. So, your secret is safe." I state, hopefully putting Bruce at ease.

"Do you have powers like her?" Damian asks, wearily.

"Yes." I reply simply. The cave is uncomfortably silent for way too long.

"So, can we get back to studying? I'll be happy to answer any questions I can; but, I'm not trying to fail school when I just got here." I say. They look at each other and nod. Damian leads me up the stairs and out the cave. He grabs my shoulders.

"You can't breathe a word about-" I cut him off.

"Damian, how long have you known me?" I ask.

"4 months." He responds.

"And have I ever done anything to betray your trust in any way, shape or form?" I finish. He thinks about his answer.

"No." He says finally.

"Ok, you can trust me... brother." I add, to make fun of Damian calling me "sister". We walk back to the library when I get a call from Mom. I look up to Damian.

"Be right back." I whisper. I pick up the phone and let Damian walk ahead of me.

"Yes Mom?" I say into the phone.

"How was your day?" She starts.

"Oh, nothing major..." I say as I smile at Damian and head to the library.
